About: Ive spent my entire life around dogs and cats, both at home and at work. I have experience working in a veterinary setting, and I currently work part time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility. I have a well rounded experience working with cats and dogs, but I've also got experience with reptiles, fish, and amphibians! I usually work evening shifts, so my mornings are always open. I'll have plenty of time to come by and spend time with your pets before work. It's very important to make sure that beyond just getting basic needs met, that I always have time to spoil your pets! Animals deserve love, and when you're away, they deserve it doubly so.

“We're repeat bookers of Bri's drop-in visits with our cat and we returned home to a well-cared for and happy cat. Bri is great. She stays in touch during her visits so we always have an idea of how our little buddy is doing, and she's very responsive if we have questions or a special request. We recommend Bri without hesitation!”

About: Hi my name is Neriah and I'm a second year college student at CCRI. I've had dogs ever since I was 6. I currently have one dog named Apollo. I also have 3 cats. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet sat for a family friend who has three dogs. During that time, I was responsible for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and making sure they felt comfortable and safe while their owner was away. I have also gained a couple of clients through Rover that have rebooked with me outside of Rover. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I make it a priority to follow owners' instructions carefully. I am dependable, patient, and committed to providing pets with the attention, care, and affection they deserve. Whether your pet enjoys active playtime or simply needs companionship, I will treat them as if they were my own. Experience Includes: Daily feeding and fresh water Walks and exercise Potty breaks Playtime and companionship Caring for multiple pets at once Following specific schedules and routines Monitoring pets for safety and well-being Providing updates to owners I currently work part-time Saturday through Monday, which gives me plenty of availability during the week to care for your pets. I am available for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day on weekdays. On workdays, I can stop by before my shift in the morning and again after work in the evening to make sure your pets are well cared for and comfortable. I am committed to following your pet's routine and providing reliable, attentive care so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the care instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications (if needed), and any special requirements. I take the time to learn each pet's personality and needs so they can feel comfortable and secure while you're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's home. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, plenty of attention, and appropriate exercise and playtime. I also keep doors and gates secure and monitor pets closely during walks and outdoor time. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else's care. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to providing updates and communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I've been dogsitting for friends for the past few years! I've loved dogs and would love to continue spending more time with them! Always eager to help people and make dogs feel loved! I work in ministry and have a flexible schedule. I'm not free all the time, but can be really flexible depending on the season! Always down to have a conversation to iron out details! I have only cared for pets in other people's homes. I follow whatever guidelines, instructions, or rules that pet owners give me. I want to make sure their pets are on their regular schedules and are loved!
About: I've taken care of dogs of different ages and all different types. I always meet them where they are at and work with their needs to the best of my ability. My schedule is pretty wide open at the moment so I'm able to do some house sitting/pet sitting as well as walks. Just let me know what your animal's needs are and I'm sure I can accommodate. I am happy to meet any expectations of the owner and adjusting my care based on the uniqueness of the animal I'm caring for. Whatever their normal routine is, I'm happy to maintain that and anything else needed.
“Brittany took wonderful care of our big Choco lab, Hopey! She can be barky on walks (gentle giant), but Brittany always takes great care of her. Lots of play and cuddles too! Thanks, Brittany!”

About: I have spent my life with dogs and cats, caring for and raising them, and loved every minute. I would love to run with your dog or lounge with your cat! I will be working 8-5 every week day, but would happily walk or play with your pets any time around that. I am also available weekends. I will not be able to have pets in my home, but I will happily visit yours! I will keep them in your yard if you wish, and always use a lease. Whatever is best!
“Madelin is absolutely wonderful. We’ve booked her multiple times and are so pleased. Our pup is always happy and relaxed when she’s taking care of her. We’ll definitely be rebooking whenever we need help. Highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn was amazing! She kept me updated and took excellent care of my puppy. This was my first time to use an online pet sitter. I was really anxious about leaving him. Kaitlyn took all of the worry out of the process. I would highly recommend her for your pets. If I’m back in Providence, I will definitely book with her again.”

“Molly is fantastic! My husband and I booked her for a week of drop in visits while we were traveling and I have never felt more comfortable leaving my animals in anyone else's care! She is responsive, pays attention to details, and gave our pups the individual attention they craved and needed while we were gone. She sends great pictures and videos and I could tell from those pictures that my animals all loved her, including my cats! She gave us textual updates on how the animals were doing and knew when to spend more time with one dog vs the other if they seemed to be getting a little stressed with us being gone. We have one senior Pomeranian who is diabetic, and then an almost 3 year old high energy border collie and we felt 100% comfortable leaving them in her care. We already booked our next set of drop in dates with Molly and look forward to booking with her again in the future!”

About: Hello! My name is Valeria & I am a 19 yr old college student at RIC. I have been pet-sitting since I was 15 years old. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish & bunnies. My college classes are in the day time from Monday through Thursday starting the end of August with gaps in between classes so I can do drop by visits & evening pet sitting care. I always ensure that leashes are not too long so dogs do not wander off. I take dogs out for potty breaks according to the schedule you provide or as needed.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. I am currently working a part time job and I’m about to leave for college and need some extra hours. I don’t mind if it’s miles or just down the street. I personally don’t care if I have to go in someone’s house just want their stuff to be out so I don’t have to go through there stuff.
“First time using this app!! Latifa was fantastic, I felt at ease knowing that my cats were taken care . I was given daily check ups and pics. I would highly recommend using Rover & LATIFA A.”

About: Hi there! I hope we can work together one day. I have taken care of friends dogs. I have done some sitting with a friend! I work M-F 8:30AM-5:30PM (NOTE: all drop off’s / pick up will have to be before of after these hours) I can be available after work and on weekends. I typically Like to be home or doing local activities so I will have time I care for pets like mini humans. Many pets have their own personalities and characteristics so I’d want to make adjustments to accommodate them :)

About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.
About: I've had a dog in my life for the major majority of it. I've had 2 Shitzus, a German Shephard and an Akita. Quite the range. I traveled across the country with an Akita and that was such a great experience. I am very patient by nature and will care for you furry friend and give them all my attention and love. I have a somewhat flexible schedule. There are 3, sometimes 4 days a week where I’d be away for 6-7 hours. I like to be as transparent on everything. I’m not concerned about the dog having an accident in the house, it’s more of making sure they won’t be overly stressed out or anxious at that amount of time. I have a very secure fenced in yard that your pet will enjoy. There is a park directly across the street as well and I will also walk your dog around the Elmhurst neighborhood. I have a modest sized home with hardwood floors. Your pup is allowed on the furniture if its ok with you. A tired dog is a happy dog and I plan to play with your dog inside and outside the home. Your dog(s) or cat(s) will be my top priority. Other than work a few days a week which is stated above I’d be spending plenty of time playing and relaxing with your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and live in a safe neighborhood. I have outdoor camera security system as well. I will take great care of your pet.
About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life, I've raised puppies and kittens and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! I also work for All Tails R Wagging in Foxboro MA, walking several dogs a day and doing companion visits! I am quite experienced in pet care for many different animals including reptiles, birds, and rodents. I also service disabled pets or pets with behavioral issues. I have my regular dog walking job M-F from 9am-12pm, but other than that you can find my schedule extremely flexible for weekends, holidays, and more. I am very sensitive to each individual pet's needs including medical conditions requiring medication, and other conditions like separation anxiety. If you have a highly energetic one, I will be out in the yard playing often, or walking them for a long time. For cats, they can get the space they sometimes want, or they can cuddle up on me for hours. I have cleaned up a myriad of messes quite successfully as well, haha.

I’m very pleased with Samantha service. I was always informed about anything, any changes or behaviors with my dear 4 paws daughter. I definitely would hire Samantha again. She went above and beyond. Example: I told her that she didn’t necessarily need to take my Sam for walks but she asked if she could, I said that It was all up to her. my daughter loved it!!!

Jessica was fantastic with Lucky! From the moment he saw her at the meet and greet, they immediately clicked. I hired her to come twice a day and she always went above and beyond sending photos of Lucky throughout her visits. He always looked like he was having a great time while she was over. She took him on walks, played with him, and really kept him engaged. I'm always sad when I leave Lucky for a few days, but having Jessica there to keep him company eased my nervousness completely. Would have her watch him again in a heartbeat.

Lila was wonderful with Snickers. She was very prompt and did everything I asked with his crazy senior dog behaviors. She’s sweet and loves dogs, it’s obvious with her interaction when she met my dog. It was also quite a last-minute booking, and she really helped us out that way.

We had a great experience with Noah caring for our 2 dogs Luna and Woody. He did a meet and greet first to learn each dogs individual personalities. Noah communicated well during their visits with updates. He also offered to feed my pet turtles and filled my outdoor bird bath.

Annemarie was wonderful for our two drop-in visits! She was professional, reliable, and clearly very comfortable with our dogs. We came home to happy, well cared for pups and really appreciated the updates and peace of mind while we were away. She followed all instructions, was attentive to their needs, and made the whole process feel easy. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for dependable and caring pet care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
