About: I’ve always loved being around and taking care of animals. Growing up, my family always had a cat and after moving when I was 12, we finally got a dog of our own. In addition to my pets, I’ve watched, fed, and walked dogs for extended family, neighbors, friends, and coworkers. I’m familiar with the slower paces and side effects of arthritis in older dogs as well as the boisterous energy of puppies. I’ve also cared for a number of cats and kittens and their wide range of personalities—from my clingy-but-only-cuddly-on-her-terms tabby, to the friendliest barn cat you’ll ever meet, or patiently befriending the quietest and shyest of shelter kitties. I’ve also cared for parrots, fish, hamsters, and horses, and know no animal is too big or too small to be a friend. I’m currently working part time as a stagehand for smaller live event venues around New England as well as being a part time student at MassArt studying graphic design. While hours for stagehand gigs vary, I generally have the afternoons and evenings available. I’m a tidy and quiet person who generally abides by the “leave no trace” rule, meaning my goal is not to leave any remnants of any messes I or any pets may have made during my time at a client’s house.

About: I want to work with dogs and cats. I will walk for 1 mile typically with your pet. I want to stay within East Greenwich, RI. I work full time during the week, so I am available on weekends. I can also walk from 5:00-7:00 during Monday through Wednesday during the week. My Sister has had dogs, so I really enjoy them especially golden retrievers. I also grew up with a collie. I like to take walks.

“Gaby is the most wonderful animal lover that I know. We've known each other since more than 15 years from Brazil and she always had very deep connection with animals. Growing up she had 3 little dogs at her parents' home and when she moved out she got 3 cats, but that also increased with time. Now there is also a new dog in the house, Romeo, a loving golden retriever that I hadnt had the chance to meet yet. She used to get stray cats out of the streets, get them healthy, clean and castrated until a new home for them was found. A few new cats ended up at her house like that as well. She is always very worried if they are feeling well, if they are happy and if they have everything they need. Back in Brazil she used to have extra dog and cat food in the car, in case we would pass by any animal living in the streets that we could not take home right away. That way, they would be taken care of until somebody would come to rescue. I would leave my little baby Chico (a yorkshire) in her care without even blinking, because I know she would be the most responsible and fun person to take care of him.”
