About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up with dogs and cats, my family always treated our pets as family, and I’ve carried that same philosophy into adulthood. In 2019, I adopted a senior cat who was diagnosed with diabetes shortly after joining my family. For the next three years, I dedicated myself to making his golden years as happy, healthy, and comfortable as possible. From administering insulin twice daily and keeping up with his care routine to encouraging exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection, caring for him taught me so much about patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding an animal’s individual needs. After saying goodbye to him in September 2023, I decided to take a break from pet ownership, but my love for animals hasn’t gone anywhere! In recent years, I’ve continued caring for friends’ cats and dogs, and I’m excited to get back into a regular routine of spending time with furry companions before eventually adopting again. My friends and family like to joke that I’m an “animal whisperer” because animals of all personalities seem to gravitate toward me! Whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or simply looking for a cozy spot to curl up, I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each animal unique. I approach every pet with love, patience, and respect for their routines and comfort levels. I know how much trust goes into leaving your furry family member in someone else’s care, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Plus, I’m always excited for an opportunity to make a new fur friend! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, and I’m excited to make more time for caring for furry friends! I have a few upcoming weekend commitments, which are already reflected in my Rover calendar. I’m anticipating starting a new full-time position toward the end of October, which would likely have me working Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with a mix of remote and in-office days. As my schedule becomes more established, I’ll continue updating my availability accordingly. In the meantime, I’m happy to coordinate with pet owners to find times that work for everyone! I’ve always considered pets to be part of the family, and I believe that when someone entrusts me with their furry family member, they deserve the same love, patience, and attention I gave my own pets. Every animal has their own personality, preferences, and comfort level, and I think it’s important to respect that! Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or shy and takes a little longer to warm up, I’m happy to let them get comfortable at their own pace. I love learning what makes each pet feel happy and secure, whether that’s their favorite toys, approved treats, a familiar routine, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company. I also take the time to understand each owner’s expectations, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, household rules, and any behavioral considerations. For dogs, that includes understanding their leash manners and comfort around other animals. For cats, I’m especially mindful of their indoor/outdoor boundaries and preferred ways of interacting. Having cared for my own senior cat, Mit Mit, I know how important it is to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I’m attentive to potential hazards, keeping things tidy, cleaning up after pets, and respecting the home I’m welcomed into. Above all, I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I’ll always do my best to follow your instructions, respect your pet’s boundaries, and treat your home and furry family member with the same consideration I’d want for my own!

About: Hello all! My name is Kayla and I’ve been pet walking and sitting for over 15 years. Dog walking, dog sitting and cat sitting. I have always loved helping out neighbors and family and friends with their animals. I also have animals of my own! 2 dogs and 4 cats! During my time with all of the animals I look after, I would feed them, take them for walks, potty trips and even go to the park. All my life I always knew I wanted to care for animals in any way I can. Teaching them from a young age and caring for them brings so much joy to me and helping other families with their animals is a big win for me! I’m a mom of 2 and I am also a nanny. My schedule is pretty easy to make time to help others with their pets and that gives me time during the day to walk and take care of your animals! I am available Monday-Sunday, 7 days a week. Monday-Sunday I can dog walk and do drop in visits. Friday-Sunday I am available to stay over nights. I am available 8am-12pm and 6:30pm-10pm during the week. If I am watching your pets at your home, I always make sure that I can see your pets if they are in the backyard or inside. Putting on leash/harness first before going outside, and always making sure they are comfortable and having fun! At my home, I have a fenced backyard for your dog to run around and a bowl of water incase they get thirsty! I also love to play fetch!

About: I have lived with, raised, and cared for multiple dogs at once for my entire life. I have grown up with retrievers, shibas, Rhodesian ridgebacks, and all manner of rescues. As a dog sitter, I have walked, played with, and done multi-day overnights with all kinds of canines, from timid greyhounds to rambunctious collies. I lead an active lifestyle and take my shiba for at least three 2-mile walks each day, plus weekend hikes and trips to the dog park. I am a freelance writer, so I have a very flexible schedule. The highlight of my day is walking my dog and, ideally, meeting new dogs along the way. I feel like Rover is the perfect way to spend time with dogs and help their time-pressed owners. About: I grew up on a farm and have raised puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs my whole life. I recently lost my elder dog, so I’m happy to spend time with yours. We live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of safe streets for walking. I’ve had dogs and rabbits since I was young and aspire to one day have a sanctuary for disabled pets. I had a 3 legged rabbit for 10 years and a rabbit with neurological problems and can take animals with disabilities. I have a huge fenced in backyard, puppy safe shampoo in case things get messy and a sweet 10 pound dog with moderate energy. I will communicate with you and send all the pics and videos you need to feel at ease while you’re away from your fur fam. I know what it’s like to have anxiety leaving pets in others care and will work to relieve that feeling for clients I work remote and on my own schedule so I have a lot of flexibility. I wake up early to give early morning walks and I’m home 99% of most days. I drive and can be somewhere when requested. I have a large and completely fenced in backyard and plenty of space indoors for play. I have dog gates around the house if I need to restrict area and can use a dog crate if the client would like. I have a small dog that can either be separated or play depending on the clients request, it’ll be easy to keep them separated if needed. I have large play pens for rabbits and will provide plenty of safe play time for them for a smaller fee. I work from home and wake up between 6-7 typically each day.
