“Jessica was amazing with our dog Coco! He went on lots of walks and she sent several pictures and updates. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving safe place for their pet while they are away.”

“Cherylee took such great care of my young cat. She had awesome toys for him, kept him entertained and sent me photos and videos. I felt really good about leaving him in her care. I was nervous and worried about leaving him for the first time but all went purrfectly! I will definitely use Cherylee and Steven again!”

“Nervous about leaving our furbabies because of a prior experience. David was wonderful, playing with our high energy Rocco and entertaining nosey Lahey. So grateful that we found him and will rebook. He listens about your furbabies needs and genuinely cares. Highly recommend.”

“Anne was amazing! So attentive and took in mind my dogs usual routine- and took extra great care of her! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her and would definitely recommend her.”

“Briana was amazing. I had updates on my pup the whole time. Pictures of Luna’s giant smile put me at eas while I left her for the first time. If I have to go away again and Luna can’t join I will definitely have Briana watch her again. Thank you Briana!!!”

“Our dog had such a wonderful time with Catheen in her home. Her attentiveness, photos and updates, and genuine care for our Bailey was unparalleled while we went out of state. We trusted her completely, as Cathleen felt like family from the first meeting. Even her family loved and cared for our pup with the same love and adoration! We will be repeat clients for as long as she’ll have us. Thank you, Cathy!!”

“Eve maintained great communication throughout our pup's stay, really gave us a peace of mind. Well kept grounds and clean household. Her own dogs are friendly and kept our dog busy. We are so lucky to have found her. 100% recommend.”

“Paige is a wonderful sitter! She was warm and welcoming to our two dogs, and sent updates (including an adorable video of her child playing with our dogs!). Her house is spacious for the dogs to stretch out, and the fenced yard was ideal. I especially appreciate her flexibility when our flight (and therefore our return home) was delayed by a few hours. Highly recommend!”

“I felt so good leaving my little girl with Anely as I was sent daily updates and pictures which put us at ease! Would definitely book again, thank you so much!”

“Jacqueline was amazing! She provided excellent care and daily updates. We were confident our dog was in good hands, and we would certainly leave Daisy with Jacqueline again in the future.”

“Dana took care of our little recently rescue pup. She helped him settle into her home with love and patience. Dana is very knowledgeable regarding how to work with a newly rescued little dog. She offered me some valuable advice and I would use her again anytime I required an in-home sitter.”

About: Se habla español! Hello there! My name is Devorat, but you can call me Debby. I’ve always loved animals and have spent most of my life caring for pets. I have lots of energy and love to spend it playing with animals! I consider pets part of the family, and I know exactly how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your fur baby. I offer a highly attentive, safe, and loving environment in Cranston. My home has a fully fenced yard where your dog can run and play safely, and I am home to provide potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours. My family has a friendly 6 year old Goldendoodle named Toby, but he lives downstairs in a separate apartment. Because of this, my main living space is completely open and dedicated to my guest dogs! It is an open & flexible place where multiple guest dogs can socialize and play together comfortably. Since I attend school virtually, I am home all day and pet care is my primary focus! Your pets will have constant company and plenty of attention. I am fully available for overnight boarding, fun doggy day care, and active neighborhood dog walking on both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!
“I was super nervous to leave Remy with a stranger for the 1st time, but as soon as I met Christina, I knew she was in good hands. Christina sent me so many pictures and updates of Remy having the best time playing in their amazing back yard, going on multiple (!!!) hikes, and snuggling with their sweet boy Frankie. If you have a dog with a lot of energy - look no further for the ultimate pet sitter! Christina, her husband, and their dog Frankie truly treated Remy like part of their family for the weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful for finding them on Rover. If I could give Christina 100 stars, I would! Remy and I are both looking forward to her next stay at their home!”

“Thank you, Zach, and your family for always taking care of Pinot. I appreciate the communication and flexibility. Always at ease knowing Pinot is well taken care of by good people!”

“Robert is wonderful—such a kind person. We left our dog with him for three days and could not have been happier. Every morning, he sent us a message about how Cookie was doing, along with a video. Victoria is a wonderful dog sitter. She was incredibly responsive from the moment I reached out, which made the whole process stress-free. My dog is older and can be picky about eating, but she went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. She even picked up treats to encourage him to eat, and it made such a difference knowing she was willing to put in that extra effort. It was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being. I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and dependable sitter.

Natalia was fantastic with our boxer over the 4th of July weekend. She was reliable, caring, and made us feel completely comfortable while we were away. Our dog was well taken care of, and we really appreciated the updates and attention she gave her. We would absolutely book with Natalia again and highly recommend her!

Christina was truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her highly enough as a dog sitter/boarder. She cared for my two dogs (both labs) —a 5-year-old and a 6-month-old puppy—for eight days while my family and I traveled out of the country. I was incredibly nervous about leaving them, especially the puppy, who is so young. Both dogs were adopted after spending time in shelters and foster homes, and I worried about how they would feel being away from us. On top of that, it had been a long winter with constant snow, and the puppy has endless energy—they are a lot to handle even under normal circumstances. I knew this would not be an easy job. From the very beginning, Christina went above and beyond. She graciously met with me over Zoom and in person before our trip, taking the time to understand their personalities, routines, and my concerns. Her thoughtfulness and calm, capable demeanor immediately put me at ease. While we were away, Christina communicated with me every single day. She sent updates and reassurances that meant the world to me, and it was clear she was attentive and deeply invested in their wellbeing. She adapted to their individual needs, handled their energy with patience, and even carefully cared for the puppy when she got a small cut during play with her older sister. I always knew they were safe. Her home is also a wonderful environment for dogs—she has a large, secure fenced yard and a very thoughtful approach to introductions. She had a clear plan for introducing my dogs to hers and uses gates throughout the house so each dog can have space and quiet time when needed. It showed how experienced and intentional she is. When we returned home, our dogs were thrilled to see us—but it was obvious they had been happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. That is the greatest reassurance any pet owner could ask for. Leaving your dogs behind—especially rescues and a young puppy—is incredibly hard, but Christina made it possible. She is responsible, communicative, compassionate, and truly exceptional at what she does. I would trust her again without hesitation.

Waldi communicates very well. He knew where we were headed because we had done a meet and greet. We got a block away from Madeline's home and he started barking. We got out of the car and he literally dragged me to her front door. He was so excited to be there, to see her dog and to pull out all sorts of toys to play with, all of made me feel very comfortable leaving Waldi with Madeline. She communicated with me and sent me great photos of the dogs playing and napping together. I will definitely book Madeline in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
