It's also clear that Celina and Smokey have a great relationship and love each other a bunch. They do great with establishing boundaries and advocating for the pups when it's needed. Being a travel nurse and first time Rover user, I was super nervous about the whole process, but they were so welcoming and accommodating to all of my pups need. Cherylee even went as far as to rescue us when my car broke down on the way to our meet and greet! I have an older pup with a lot of dietary and medication needs. “Devorat is a god send! Pepper and I are new to RI, therefore leaving her to spend the night with a new sitter made me uneasy. Given that this was her first night away from me in RI, Devorat went above and beyond to ensure that both Pepper and I were comfortable with her space by arranging a meeting prior to the booking. Devorat has a large space that includes an enclosed yard for active dogs. That is on top of the dog walks they did together. I appreciated that, as did Pepper. About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. Basic walks and play, feeding, medicine distribution, and anything else you need. I myself am active so playing isn't an issue or even giving baths.

This was our first time leaving Lucy with Natalia for 10 days with Natalia. Lucy did great and Natalia kept us updated daily with pictures and let us know how she was doing. We felt very comfortable leaving Lucy with Natalia in her home and she looked like she and Archie got along great. We would not hesitate to leave her with Natalia again!
Armitage took great care of my 2 dogs for a week. We got photos everyday and plenty of updates that they were doing well. Armitage also washed our dog’s beds before we picked them up, which was not expected! I felt very confident they were in good hands while we were away!
Emily is a phenomenal sitter. I booked at the last minute and she was so gracious and ready to help. Her care for my pup was top tier! Christina was truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her highly enough as a dog sitter/boarder. She cared for my two dogs (both labs) —a 5-year-old and a 6-month-old puppy—for eight days while my family and I traveled out of the country. I was incredibly nervous about leaving them, especially the puppy, who is so young. Both dogs were adopted after spending time in shelters and foster homes, and I worried about how they would feel being away from us. On top of that, it had been a long winter with constant snow, and the puppy has endless energy—they are a lot to handle even under normal circumstances. I knew this would not be an easy job. From the very beginning, Christina went above and beyond. She graciously met with me over Zoom and in person before our trip, taking the time to understand their personalities, routines, and my concerns. Her thoughtfulness and calm, capable demeanor immediately put me at ease. While we were away, Christina communicated with me every single day. She sent updates and reassurances that meant the world to me, and it was clear she was attentive and deeply invested in their wellbeing. She adapted to their individual needs, handled their energy with patience, and even carefully cared for the puppy when she got a small cut during play with her older sister. I always knew they were safe. Her home is also a wonderful environment for dogs—she has a large, secure fenced yard and a very thoughtful approach to introductions. She had a clear plan for introducing my dogs to hers and uses gates throughout the house so each dog can have space and quiet time when needed. It showed how experienced and intentional she is. When we returned home, our dogs were thrilled to see us—but it was obvious they had been happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. That is the greatest reassurance any pet owner could ask for. Leaving your dogs behind—especially rescues and a young puppy—is incredibly hard, but Christina made it possible. She is responsible, communicative, compassionate, and truly exceptional at what she does. I would trust her again without hesitation.
