About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats, and litters of puppies and kittens since I was nine years old. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. We have fostered dogs and cats of almost all ages, from newborns to adults. Even during the years, my family and I fostered these animals, I’ve had multiple neighbors at a time rely on me to visit and walk their dogs while they’re at work. That is how I got my first job at 11 years old. I’m out of school for the summer, so I am free practically whenever your pups need me! I can drop in/walk daily or weekly, whatever works for you! With my school and work schedule and the living situation I’m in, I don’t currently offer boarding services, but that may change in the future!
About: Mason and I have both had pets our entire lives, there has not been a single moment in my life where there wasn't a pet in the house. Between the two of us, we have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. In addition to this, we are also pet parents to two adorable bunnies Motzi and Popo who my parents care for when I house sit. Mason and I are both in school, but work opposite shifts when not in class, so your furry friends will never be home alone for long periods of time. We are avid hikers and love to walk, so an active puppy is no problem for us. We both love animals and have extensive experience with a variety of pets and their personalities and would love to get to know yours! As pet parents ourselves, we know it can be difficult, and sometimes scary leaving them with other people for a time, but you can trust that Mason and I will provide thorough, loving care for your furry friend(s)! Mason works early morning into the afternoon and I am currently in college. When I am not in class, I have full availability with your pets, so your furry friends will never be home alone for very long. On a typical week, Mason and I both leave the house at around 6:30 or 7 am depending on how our commute may be where we are staying. I am usually back from school before noon and will spend the rest of the afternoon with your pets! Once Mason is home from work, we both take care of your furry friends. We will always do our best and move our schedules as much as possible to ensure that pets are not home alone for extended periods of time, especially young puppies or kittens as we know how adorable, yet mischievous they can be 😂! We are very flexible when it comes to the care of your pets, they are your pets after all! Whatever needs to be done for them, we got you! If for any reason, we think the job may require more time than we have to give, I will gladly let you know so that your pets will receive the care that they need and deserve. As lifelong pet owners, we have experience will mischievous puppies and kitties who get into stuff they shouldn't, as well as older pets who may need a little extra attention when it comes to things like food and medications. I have had many pets, and know how different their personalities and needs may be, and we are very comfortable catering to specific needs of your furry friends whether it be behavioral or medical.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of different breeds since I was 15. I have experience in feeding, walking, playtime, and anything that helps keep them in their normal routine. Neighbors, family members, and friends have trusted me with their fur babies. I even still care for my neighbors sweet dog, Molly, from time to time when they are away. Caring for animals is very rewarding for me because I love seeing how quickly they react to patience and kindness. It feels meaningful to know that I’m improving their day-to-day comfort and happiness while their owner is away. I’m currently in college (off for the summer) so I’m available whenever you need me to care for your fur babies. Im available for walks any time and will gladly make home visits when needed. I understand that safety is one of the most important factors in caring for animals. I will always respect a client’s home and only do what is instructed of me. At my home, I have a large fenced in backyard my own dog loves!
“Victoria was an amazing pet sitter for drop in visits for our little meow. She was incredibly responsive with all communication, showed up on time, shared lots of updates and photos with us, and even checked on our chickens as well. She was proactive with questions, and just made us feel comfortable and at ease right away. She is a thoughtful and caring person, and her expertise and comfort with animals was very apparent in how she approached getting to Lia. We highly recommend Victoria, and are looking forward to having her back to watch Lia again soon!”

“Alison is just the sweetest and my pups love her!!! You can tell she is a true animal lover and I feel so much better leaving my furry kids knowing that she will be there to take care of them when I’m at work! I highly recommend her!!”

“She followed directions and took excellent care of our two pups and baby bunnies. This is our 3rd family vacation using Zoe and she is always wonderful. Thank you Zoe for putting our mind at ease hundreds of miles away from our fur babies!”

“This was the first time my family and I ever used Rover, and I loved the experience. We have always been able to find friends or family to pop in and care for our cat but unfortunately the last friend we used left our house an utter disaster. Abigail was professional and respectful and our normally crazy cat loved her.”

“Riley did a great job looking after our senior cat Felix. This is our first time using Riley since we just moved to this area a few months ago and we definitely plan on using home again! Thanks, Riley!”

About: Throughout my life, animals and children have been drawn to my soft energy. I’ve had and been around dogs and cats all my life. I’ve been working with my giant schnauzer and friends’ dogs that range from rescued grey hounds to small mixed breeds. I am the go-to for any pet sitting for the fur babies. I’m an aunt to a female brindle kitty that is a sassy lady but loves to snuggle me when I visit. Additionally, I frequently watch a reactive grey hound and I am able to still provide the attention she deserves. I understand patience is key when working with people and animals. I’m a Behavioral Technician for children on the spectrum. I currently work 8 am-5 pm Mon-Fri in Warwick. I’m the perfect fit for holidays, evenings, overnights, and weekends! I am thorough with my communication and the expectations needed for any situation. I am typically a homebody who enjoys movies, games, and reading. When house sitting, I usually hang around with your fur baby and offer emotional support until you return. I’ll follow their lead and offer bids for connection. I stick to the routine schedule provided to me (feedings and potty breaks). While providing the known routine for comfort to the animal, I use this time to attempt pairing whether that be with pets of affection, extra treats (if allowed and within acceptable limit), or structured play time.
“Tessa cared for our senior goldendoodle, Jade, like she was her own. She sent amazing pictures and gave us constant reassurance of Jade's well-being. I would recommend Tessa to anyone seeking the very best care for their pet. She's a gem!”

“Rayna is the best! My cats were taken care of perfectly. She communicated more than I could have ever imagined. I felt like I was home with my cats every day when I saw her check in follow up cards. Highly recommend Rayna as your next pet sitter.”

“Juliana is so great with our very timid mini-poodle. I feel so comfortable having her take care of him. Will be using Juliana again and again. Can’t say enough about how wonderful she is, both affectionate and responsible.”

About: Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals, including chickens, dogs, cats, and even a parrot. My lifelong experience with animals, combined with my work as a dog walker, has given me a deep understanding of the love, care, and attention pets need to thrive. I currently have two cats, Mac and Angel, whom I adore, so I understand how difficult it can be to be away from your pets. Caring for animals is something I am truly passionate about, and I believe every pet owner deserves peace of mind knowing their furry family members are receiving the affection, attention, and quality care they deserve while they're away. As I work full-time as a Registered Nurse, I am available between 7am-8am, and 4:30pm-10pm Monday-Friday. I am available all day Saturdays and Sundays. Growing up, I had 4 dogs who needed lots of love, affection, and, of course, walks! While working for Darlin Doody (a dog-walking service), I ensured that every animal received plenty of pets and attention during their walks. I am happy to feed furry friends and clean litter boxes. I am also experienced with administering various medications. I
About: I have worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility in North Kingstown for more than 10 years! Due to my experience, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, shapes, ages, personalities, etc. Between the dogs at my job, the care I have done for clients through Rover in the past and my own pets at home, I have a ton of experience caring for animals. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I work the afternoon/evening shift at my job, but my mornings are open to those who are looking for pet care on the earlier side! I do have some weekend availability. Don't hesitate to send a message, and I can try to accommodate to the best of my ability! I will take your pet for a nice walk (at their pace, for their comfort) around the neighborhood or to their favorite spot, or spend my time playing/giving company to your pet when you're not home. My attention stays on the animal at all times as you never know what pets will try to get into. If there are any concerns, I will immediately notify you and thoroughly check the animal if necessary (to their comfort level, I will not push an animal to let me examine them but will promptly let owners know of any concerns and take necessary steps to ensure the animals safety.) I can offer water or food at your request and give medication if ever needed with your instructions.
“Brianna was great with Penny and was able to accommodate me last minute!! She kept in touch and made sure she was taken care of. I will definitely be using Brianna’s services in the future.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
