“We had a great experience with Ciara. Hogan had never stayed with anyone but family and I was a little nervous since I was going away for 2 weeks. Ciara provided wonderful care and fun for Hogan and kept us informed of how he was doing and with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend.”

“Anne was amazing! So attentive and took in mind my dogs usual routine- and took extra great care of her! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her and would definitely recommend her.”

“Robert is wonderful—such a kind person. We left our dog with him for three days and could not have been happier. Every morning, he sent us a message about how Cookie was doing, along with a video. He took great care of her. Thank you so much, Robert! I trust him completely and will absolutely leave Cookie with him again whenever we need to travel.”

“Longest trip I have left Jackson with someone for since I adopted him over 2 years ago. Just like every other time he’s stayed over Kenny & Kaylan’s, he is spoiled and has a blast!!”

“This is the first time Mimi stayed with Ty and her family. Mimi seemed to settle in easily with the family. It is a bonus that she had the chance to spend time with Ty’s two children. All were kind and loving with her. I appreciated the daily updates and photos from Ty. Mimi is home sleeping on the sofa next to me. I would not hesitate to leave Mimi with Ty and her family, again.”

“Our dog had a great time with Emilee and her family. Emilee was very attentive to our boy's specific needs. Emilee was very easy to communicate with and sent regular updates and photos during his visit. We look forward to using Emilee for pet sitting services in the future!”

“Alyssa was the first time I ever hired a pet sitter 😊. I was super impressed!! Willow is a rescue we only had about a month, so we were concerned about having her get nervous and anxious in a new environment and away from us. Alyssa kept us updated on my Willow's stay - pictures and prose. We were so relieved to see Willow getting along so well with Alyssa. Willow came back content, and we were so happy to have found Alyssa!! Your pets will be so lucky to have Alyssa care for them; do not hesitate in the least. You will see for yourself what a loving and codependent care she gives them !”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was 10. Family and friends both always rely on me because of my caring nature for animals. My patience and care show up for animals. I work from home and my job is not demanding so i have free time to take care and watch over cats and dogs ! My complex has a fenced area specifically for dogs to play and its a gated community, but leashes are a must outside of the fenced area.
“Emily helped me out on short notice in a very stressful moving situation. i can’t thank her enough for the wonderful care she gave to my brothers three extremely scared cats. i highly recommend Emily.”

About: Welcome to your pet's home away from home! We are happy to provide a safe, comfortable family environment where pets are treated like part of the family. We have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and are comfortable caring for large and extra-large breeds. Whether your dog loves playtime, walks, or simply relaxing around the house, we'll do our best to keep them happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine. You'll receive regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands. As a small business owner who works 100% remotely, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will have a consistent, comfortable environment during their stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood that is great for walks. We also have a friendly 4-year-old Labrador who enjoys the company of other dogs and helps visiting pets feel at home. Our family includes young children who love animals and have been taught how to interact with pets safely, respectfully, and appropriately. We understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, and we work to create a calm, welcoming environment where they can feel secure, loved, and part of the family.
“Sierra is great! She was so communicative while we were out of town. She made sure our pup was well taken care of and was gentle in letting him acclimate to her house and other dogs. We’re so happy to have found her!”

About: I have several years of experience in dog sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I have a yellow lab of my own, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with dogs and pets. I have had several pet service jobs in and around the towns I’ve lived in, and I’d be more than happy to provide references. I am both a responsible pet owner and a respectable pet lover. I have experience caring for dogs that require medication and attention, and I understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable about the person you are trusting with your pet. I have watched and taken care of dogs from the size of a Chihuahua to a very large Great Dane and Mastiff. I am very confident in my skills, and I hope to be given the opportunity to show you them as well. I am a full-time student, but my schedule is fairly open. I enjoy spending my time outside because my part-time job is inside, so I'd love to get out and walk dogs as often as possible! Additionally, my apartment does not allow for animals, so I’d love to be able to spend more time with furry friends! As a pet owner myself, the comfortability of your pet will be my highest priority. Though I am unable to care for your animals in my home, I will always be respectful of your space and ensure your animal’s safety and security at all times while in my care.
“Charlie spent two weeks with Lisa and was so comfortable and well taken care of. We were able to fully log offline and relax knowing he was in good hands! Multiple daily updates with photos and occasional videos. Charlie is a senior dog with separation anxiety so we were very worried about leaving him for so long and finding a sitter who would accommodate his joint problems and medication needs. Lisa was great about his routine and attentive to our requests!”

“Marcia and her husband were wonderful with my golden retriever Theo. I got lots of updates and he got lots of cuddles, walks, and playtime. He came home happy and tired - thank you!!”

“Carolina is simply amazing. She is so accommodating and trustworthy. I had at least two updates, pictures, and videos of my little guy. Her family is wonderful, loving, and caring. I will be using her again on our next vacation.”

About: As a devoted dog mom to my adorable 10-year-old Yorkiepoo, Nyla Girl, I understand the importance of finding the right caregiver for your furry family members. My passion for pets goes beyond just sitting; I provide a loving and safe environment where your pets can thrive. With years of experience, I offer personalized care tailored to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether it’s playful walks, cuddly snuggles, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Let me pamper your pets while you’re away! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life. I’m a proud dog mom to Nyla, who is crate trained and comfortable when I’m away. I make it a priority to come home during my lunch break to take her for a midday walk, ensuring she gets the exercise and fresh air she needs. Our walks are a special time for us to bond, and in the evenings, we enjoy quality moments together, whether it's playing or relaxing at home. I’m dedicated to providing a nurturing and attentive environment for all pets, ensuring they feel loved and well cared for while in my care. I prioritize the safety of Nyla and any other dogs in my care. My home is pet-proofed, with potential hazards such as toxic plants, small objects, and harmful chemicals securely out of reach. I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can play safely, allowing them to enjoy the outdoors without the risk of wandering off. I never leave Nyla or other dogs unattended, ensuring constant supervision during playtime and walks. I use a sturdy leash and harness for added security during walks and always monitor their interactions to ensure they are positive and stress-free. By maintaining a clean and organized environment, I focus on providing a loving atmosphere where all pets can thrive.
“Vanessa was great. She provided excellent care and kept me updated with photos and information on how Bailey was doing. I would definitely use her again and recommend her highly.”

“Gilbert took great care of our black lab mix, Ember! She’s high energy and can be a lot sometimes, but Gilbert and his sweet pup Moon kept her entertained and happy! Recommend 100%!! Thank you so much Gilbert.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Attleboro
Luke was great! He touched base with me and listened to my instructions for Cocoa. Cocoa seems to have enjoyed herself. I will definitely be reaching out to Luke again in the future. He was very pleasant and nice. His house was clean and the yard well cared for. Jack his dog was friendly and wanted to play. Cocoa's tail was wagging before I left.

Our dog just loves playing with Benji and Duchess and is so happy to be here. I love how comfortable she is and really appreciate the proactive communication from the hosts which helps us not be worried about our fur baby while away on a trip or vacation. Really love it here

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
