“Devorat is an absolute dream. She is truly the pet-parent that you want if you have to be away from your own pet. My dog Mookie stayed with Devorat for 5 days and nights on very short notice. She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. “David was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns even before I dropped off Bean. She is a lovebug but can be nervous. I was a little bit worried about dropping her off with someone she didn’t know for an overnight but David sent me a video of their walk soon after I left and she was very happy. I got more pictures of her smuggling on the couch and knew the only problem would be making her leave to come home with me. I’m happy to have found David and it’s worth the 25 minute drive from Providence. He has a big fenced yard and beautiful neighborhood.”

About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats, and litters of puppies and kittens since I was nine years old. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. We have fostered dogs and cats of almost all ages, from newborns to adults. Even during the years, my family and I fostered these animals, I’ve had multiple neighbors at a time rely on me to visit and walk their dogs while they’re at work. About: Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I absolutely love dogs and have over 8 years of experience with dog walking, overnight sitting, and working at a dog daycare. I am pet CPR and first aid certified! About: I have lived with, raised, and cared for multiple dogs at once for my entire life. I have grown up with retrievers, shibas, Rhodesian ridgebacks, and all manner of rescues. As a dog sitter, I have walked, played with, and done multi-day overnights with all kinds of canines, from timid greyhounds to rambunctious collies. I lead an active lifestyle and take my shiba for at least three 2-mile walks each day, plus weekend hikes and trips to the dog park. I am a freelance writer, so I have a very flexible schedule. The highlight of my day is walking my dog and, ideally, meeting new dogs along the way. I feel like Rover is the perfect way to spend time with dogs and help their time-pressed owners. About: I have owned animals ever since I was six years old and over the course of my life have had three golden retrievers and one black lab mix as well as six bunnies. I am the friend my friends call to feed their animals, them out on walks or simply check in on them. I also gained two years experience in high school as an assistant pet groomer. “Devorat is an absolute dream. She is truly the pet-parent that you want if you have to be away from your own pet. My dog Mookie stayed with Devorat for 5 days and nights on very short notice. She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. We already plan to book with Devorat again soon!”

“David was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns even before I dropped off Bean. She is a lovebug but can be nervous. I was a little bit worried about dropping her off with someone she didn’t know for an overnight but David sent me a video of their walk soon after I left and she was very happy. I got more pictures of her smuggling on the couch and knew the only problem would be making her leave to come home with me. I’m happy to have found David and it’s worth the 25 minute drive from Providence. He has a big fenced yard and beautiful neighborhood.”
About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. Basic walks and play, feeding, medicine distribution, and anything else you need. I myself am active so playing isn't an issue or even giving baths.
