“Kyleigh is incredible!! She is reliable and easy to communicate with. I have a 4-month old high energy puppy and she is so active and hands on with him! She’s also not bothered by the piranha puppy biting phase! Kyleigh is very accommodating and goes above and beyond to make sure my puppy’s needs are met. She responds quickly to any questions I have and is in constant communication to make sure the puppy needs are fulfilled. She sends the cutest picture and video updates throughout her visit. I will absolutely be having her work with my puppy again!”

“Rayna was amazing! She took such good care of our dog! She provided photos and comments throughout the day which put my mind at ease. She even did a meet and greet with our dog before the booking. I will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

About: Hello! I'm a passionate and experienced pet care provider who truly loves cats and dogs. With years of hands-on experience, I tailor each pet's care to suit their individual needs, ensuring they receive the attention, affection, and enrichment they deserve. Whether your furry friend is a playful puppy, a curious kitten, or a senior companion in need of gentle care, I am dedicated to making their time with me both safe and enjoyable. I believe in using only positive, force-free training methods to interact with pets. Every animal deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and I work to build trust and understanding through patience and encouragement. In addition to regular care, I am well-versed in creating enriching activities that cater to both cats and dogs. From stimulating games for mental and physical engagement to comfortable relaxation routines, I focus on keeping pets happy and healthy. I also have extensive experience caring for senior pets, including administering medications and providing the special attention they often need. Whether it's taking extra time on a walk, helping them get comfortable at home, or ensuring they take their medication on time, I'm here to provide the extra support that senior pets require. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I look forward to providing them with loving, individualized care! Pet care is a key part of my daily routine! I prioritize ensuring every pet I care for gets the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need. Each day, I dedicate time to provide interactive play, fun activities, and training sessions tailored to the individual needs of both cats and dogs. Whether it's a walk, a game of fetch, or quiet cuddles, I make sure their physical and mental well-being is supported. For pets with special needs or seniors, I always factor in any additional care or medication they require, ensuring they’re comfortable and happy throughout the day. Pet care is not just a job for me; it’s a passion, and I love making sure pets feel loved, safe, and entertained while they’re in my care. When a client trusts me in their home I take that responsibility seriously. I treat your space with the utmost respect and follow your instructions to the T. My home features a private, fully fenced yard. My dog is very friendly and loves to play all day. Meet and greet required first to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.
About: I have worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility in North Kingstown for more than 10 years! Due to my experience, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, shapes, ages, personalities, etc. Between the dogs at my job, the care I have done for clients through Rover in the past and my own pets at home, I have a ton of experience caring for animals. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I work the afternoon/evening shift at my job, but my mornings are open to those who are looking for pet care on the earlier side! I do have some weekend availability. Don't hesitate to send a message, and I can try to accommodate to the best of my ability! I will take your pet for a nice walk (at their pace, for their comfort) around the neighborhood or to their favorite spot, or spend my time playing/giving company to your pet when you're not home. My attention stays on the animal at all times as you never know what pets will try to get into. If there are any concerns, I will immediately notify you and thoroughly check the animal if necessary (to their comfort level, I will not push an animal to let me examine them but will promptly let owners know of any concerns and take necessary steps to ensure the animals safety.) I can offer water or food at your request and give medication if ever needed with your instructions.
“Brianna was great with Penny and was able to accommodate me last minute!! She kept in touch and made sure she was taken care of. I will definitely be using Brianna’s services in the future.”

About: Hi my name Lisa I am an animal lover I do not charge per pet per day like some I paused my profile to go to school. For vet tech and currently studying canine specialist I decided to rejoin rover because of my love for animals and to do what I enjoy helping pet parents with their pets You can read some of my reviews from past care I’ve given. I would be honored to care for your beloved family member while you are at work or away just can’t get home from work to walk the dog. Or let out. . I have been pet sitting for about 15 Yrs. On and off between schooling . I have 2 dogs. 4 cats of my own I would take more if I could I have fostered abused dogs and cats. I understand how upsetting and difficult it is leaving your pet or pets with a total stranger. Ive. Also had to hire an petsitter and how hard it is to find the right person that is within your budget is why I don’t charge per pet and rest assured I will care for your pet or pets. like they are my own.with Lots of love. And hugs going for walk. Or just playing in the yard they will have a fun relaxing time with me Any meds that are needed is no problem. My fees are negotiable and flexible. I understand how expensive sitters can be I’ve needed to hire them i look forward to hearing from you. I have a lot of time.to spend with your pet I try to work with the pet parents to accommodate what they need and the pet needs I currently can not board or daycare in my home with my pets and not having the room to care for them appropriately In the future I will be offering daycare

About: I’ve taken care of pets in my neighborhood since I was a kid and have always loved doing so. I have a cat of my own and have recently lost my childhood dog but want to share my love and care for animals! I am working at a summer camp which has about 35 hours a week but am available early morning and evenings and can always slip out on my breaks as well! I love making sure pets can trust me and incorporate plenty of play and cuddle time! Apartment with a 2 year old cat. Not sure of experience with other cats and doesn’t mind other dogs (only experienced with one elderly dog)
About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats, and litters of puppies and kittens since I was nine years old. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. We have fostered dogs and cats of almost all ages, from newborns to adults. Even during the years, my family and I fostered these animals, I’ve had multiple neighbors at a time rely on me to visit and walk their dogs while they’re at work. That is how I got my first job at 11 years old. I’m out of school for the summer, so I am free practically whenever your pups need me! I can drop in/walk daily or weekly, whatever works for you! With my school and work schedule and the living situation I’m in, I don’t currently offer boarding services, but that may change in the future!
“I couldn’t be more thrilled with the care Danielle provided for my 14-year-old cat, Emerson, over the New Year holiday. From the moment I met her, it was clear she’s kind, responsible, and truly loves animals. Emerson, who can be a bit shy with new people, warmed up to Danielle right away, and I knew she was in great hands. Danielle kept me updated with sweet photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my time away. I could tell Emerson was well-cared for, and I’ll absolutely be booking Danielle again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate pet sitter!”

Gabriella was thorough and communicative, I knew from our first meeting she would be perfect. she engaged with the boys from the start, bringing them toys and also taught me a few tricks which I continue to find helpful. I felt very at ease knowing she was there to help keep my babies safe and happy!

Phoebe was amazing. This was our first time using Rover and I am so fortunate to have found Phoebe. Our cats are like our children and she took such fantastic care of them. Her communication was incredible. We felt so comfortable having her check on our kitties and care for them. Would have her watch our cats again in a heartbeat. Thank you Phoebe!

Kim was awesome! She took care of our three cats for several days. She spent extra time with the cats the first few days to acclimate them to her. She made sure they were fed and administered topical ear medication. Kim really went the extra mile! She She gave us detailed updates and photos every day, keeping us fully informed and our minds at ease. We would definitely recommend her to others and would book her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cowesett. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
