About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

Socialization is an important part of raising a dog so they develop emotional and behavioral skills that make them confident, well-adjusted and safe adapting to different environments. I have two loving dogs that are ready to play! I am currently working from home and available to care for your pup during the day along with my own. I maintain a schedule that enables frequent outdoor breaks and sometimes work outside for extra play time! I am also available for overnight boarding . I live on a double cul-de-sac in a quiet, private dog-friendly neighborhood and have a large yard with plenty of room to play. My neighborhood is low-traffic which makes taking dog walks easy and stress-free. I use an Invisible Fence with my two dogs and also have pet stakes and tie-out cables for supervised play.
