“Leanne visited Mr. Shelby twice a day while I was away. She sent lots of photos and played with his favorite toys. This is the first time I have hired from Rover and not had a relative watch Mr. Shelby while I was away and this was the happiest he has been when I got home from a trip. I think he appreciated Leanne’s company and made a new best friend. I will definitely be hiring again. Without a doubt I highly recommend! I would even argue she is better than a relative watching him because sometimes relatives cut play time short, but Leanne was always at our home longer than the 30 minutes required which is so appreciated.”

“Rayna is the best! My cats were taken care of perfectly. She communicated more than I could have ever imagined. I felt like I was home with my cats every day when I saw her check in follow up cards. Highly recommend Rayna as your next pet sitter.”

“Brianna was great with Penny and was able to accommodate me last minute!! She kept in touch and made sure she was taken care of. I will definitely be using Brianna’s services in the future.”

“Emily was once again great with my two Siameses, Jade and Amethyst. Emily provided me with daily updates and pictures. The cats enjoyed their visits from Emily. I highly recommend Emily!”

“Kyleigh is incredible!! She is reliable and easy to communicate with. I have a 4-month old high energy puppy and she is so active and hands on with him! She’s also not bothered by the piranha puppy biting phase! Kyleigh is very accommodating and goes above and beyond to make sure my puppy’s needs are met. She responds quickly to any questions I have and is in constant communication to make sure the puppy needs are fulfilled. She sends the cutest picture and video updates throughout her visit. I will absolutely be having her work with my puppy again!”

About: With a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for dogs of every breed and temperament, I bring the kind of calm, reliable presence that pets respond to immediately. Caring for pets is what I do every day, full time. I've structured my life around it — and occasional remote work in television keeps me close to home, which means your dog is never far from someone who's paying attention. Your pet stays exactly where they're most comfortable — home. Whether it's a quick check-in, a long walk, or an overnight stay, I come to you. I follow your routines, respect your space, and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how things are going. Your home stays your home. Your pet stays stress-free."
“Samantha did a truly excellent job taking care of my senior cat Jam while I was away. I could not be happier with her level of communication and organization, as well as the attention to detail she showed. Samantha is very easy to work with and places a high standard on the care she gives. I would happily work with her again. Thank you!”

“I am so thankful I found Renee. She is kind and thoughtful and so attentive to our Basset puppy. Her visit summaries are very detailed and she takes several pictures to help me miss our pup less.”

“Michelle was great with our German Shepherd. She updated us with pictures of her playing and care reports at each visit. She even adjusted her schedule to fit Roxy's needs. She made us feel confident that Roxy was in good hands and taken care of while we were away. Very happy and would recommend her services.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life! Throughout childhood and adulthood I'm surrounded by my own family dog and friends and other family members, never went without a dog in my life! I myself have two kittens now but I still am surrounded by all my family and friends dogs all the time! I am also a vet tech/assistant of 3 years. I’m extremely well versed in dogs and their care through my own experiences and through my job. I currently work at Banfield pet hospital in Warwick helping out here and there, I also work another part time job in Warwick as well as having plenty of time to pet sit! I’m a very busy bee but extremely organized! Unfortunately I do not have a vehicle until further notice, so please bare with me and apologies for 20mi+ as I will be capable to do so in the coming months!! I also know how to care for avians, aquatics, reptiles, pocket pets, etc (with instructions of course as every friend and owners preference is different!) **The sooner in advance you can give me the better!** I do work a part time job however I pet sit lots of friends! I do typically work 6-8 hours in a shift at my part time (few days a week) however this can always be cut down to 4 hours or none, all depends on the friend and I’m pretty flexible! I currently work at Banfield Pet Hospital in Warwick part time, North Attleboro MA is my home hospital but currently helping out at Warwick due to convenience of no vehicle. Used to be a full time vet tech/assistant/receptionist for about 2.5yrs. I typically pick up a shift here and there at NA when I’m not at Warwick, but I’m now more into pet sitting, and it works better for me as I work two part time jobs that are extremely flexible and a small online business I’m starting up so my availability for pet sitting is pretty flexible! I am well versed in animal behaviors and tendencies due to my work experience and life experiences as a whole. Your pets are in great care with me! And I am extremely communicative and will notify you and message you of things if you needed and wanted!

“Jessica did drop in visits while i was away for an overnight trip . She was punctual and thorough with pictures and kept in touch and was trustworthy . Will definitely use her again !”

About: I have worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility in North Kingstown for more than 10 years! Due to my experience, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, shapes, ages, personalities, etc. Between the dogs at my job, the care I have done for clients through Rover in the past and my own pets at home, I have a ton of experience caring for animals. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I work the afternoon/evening shift at my job, but my mornings are open to those who are looking for pet care on the earlier side! I do have some weekend availability. Don't hesitate to send a message, and I can try to accommodate to the best of my ability! I will take your pet for a nice walk (at their pace, for their comfort) around the neighborhood or to their favorite spot, or spend my time playing/giving company to your pet when you're not home. My attention stays on the animal at all times as you never know what pets will try to get into. If there are any concerns, I will immediately notify you and thoroughly check the animal if necessary (to their comfort level, I will not push an animal to let me examine them but will promptly let owners know of any concerns and take necessary steps to ensure the animals safety.) I can offer water or food at your request and give medication if ever needed with your instructions.

About: I’ve been walking and pet sitting for about 3 years. I am in my zone when I am around pets. I make sure they stay on their routine with feeding, walks, and playtime, and I always keep their environment clean and safe. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. I currently offer dog walking and have a flexible schedule. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust to your pet’s routine for walks, exercise, and quick check-ins. I’m reliable and make sure your dog gets the time, attention, and movement they need. I always put your dog’s safety first during walks. I stay aware of our surroundings, keep a secure leash, and follow your instructions so your dog feels comfortable and safe the whole time.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including cats, dogs, reptiles, etc, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have hands-on experience feeding, medicating, and handling pets with different temperaments. I also previously worked at an animal hospital, where I cared for animals daily and learned how to safely handle both friendly and more aggressive cats and dogs. I’m very comfortable around animals and always focus on making them feel safe and cared for. I currently work as a server, which keeps my schedule flexible, and I mostly work nights. I can easily adjust my availability if needed too! I can offer plenty of exercise and playtime. Follow a regular feeding and watering schedule. Clean litter boxes and or accidents in the house. Monitor for any signs of illness or injuries. Offer plenty of love and attention!
“Brittany was excellent caring for our two cats over the holidays! She communicated every visit, sent pictures, and made sure they were loved and cared for. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Liz is so great! She helped care for my dog Sassy while we were away for a weekend. She gave updates and sent cute photos. It gives me so much peace of mind to know Sassy is in good hands. 10/10.”

About: I've been responsible for taking care of pets ever since I can remember- cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments. However, for the past few years I've been traveling a lot and so do not have any pets currently. Throughout the years, I've been a Vet Tech and adopted and fostered puppies through hospice dogs and several cats, and have had extremely friendly and reactive dogs. I'm willing to meet your pet where they are. I work from home and really enjoy my area of the world, so I tend to be a homebody during the week. I go for daily beach walks and enjoy swimming when it's warm enough. My neighborhood is great for walking, too. I love to get out and hike or explore on the weekends, but am also happy with projects around the house. High energy pups and couch potatoes are both welcome. I have a 4 foot fenced in yard and plenty of couch space. It's important to do what I can to help your pet be comfortable in a new environment, so I try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I do have a large crate and room for you to bring your own if that works better. The ticks are out in force so please make sure your dog is on preventive. I cannot accept dogs with bite history or food/toy aggression.

“It is so, so great to have a sitter that is not afraid of my zoo! As the owner of two cats, ten geckos, and ten snakes, all with different personalities ranging from shy to outright grumpy, I am very comforted by Rich's confidence in caring for them. I am a total momma bear when it comes to ALL of my critters (even the bitey ones), and I don't even worry while I'm away on vacation.”

Hillsgrove cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kim was awesome! She took care of our three cats for several days. She spent extra time with the cats the first few days to acclimate them to her. She made sure they were fed and administered topical ear medication. Kim really went the extra mile! She She gave us detailed updates and photos every day, keeping us fully informed and our minds at ease. We would definitely recommend her to others and would book her again in the future!
