About: Hii! I volunteered at shelters but I preferred building a relationship with pets in Rhode Island :) I grew up around many dogs and cats. A fun challenge was when we adopted our German Shepherd puppy! Training him was a fun challenge, but it was harder (yet more rewarding) when we adopted his brother as well! Now they’re grown and trained but I can still see the little puppy they are in their eyes! I also have a senior dog that needs extra care, but I love making sure she’s comfy and gets her massages. I work a hybrid 9-5, so I can make time mornings and evenings for pet care. On my work from home days I am more flexible to do care during the day. Weekends are fully available! In your home I would make sure pets are in their designated areas and can’t escape! Cleanliness is the largest thing I would keep in mind while making sure your pet is comfortable!

My home was also a foster home and we had many litters of puppies and kittens come through on their way to their forever families! About: I’ve been around animals since the beginning of my life. I grew up with cats & dogs, small & large. I started learning about dog training in 2020, I trained my first service dog in 2022. I’m always working to learn more & continuously improve my knowledge. Body language is a huge factor when it comes to taking care of dogs & making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. I’m great with puppies as well & can help out with basic training. Any questions please feel free to ask! I work from home, so I start my day by taking my dog out to our apartment property’s dog park to use the bathroom, & get play time in, then I bring him in to feed him breakfast. If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

I was a head Vet Technician at an animal hospital for 3 years. There I dealt not only with feeding, bathing/grooming, the handling of sick and healthy animals of all kinds, boarding, surgery recovery, medicine administration and overall care of the animals but also cleaning, sanitizing and bedding of sleep/living areas for them. I have experience with handling plenty of loving, friendly fur babies and I do also have experience with those few feisty stubborn ones! I get it we all have bad days! In this house the animals are allowed on the furniture and to sleep in bed with me if that's what they are comfortable with. I live on a dead end with a small creek behind my home. I have long leads and plenty of grass in a safe, secluded, quiet, peaceful, animal friendly area for potty breaks and outside play time. I have some clients that like to have a picture sent to them of their fur baby each visit which I'm always more than happy to do!
