Rich is incredible super helpful whenever we go away and also helps me out in a pinch from time to time which has been awesome. His wide array of knowledge with different dogs is super helpful especially with our huge baby Goomba. 70 pounds of pitbull.

Eden was great. I had to book relatively last minute. She was very responsive and professional. I had to leave very specific instructions to get into my apartment and she had no issues. Reagan was well taken care of and seemed very happy in the pictures she sent. I would definitely use Eden again!

My husband met with Fiona only about 1 week after we moved to Cranston. We have a senior coonhound. He's big, he's sometimes stubborn and he had just moved away from a dog walker he loved that he'd known for 7 1/2 years. But Fiona is great! She has handled Bingley like a champ. He's warmed up to her pretty quickly and is gaining confidence in the new neighborhood. She sees him twice a week (when my husband goes into his office) and takes amazing photos with him. She's super responsive and was even able to squeeze in another last minute walk request. We're really happy so far, and I think Bingley is too :) Fiona is exactly what we needed: someone reliable, kind and patient who doesn't mind an old dog with "opinions."

I love that JetaBea now looks forward to Hannah’s. Arrival on each walk day. I am so grateful for her kindness with this older clunky dog. I love to see her head come up when I mention her name. She does that only when you mention someone she really likes!

Tiffany has been taking really good care of my dog Leela. I just got Leela from the shelter and Tiffany knew exactly how to approach my very skiddish dog. Leela loves to go on walks with Tiffany so much she waits by the door for her every day.

About: Animals are definitely my passion in life! I have taken care of and owned cats and dogs my entire life and have loved every moment. I have previously worked as a certified pet sitter and dog walker for a local pet sitting business. Along with pet sitting and dog walking, I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters where I worked with a variety of different animals. I am also Pet CPR and Pet First Aid certified, and am able to administer oral medications to dogs and cats. I have experience working with puppies with high energy who are not leash trained, with senior pets, deaf pets, and more. I will provide customized care tailored to your pet’s needs and give them lots of love along the way! I treat animals the same way that I treat humans- with respect and empathy. I also encourage meet and greets with clients so that I can get to know you and your pets before the scheduled visit! This helps me learn your pet’s routine and get comfortable with them. My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible. I have availability for drop-ins and dog walks in the mornings and afternoons (6am-3pm) every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Safety is my #1 priority while pet sitting. I will follow any instructions you give me for taking care of your pet. As for dogs- your dog and I will always take the quieter and less busy route and avoid people and other pets to prevent any unfavorable mishaps. A fenced-in yard is always preferred for playtime, but if you do not have a fenced-in yard than your dog will always be on the leash while we are outside to prevent any runaways. If you have instructions to put your dog in their crate upon leaving, I will always make sure they go into their crate comfortably and latch the hooks completely. In regards to cats, when entering and exiting the house I use extreme caution to make sure the cats do not run outside. I am also Pet CPR and Pet First Aid certified so you can rest assure that your pet would be well tended to if an urgent situation were to arise.

About: Se habla español! Hello there! My name is Devorat, but you can call me Debby. I’ve always loved animals and have spent most of my life caring for pets. I have lots of energy and love to spend it playing with animals! I consider pets part of the family, and I know exactly how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your fur baby. I offer a highly attentive, safe, and loving environment in Cranston. My home has a fully fenced yard where your dog can run and play safely, and I am home to provide potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours. My family has a friendly 6 year old Goldendoodle named Toby, but he lives downstairs in a separate apartment. Because of this, my main living space is completely open and dedicated to my guest dogs! It is an open & flexible place where multiple guest dogs can socialize and play together comfortably. A Note on Special Accommodations: I want every pup to feel completely safe and stress free, I am happy to take on senior dogs or pups who need a little extra space! If your dog needs their own private room, a strict rotation schedule away from other guest doggies, please shoot me a message. Because of the extra time and private room setup required, my rate for solo/special needs boarding starts at $65 night. Since I attend school virtually, I am home all day and pet care is my primary focus! Your pets will have constant company and plenty of attention. I am fully available for overnight boarding, fun doggy day care, and active neighborhood dog walking on both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!

At the end of every walk Zoe is completely tired out (which is great since she has enough energy to power up a small village), and Zoe has become really attached to Stephanie since they have started their walks together. I certainly recommend her to anyone!

About: Ive been taking care of family pets for years and I enjoy spending time with them! Animals are my passion and I’ve earned the experience of taking care of them. This is my part-time job, which means my schedule is very flexible and easy to work around. I’m able to adjust my availability to meet your needs, whether that’s weekdays, weekends, mornings, or evenings! I have had a dog for around 10 years and I’ve seen the way he’s grown from pup to a big dog. I’ve also taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs that are smaller. With this, I can promise that your pets will be safe with me!

Rania has taken care of my cat before so I rebooked her for my new puppy. Not only does she love cats and cares for them like her own but she is UNBELIEVABLY attentive to dogs. My puppy is new and needs tons of support and training and she dove in headfirst with no hesitation and without me even asking. Obviously like I dont expect her to train my dog but the fact that shes so attentive and notices even the slightest changes and moods of your furry friends is a MASSIVE plus. She even took a picture of my cat without my asking to update me in how shes acclimating to the new dog. She spent time with my new puppy and got him getting used to the crate and kept up with all the potty, walk, and crate training I’m doing. She is also super knowledgeable and gives great advice. She cares and is professional about it and realistic about the care she can provide. I enjoy working with her because it’s easy and she handles everything. She is not shy to clean up an accident or two either shes just amazing. Please please book her she is soooo good and she also responds SUPER fast.

What a wonderful experience. I booked a 30 minute walk for my parents puppies because my older mom just needed a minute to herself. She recently got Pebbles (Aug 21) and she’s working through the motions of getting acclimated. Nicole was so quick to accommodate the request and was very flexible about the process. My mom enjoyed their interaction and really felt safe sending the dogs with her. 10/10 recommend. Fantastic experience.

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
