“Dorota and Wayne are the BEST hosts ever!! Ricky loves going to stay with them! They have a HUGE yard where Ricky loves to play. They have wonderful dogs of their own who Ricky loves to play with. They're usually hosting a bunch of other great dogs, so it's always a big doggie party at their place!! They treat Ricky like one of their own, he has the run of their yard, their house, and their bedroom...he feels right at home!! About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I previously worked at Dog Mountain, a dog centered art gallery and off-leash haven, where I gained even more insight into canine behavior and safety. I have two dogs, that currently live in Vermont, both of which have faced serious medical issues that I’ve managed with calm, competent care. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets and I make sure to treat every animal as my own. I currently work part-time, which allows me the flexibility to offer frequent walks and attentive pet care. Being from Vermont, staying active and enjoying the outdoors is a daily priority for me, so your pets will always enjoy plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I’m primarily available for morning and afternoon walks, seven days a week. I miss my dogs and want a canine companion on my daily runs/walks! When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I offer everything from drop-in feedings and walks to overnight stays. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have cared for them my entire life. About: I have several years of experience in dog sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I have a yellow lab of my own, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with dogs and pets. I have had several pet service jobs in and around the towns I’ve lived in, and I’d be more than happy to provide references. I am both a responsible pet owner and a respectable pet lover. I have experience caring for dogs that require medication and attention, and I understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable about the person you are trusting with your pet. I have watched and taken care of dogs from the size of a Chihuahua to a very large Great Dane and Mastiff. I am very confident in my skills, and I hope to be given the opportunity to show you them as well. I am a full-time student, but my schedule is fairly open. I enjoy spending my time outside because my part-time job is inside, so I'd love to get out and walk dogs as often as possible! Additionally, my apartment does not allow for animals, so I’d love to be able to spend more time with furry friends! As a pet owner myself, the comfortability of your pet will be my highest priority.
