“Good morning Natalia! Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Calvyn! It’s clear that you went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable, happy, and loved. We could tell he was in great hands, and it really put our minds at ease while we were away on the cruise. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you for everything you did an outstanding job! We noticed how happy Calvyn seemed to be when we brought him home. Job well done! Thank you so much we really appreciate it. We would highly recommend you to others! Manny and Addy Marques”

“Steven was great, taking on a last minute reservation for my dog when my friend who was going to stay with her fell and hurt herself. It was reassuring to me that Brooke was with a nice and caring family while I was away. I will definitely contact Steven again!”

“Erica was a godsend. We took in a foster in Feb and ended up adopting her. Unlike my other two dogs, the new pup hates being crated and has separation anxiety. We had a prescheduled trip planned for April and the new pup was too much for our house sitter to handle since he’d be coming and going. We were able to do a meet and greet with Erica where she assured me she’d have no problem watching the pup. Things worked out well and she will be my go to the next time we get away.”

“Keasha was a stellar pet sitter to Milo my Yorkshire Terrier she provided such TLC to him while I was away. She checked in with me daily on him eating, drinking and walking. Keasha gave me such peace of mind.”

With all-day supervision, timely potty breaks, and meals served right on schedule, you can rest easy knowing your furry babies are living their best, happiest lives while you're away. 🐾 Welcome to your pup’s home away from home! 🐾 Here is what makes our spot the ultimate pet paradise: • The Zoomie Zone: We have a fully fenced-in backyard ready for all the fetch and sniffing your dog's heart desires. • The Chill Out Lounge: Got a shy fur baby or someone who just needs a break from my own pups? Our secure, quiet den is the perfect peaceful retreat. • Travel Light: Don't stress about packing heavy! We are fully stocked with extra toys, cozy blankets, and comfy kennels if your pup prefers their own safe sleeping space at night or while I'm out running quick errands. • Double the Love: The best part? I have a built-in assistant! My teen son is a certified animal lover who is always down for playtime and belly rubs. Your pet will never feel lonely here!
“Great updates every day with pictures. Only thing I can complain about is now we need to get a second dog seeing how much fun Roxy had with Griggs....lol. Will be using Isabel in the future for sure.”

“Carolina was great with Kobe. This was our second time using Carolina. She communicated with me throughout the stay and sends pictures that ensures me that Kobe was in good hands. I look forward to booking Carolina for future stays.”

“Our pup, Oscar, has stayed with Tara twice now and both times has come home happy and tired! We completely trust her with taking good care of our fur child. Thanks again, Tara!”

“Our beautiful Lady knew right away that she was in good hands with Danielle. Her tail was wagging the moment she met her! We are so grateful for her kind and gentle care in her dog friendly, peaceful home, along with much appreciated photos and updates.”

“Had to find a place for my dog last minute and not only did I find someone for her I found someone great. Boa responded quickly to my request, did an excellent job communicating her needs and expectations before taking on my dog as well as listening to the needs I had on my end. In other words she’s good.”

“Oliver was so well taken care of. I got many updates and pics. Lots of exercise and love was given. They were super easy to communicate with as well and were flexible about drop off time to accommodate my work schedule. I will definitely be using them again.”

“Christina was the best Rover we have ever had! We felt so comfortable leaving Bo with Christina while we were traveling overseas. We received daily updates and Bo looked like he was living his best life and getting plenty of exercise. As soon as we got home, Bo slept all day!! Will definitely be bringing Bo back!”
“Zachary and Max take exceptional care of Rainbow. Rainbow is always so excited when we go there. This is the 2nd time we have booked with him and will do it again. I recommend booking with them.”

“Tex had a great time with Addison! As soon as he arrived he was happy to smell around and enjoy the other dogs. Addison was very accommodating and communicative. All in all a great time for Tex!”

“We had a great experience with Nick. He is super helpful, flexible, and easy communicate with, and sent daily photos and a video of our little dog. He has a great house and yard for the dogs to run around in, and two super friendly dogs of his own. Artemis came back happy, tired, and very well cared for!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Potowomut
This was our first time leaving Lucy with Natalia for 10 days with Natalia. Lucy did great and Natalia kept us updated daily with pictures and let us know how she was doing. We felt very comfortable leaving Lucy with Natalia in her home and she looked like she and Archie got along great. We would not hesitate to leave her with Natalia again!

Alexa is wonderful - you can tell she adores animals and our dog Archie loved her and her husband too! She was available for a last minute request when another Rover sitter cancelled and was graciously willing to have Archie stay for another couple of hours when our travel plans got delayed. If you need a sweet, responsive, responsible, easy to work with person for your pet, book her ! ❤️

Armitage took great care of my 2 dogs for a week. We got photos everyday and plenty of updates that they were doing well. Armitage also washed our dog’s beds before we picked them up, which was not expected! I felt very confident they were in good hands while we were away!

Emily is a phenomenal sitter. I booked at the last minute and she was so gracious and ready to help. Her care for my pup was top tier! I could not ask for a better person and sitter to take care of my pup. Emily was attentive, communicative and made my pup feel at home. I HIGHLY recommend Emily to take care of your pup. I’ll definitely book again.

Wonderful experience!! Our pug is our world and get worried about her with her pug myelopathy. They were great with her and sent TONS of photos and updates throughout our trip❤️ It made it so we could enjoy our trip and know she was in great hands. Thank you for taking great care of our Zo ☺️

Victoria is a wonderful dog sitter. She was incredibly responsive from the moment I reached out, which made the whole process stress-free. My dog is older and can be picky about eating, but she went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. She even picked up treats to encourage him to eat, and it made such a difference knowing she was willing to put in that extra effort. It was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being. I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and dependable sitter.

Jessica was exactly who we needed to take care of our dog during spring break. Our pup is a bit timid, but she was in good spirits when we left her. Throughout the 7-day stay, Jessica sent us photos and updates, which demonstrated her sense of responsibility. I will definitely have our dog stay with Jessica again!

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
