“Anely was very informative, professional in taking care of our Siberian Husky, Orka. She sent us videos, photos, every time she took our pet for a walk and more while he is resting. She let us know about all the details, how much food our pet had, how much he slept.. I took my dog for a walk before leaving him with Anely. As soon as I dropped him off, he sat next to Anely on the porch and starting gazing the street. That there told me that Orka trusted Anely from the first minute. Also I could easily tell Anely was enjoying our pet's stay the whole time. On top of the detailed info she provided during the stay, these two things were very important for me. I strongly recommend, and will not hesitate to contact her next time we need someone to take care of our dog. Thank you!!”

“Marilyn was an absolute blessing! She accepted Smoky last minute after my original sitter canceled while I was here visiting from Florida for a family vacation. From the moment I met her, I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving him in her care. She kept me updated, sent pictures, took him on walks, and made sure he was happy and engaged. It was obvious Smoky truly enjoyed his time with her. She even told me he was such a joy and hated to see him leave, which meant so much to me and showed how much she truly cared for him. I truly appreciated the love and care she gave him. The next time I bring Smoky home, Marilyn will absolutely be my first and only choice. Highly recommend her!”

About: Se habla español! Hello there! My name is Devorat, but you can call me Debby. I’ve always loved animals and have spent most of my life caring for pets. I consider pets part of the family, and I know exactly how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your fur baby. I offer a highly attentive, safe, and loving environment in Cranston. My home has a fully fenced yard where your dog can run and play safely, and I am home to provide potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours. My family has a friendly 6 year old Goldendoodle named Toby, but he lives downstairs in a separate apartment. Because of this, my main living space is completely open and dedicated to my guest dogs! It is a really spacious & flexible place where multiple guest dogs can socialize and play together comfortably. Since I attend school virtually, I am home all day and pet care is my primary focus! Your pets will have constant company and plenty of attention. I am fully available for overnight boarding, fun doggy day care, and active neighborhood dog walking on both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!
“Yunshu did an amazing job dog sitting Theo! She kept me updated multiple times a day with pictures and detailed messages, which really put my mind at ease. Her whole family was incredibly welcoming and treated Theo like one of their own. She was also very flexible and understanding throughout the whole process. Plus, her neighborhood felt very safe, which was a big plus. I highly recommend Yunshu—Theo had a wonderful time! Thank you guys so much!!”

“Eve was really lovely, flexible, and communicative. We got updates daily and our dog always seemed like she was having a fantastic time! Would definitely ask to have our pup stay with her again!”

“Paige is friendly, professional and her lovely home is set up perfectly for pet sitting. She sent me daily updates including pictures of her kids loving up my precious pup. And while he didn't leave the house for walks, she has an adequate fenced in yard and he was able to come in and out of the house freely. I felt completely at ease knowing that he was well taken care of since she has 4 children who were all respectful and great kids!”

“Carolina is simply amazing. She is so accommodating and trustworthy. I had at least two updates, pictures, and videos of my little guy. Her family is wonderful, loving, and caring. I will be using her again on our next vacation.”

“Biggie had a wonderful stay with Sully and his his humans! Zach was patient while Biggie adjusted to the new environment and communicated thru text and pictures through the whole stay. This was my first time using River and will definitely refer Zach for friends or future trips!”

“Our dog, Noddle, is a cherished member of our family; Patricia treated him the same way. From the initial meeting, Patricia's genuine love of and experience with a variety of animals was obvious. Noodle took to her right away. From the photos including walks on the beach and playtime in addition to the messages she regularly sent us, we could tell that he was happy and pampered. We feel completely comfortable and enthusiastic recommending Patricia and will engage her again. She is great. Lucky Noodle. Lucky us.”

“This is the first time Mimi stayed with Ty and her family. Mimi seemed to settle in easily with the family. It is a bonus that she had the chance to spend time with Ty’s two children. All were kind and loving with her. I appreciated the daily updates and photos from Ty. Mimi is home sleeping on the sofa next to me. I would not hesitate to leave Mimi with Ty and her family, again.”

“Elba takes great care of my dog. I feel comfortable leaving her there while I’m at work and/or overnight. Would recommend her to anyone needing help with their dog!”

“Matthew took such excellent care of my dog over the weekend, he was attentive and gentle and gave my dog his all the medications that he needed. His love for cavaliers is a plus and I felt at ease leaving my dog under his care. I would easily recommend him for anyone who is looking for a dog sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West Warwick
I’m so grateful for the care they gave my dogs! It was clear they were well looked after and having fun. I really appreciated the quick responses to my messages—it made me feel at ease. Hearing that Hexxus had a blast with the kids and Bailey was enjoying cuddles made me so happy. I would absolutely recommend them and book again!

We left our dog, Whidbey, with Olga for two weeks while we were on vacation, and the experience was fantastic. From day one, she made us feel completely at ease. She and her family clearly love animals, and it showed in how well they cared for him. We received regular photos and updates, which was reassuring, and Whidbey came home happy, healthy, and relaxed. We couldn’t ask for better care. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
