“Dorota and Wayne are the BEST hosts ever!! Ricky loves going to stay with them! They have a HUGE yard where Ricky loves to play. They have wonderful dogs of their own who Ricky loves to play with. They're usually hosting a bunch of other great dogs, so it's always a big doggie party at their place!! They treat Ricky like one of their own, he has the run of their yard, their house, and their bedroom...he feels right at home!! About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’m a lifelong dog person currently in Pawtucket, RI offering a cozy home, lots of walks, and a fully fenced yard. I grew up with dogs (poodle, terrier, and mostly pugs) and also shared a Brussels Griffon for several years, so I’m very comfortable with different sizes and personalities. I currently get most of my dog time by sitting for family and friends. I give preference to longer stays because it allows me to build a real bond with your dog and give them a more consistent routine. With more time together, they settle in and get more comfortable. If you’re planning a trip of several days or more, I’m an especially good fit. I work from home with a flexible schedule so can spend a good amount of time with your dog for walks and following their schedules. I have a fenced in yard to use in addition to walks. I don't have any rules about not being able to get on furniture (but if you do, will follow them of course).

It had to be done, don't judge me. I work permanently from home. I am a software engineer for a major financial services company. I can also offer to pick up and drop off occasionally for an additional fee. I've had emergency situations arise where pick up/drop off is extremely inconvenient and I get it. I usually accept two dogs for daycare and one for boarding. For daycare, your dog will be one of up to three dogs in the house since I take two dogs and also have my furbaby. If you want me to have only your dog during daycare, please message me in advance. For boarding, your dog will be one of two including my dog but up to three during the daytime. During both daycare and boarding, I am happy to take your dog to any grooming or veterinary visits for an additional fee if my schedule permits. Pick-ups/drop-offs are available for both daycare and boarding on a case by case basis. Let me know how frequently you want status pics. Are we talking frequently like hourly frequent or one a day frequent? Basically, whatever you need, let's talk about it. I gotchu, one crazy dog parent to another. I can accommodate any walking schedule because I don't have many meetings. I am also a big fan of family nap time and will snuggle with your furbaby during afternoon naps. Oh one more thing, I will realistically not leave your baby alone in the house at all. I think dogs who are boarded are typically anxious because they are away from mom/dad. I don't want to further exacerbate their anxiety by leaving them alone in a strange house and make them extra sad and anxious. If I do leave the house for dinner, I usually go to pet friendly places that have outdoor seating so your baby would ride along. See, I told you. I got ya!
About: I am a certified dog lover on both Rover and Wag . Meeting new and old dogs has become a great side business but also an awesome serotonin break for me. About: I am very experienced of Feeding, Giving medication and most of all giving love and attention to them. Especially while there loved ones are away! I am a senior retired from the post office and I am open to all hours. Would be great to get up and walk your pet. I do not have a fenced in area but plenty of woods where we can travel on a harness or leash so it would be secure
