About: I have lived with, raised, and cared for multiple dogs at once for my entire life. I have grown up with retrievers, shibas, Rhodesian ridgebacks, and all manner of rescues. As a dog sitter, I have walked, played with, and done multi-day overnights with all kinds of canines, from timid greyhounds to rambunctious collies. I lead an active lifestyle and take my shiba for at least three 2-mile walks each day, plus weekend hikes and trips to the dog park. I am a freelance writer, so I have a very flexible schedule. About: I am a current PhD student at Brown University with over a decade of experience caring for animals. I volunteered at my local humane society for a few years, working with both cats and dogs (including under-socialized animals). I have participated in numerous trainings and grew up surrounded by dogs and cats. I currently have a cat of my own named Gouda (he’s a typical orange cat!) who is my world.
