“Sent me pictures of my puppy and kept me updated! Loved how she took my puppy for walks and let her run in the fenced in backyard. Will definitely use her again! She was friendly and communicated!”

“Leanne and Michael were amazing! They took great care of our senior dog and sent tons of updates and pictures while we were away. I truly appreciate the care they took with our dog. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends!”

“We were very happy with Karen! She sent us daily updates on our dogs and pictures. She seemed to get to know our dogs right away and what their behavior was like. It’s was comforting to know she was paying such close attention to their needs. I would highly recommend Karen as a dog sitter”

“I can’t say enough great things about Armitage. They take such amazing care of Kharma every single time. Even when Kharma had to stay really late, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. It truly gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. At this point, Armitage is the first sitter I call every time without hesitation. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with Kharma. The level of care, consistency, and genuine love they show means everything to me.”

“Rhody always has a great time with Jessica and Abu. It's difficult leaving him as he gets older and Jessica is the only one we trust. She loves him like her own and takes such good care of him. Thanks to her we are able to travel knowing he's in the best hands. Always a 5 star experience!”
“We felt very comfortable leaving our dog Harper with Christina and Matt when we were away for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It was the first time Harper had ever stayed with anyone other than family and we weren’t sure how she would be in an unfamiliar place with another dog. It was obvious when we went for a meet and greet that Christina is a dog lover and Harper warmed up to her quickly. They have a great dog friendly yard and we received plenty of updates to let us know that she was doing fine. She definitely got plenty of exercise and a lot of love. Christina was understanding about Harper’s separation anxiety and was willing to accommodate her. We will definitely be repeat clients!”

“Ollie had another great stay with “Aunt” Jean. She takes care of him as though he were her own pet and sends us regular updates. It’s so nice to know he is well taken care of and in good hands when we have to travel.”

“I'm fortunate to have found Celina when I needed a pet sitter for the weekend! It was a pleasure meeting them, as they were kind and understanding when I expressed my concerns about Otto and leaving him in a new environment. I liked that they spend the time to get to know me and my pup before committing. Smokey is also a great pup, he's so sweet and clever and it was great watching him adapt his play with Otto. It's also clear that Celina and Smokey have a great relationship and love each other a bunch. They do great with establishing boundaries and advocating for the pups when it's needed. Celina also sent me photos of Otto's stay, which were all adorable to see! Communication was easy and simple, which I'm very appreciative of. Overall, it was a great experience working with them and I will definitely book again :)”

“Kyleigh was FABULOUS with our little dog, Bear! Bear can be anxious with new surroundings and people but Kyleigh clearly went above and beyond to settle her in. She sent us lots of pictures of Bear, gave her lots of attention and cuddles, and Bear looked very content! Bear also takes medication twice a day and Kyleigh handled it all. I will definitely rebook Kyleigh happily and highly recommend her! Thank you, Kyleigh!”

“Keasha and her family took great care of Bagel! I was confident that my dog was in good hands. Will certainly come back to Keasha when I travel again. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Koda has such a great time with Briana! We did a meet & greet prior and I was extremely impressed with her knowledge as well as the training of her own personal dogs. She was very attentive and asked all the necessary questions. During the stay, she sent multiple photos every day to check in - which was very helpful as this was my pup’s first time away from home. Koda had a huge smile in every photo! Would absolutely recommend Briana to anyone who needs care for their dog while they’re away and we will be back!”

“Anely was so wonderful with our pup for his 3-day stay! He can be kind of nervous around other dogs and people at times, but he settled right in with Anely and the other dogs who were being cared for at the time. I got lots of good picture updates. He was sad to leave! We’ll definitely be booking again.”

“Carolina was great with Kobe. She made him very comfortable. She was communicated throughout the whole stay. She was awesome in providing updates and pictures. I would definitely be using her service again!”

“Stephanie did a wonderful job with my two dogs while I was out of town for several nights. I got multiple pictures each day. They were in her care and they got plenty of exercise. She was very communicative regarding some trouble. One of my dogs got into at no fault of her own. It all worked out wonderfully because of her care and attention, and the dogs continued their boarding experience in style. I would definitely use Stephanie again next time I go out of town, as I highly recommend her.”

“Our dog, Noddle, is a cherished member of our family; Patricia treated him the same way. From the initial meeting, Patricia's genuine love of and experience with a variety of animals was obvious. Noodle took to her right away. From the photos including walks on the beach and playtime in addition to the messages she regularly sent us, we could tell that he was happy and pampered. We feel completely comfortable and enthusiastic recommending Patricia and will engage her again. She is great. Lucky Noodle. Lucky us.”

Michelle is always on time for her visits and handles everything from feeding to litter changes and the very unpleasant task of cleaning up the occasional regurgitated breakfast. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have been dog sitting on Rover for over a year, but exited the app for a while from my abundance of reoccurring clients. I am beginning to switch to boarding as I now have a new home with a fenced in yard! I have stayed at homes for weeks on end watching families pets. If you need any references from my past gigs, I'd be happy to give you their numbers! I am a school teacher looking for sometime fun to keep my busy in the summer. Low rates because I am just looking for some extra cash for my new home. I am completely free during my summers. I am also good for any other small tasks you may need done in your home. I have very flexible hours. I have an abundance of references from previous jobs that I would love to share with you. I am very excited to work with you! I’m currently employed as a 2nd grade teacher in the North kingstown area. With that being said, I can stop by for 20 minutes during my lunch break at 12, and will be home by 3:30pm. I have no other pets and a fenced in yard. I recently just purchased a home in East Greenwich and am excited to board dogs, rather than my usual “house sitting”. I am willing to house sit, as long as I can leave around 7:30am and return after the school day around 3:30pm. I am happy and willing to help in any way possible. Whatever you or your pet might need, I’m willing to assist. I’m looking forward to potentially meeting your pup! I am a school teacher in North Kingstown. I leave around 8am and am home by 3:30pm. I can come home to take out pups during my lunch at 12:00 if needed. I have a fenced in yard with no kids. I also live about a 3 min walk down to a dog friendly beach if your pup likes to swim and run.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Potowomut
“This was my first time using Rover or someone other than family to watch my dog (past or present). We started with a short daycare visit for our current rescue, Gracie. Leanne provided multiple updates, pictures and I ended the visit knowing my dog was in good hands with proper care. Leanne and her family are warm and welcoming and made Gracie part of their family during the visit. I will definately be back for future daycare or boarding needs. Thank you”

About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats, and litters of puppies and kittens since I was nine years old. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. We have fostered dogs and cats of almost all ages, from newborns to adults. Even during the years, my family and I fostered these animals, I’ve had multiple neighbors at a time rely on me to visit and walk their dogs while they’re at work. That is how I got my first job at 11 years old. I’m out of school for the summer, so I am free practically whenever your pups need me! I can drop in/walk daily or weekly, whatever works for you! With my school and work schedule and the living situation I’m in, I don’t currently offer boarding services, but that may change in the future!

About: I’ve been fortunate to share my life with dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs of many breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and temperaments, and every dog has taught me something new. Whether I’m taking a dog for a walk, stopping in for a drop-in visit, or providing pet sitting, I love building a connection with each dog and discovering what makes them feel confident, engaged, and happy. I believe the best care is about more than just exercise—it’s about giving dogs meaningful enrichment, companionship, and a positive experience in their own routine. My passion for dog training began with my Hunt Terrier, Harley. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but Harley was the first dog who led me into formal training. She was a nippy, challenging, bossy puppy! We completed McCann’s Life Skills program and are now part of their Higher Learning program. Through training Harley, I became fascinated by canine behavior and how dogs learn and communicate. I love continuing to learn about positive reinforcement, body language, and ways to help dogs build confidence and succeed. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve provided walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, companionship, and pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors while they were working or away. I also participate in instructor-guided pack walks with dogs of many different personalities and training levels, including reactive dogs. These experiences have helped me become comfortable reading dogs, staying calm, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs. When I’m with your dog, I’m not just there to complete a task. I want our time together to be enjoyable, engaging, and tailored to who they are. Whether your dog loves exploring on walks, needs a little extra patience during a drop-in visit, enjoys structured playtime, or benefits from quiet companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they have a positive experience. I also offer enrichment opportunities during visits, including trick training, sniffing games, and other activities that give dogs a chance to use their minds as well as their bodies. I love working with dogs of all ages, from puppies learning about the world to senior dogs who need a gentler pace. I’m also comfortable administering medications according to your instructions. After each visit, you’ll receive photos and an update so you can see your dog enjoying their time and have peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. I am available Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm Weekends May be available upon request I have openings for walks, enrichment, pet sitting and drop ins. Dog boarding is on a pet by pet basis. Hours will vary depending on clients needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Safety, love, and individualized care always come first. My large home and large yard provide plenty of space for enrichment and supervised outdoor time. I have lots of toys, agility equipment, training props and water fun. Harley, my friendly 15-pound Hunt Terrier, can provide companionship or be separated based on your dog’s comfort.

Whether your pup needs a long walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I’ll treat them like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently work part-time only two days a week, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays whenever possible. Since I only work a couple of days each week, I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, daycare, boarding, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive the love, exercise, and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, potty breaks, exercise needs, and any special requests you have. I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm, loving environment. I’ll keep you updated with lots of photos and messages throughout the day so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They are my favorite thing in the whole world. I signed up for rover because it is a way to make money while spending time with your adorable doggies! I will walk, feed, and belly-rub any and all dogs that come my way. I am also open to any special accommodations one might need. Available most nights and weekends, and still some mornings/weekdays. I am open to any breeds, and just ask that you be honest with your dogs comfortably level with new people for all safety. I will provide the absolute best care possible for your loved ones, and they will make my day better too! :) I have two dogs and a cat (who very much believes is a dog), however I have just moved out of my family home 4 months ago, and miss having them around. I have had dogs my whole life and fell in love with cats the past 6 years since getting my Ringo. I fostered cats in college and am regularly around my dogs, my bfs, and friends. And always willing to give some good scratches when they are willing. I would love to host your pets and treat them as my own for whatever time being! I am always sure to be in eye sight of the pet to provide the highest safety for them possible, and disrupt any trouble that could become. I like to see dogs play and know they have my attention.

“Sent me pictures of my puppy and kept me updated! Loved how she took my puppy for walks and let her run in the fenced in backyard. Will definitely use her again! She was friendly and communicated!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. Basic walks and play, feeding, medicine distribution, and anything else you need. I myself am active so playing isn't an issue or even giving baths.
“Julia was so wonderful with our Cubbie. She clearly loves animals and sent us updates everyday on how he was doing. Super reliable and communicative and he had a great time. Thank you Julia!”

“Madison was so good to our Skye! We got pictures and videos daily and she was so easy to work with. We will be using her again if we need to leave our girl behind!”

“Anne took great care of our dog, Ralph, while we were away. We got daily photo and text updates that gave us total peace of mind. Ralph came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely book with her again!”

“I brought my beloved Pomeranian Samara to Zoe this week. She spent two nights and when I picked her up she was happy and very tired from all her playing with another little dog. Zoe has a fenced back yard and Samara was free to run unleashed and enjoying zoomies. Zoe kept me updated with photos throughout the stay. I felt so grateful for Zoe's outstanding and kind care. I will definitely trust her again.”

“I had a last minute emergency and Erica came through for us. Very kind and loving family. It is obvious how much affection they have for animals. Daisy did great and I never worried about her for a moment. It was a good experience for us.”

“Sierra was great! My dog Gus came home happy, exercised, and with a well-needed trim :) Sierra made sure to communicate often and sent many photos throughout the weekend. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Poppy had a wonderful weekend stay with Robert! He was so kind and attentive and shared lots of pictures and updates while we were away. We will happily send Poppy back for future stays with Robert!”

“Mary was wonderful! It was our first time leaving our dog more than two nights (prior times with family) and she gave our golden all the love and he had a blast with the other dogs there! It was like a mini vacation for him and gave us great ease knowing he was being well cared for in the comfort of a nice home. Thanks again Mary!”
