About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

“Sonia was wonderful watching my pup! She was extremely attentive with Bruno who is very much go-go-go and sometimes hard to keep up with. She sent daily updates including photos and videos. The fenced in yard was a blessing for Bruno who is obsessed with running around. Will be using Sonia again next time I travel.”

About: I’m not afraid of any dog, I have love for all dogs, even the misunderstood ones. Our dogs have passed now but the love isn’t gone. Im able to care for the young and old. Me and my mother in law are now double teaming this. More hands and bigger yard! I’m currently open availability but I need to be home at certain times to take care of my household duties and be home with my husband at the end of the day. But I have free times during the say where I can come over and keep your pet company, let them out to do their business and get some exercise before going back in to chill again. I’ll do whatever the owner tells me is best for their dog. All dogs have different personalities so it’s up to the owner to let me know what’s best for their routine
“Cherylee and Steven went above and beyond for my dog Clover and I while I was away. Being a travel nurse and first time Rover user, I was super nervous about the whole process, but they were so welcoming and accommodating to all of my pups need. Cherylee even went as far as to rescue us when my car broke down on the way to our meet and greet! I have an older pup with a lot of dietary and medication needs. They had absolutely no problem keeping his schedule and made sure to send me pictures and videos daily. I will definitely be a repeat client and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality caretaker for their fur babies! 🐶💕”

“Casey, Phil and their dog Chloe were absolutely fantastic with Penny, our 6 month old golden retriever puppy, for a week long stay. They sent us daily pictures and updates about how Penny was doing which really took the stress out of leaving her for the first time.
