“Super reliable and very easy to work with. Very responsive with communication. My cats looked very happy in photos and when I came back home. Kaitlin did a great job taking care of my kitties!”

“We had the best cat sitter experience with Jules! She is an excellent communicator, shared ample photos, and gave a thorough update on each of our cats. She made our cat crew feel safe and respected around her and even coaxed our shy cat out from her hidey hole. In addition to feeding/water/litter, she made time to bond with them through play with wand toys. Our cats are looking forward to their next visit with Jules, already booked!”

“Can not say enough about Heath!!! The absolute best friend Pickles & Peanut has ever had!!! Never have a worry when we are away for the love that is shown to them is amazing!!!!! WE LOVE YOU 😻😻❤️”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life: dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, you name it! My smallest dog ever was a chihuahua and my largest is a cane corso. My home was also a foster home and we had many litters of puppies and kittens come through on their way to their forever families! I work full time so I am primarily available on weekends, but I do work from home once a week if you need a last minute walk or check in on a pet! I am happy to take your pet outside, feed them, play with them, go for a walk or to get some exercise! I am unable to take them in my home but happy to work with you to fit you and your pet’s needs.
About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. I’ve always had pets in my life, especially cats, and I’ve been caring for them since I was a kid. Growing up, I also helped watch my neighbors’ pets whenever they needed an extra hand. Now, I’m a proud dog mom to Bonnie, a sweet Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix I share with my partner. Because she’s our first dog, we dove deep into research—while at Brown, we studied canine behavior and body language to better understand how dogs communicate and what they need to feel safe and happy. That knowledge has been invaluable in helping us welcome pet guests into our home. When your pets stay with us, they’ll be treated just like Bonnie—with cuddles, love, fun walks, playtime, and plenty of care. My goal is always to make them feel at home, comfortable, and loved. My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to walk, feed, play with, and cuddle your pets throughout the day. Whether they need extra attention, long walks, or just companionship, I’m here to make sure they always feel cared for. The first priority for me when caring for animals is safety. I pay close attention to the environment and make sure pets are always comfortable and secure. For dogs, I have a safe yard where they can play, take potty breaks, or just relax outside. I also live in a very pet-friendly neighborhood, perfect for safe walks and trips to the park. For cats, my home is equipped with window protection so they can’t slip outside (unless they are leash-trained or outdoor cats whose owners prefer outside time). I always respect each owner’s preferences—whether that means leash walks, indoor-only care, or a specific routine. If not in my own house, it's my pleasure to go to the owners house to take care of the cats! I will check the whole house to make sure everything is in order, clean everything, feed, hang out and play with the little ones! I pay attention to each animal’s unique needs. I believe communication is key, so I’ll always ask questions and keep in touch to make sure we’re on the same page.

“Second time utilizing Crystal’s services and she totally rocks. Definitely put my mind at ease that my cats were in good hands while I was traveling and greatly appreciated the daily updates and pictures!”

“Kaitlyn was wonderful with my shy, retiring cat. She knows how kitties work and was able to entice her out. She was easy to connect with and gave great updates to make the fur Mom happy. I will be booking her again.”

“Carse was great with my two boys, even getting my shy guy out and rolling around on his back for belly rubs by the second visit. She was great and I’ll definitly re-book with her.”

About: I've been dogsitting for friends for the past few years! I've loved dogs and would love to continue spending more time with them! Always eager to help people and make dogs feel loved! I work in ministry and have a flexible schedule. I'm not free all the time, but can be really flexible depending on the season! Always down to have a conversation to iron out details! I have only cared for pets in other people's homes. I follow whatever guidelines, instructions, or rules that pet owners give me. I want to make sure their pets are on their regular schedules and are loved!

“Alex is amazing!! She took care of our dog Skippy and cat Boo last night and we are so thankful for her. Our dog was comfortable with her immediately. Alex left the best notes and sent pictures during the drop in which left us feeling so relaxed while away from home. We won’t hesitate to request her again and again!!”

About: I love all animals, especially dogs, and I am very responsible. I have watched dogs while babysitting toddlers and I have a cat of my own. I am currently in graduate school and I take classes from morning to the afternoon, however I can be flexible around that schedule! Feel free to message me if you need other hours as I can adjust my availability on Saturday-Mondays! Having a cat of my own, I am very responsible and respectful towards animals and I will never put them or myself at risk for any harm. I love dogs and have experience caring for one as I love to play with them and take my boyfriends dog for walks often!
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs since I was a kid. Mainly molosser breeds. I’m a very active person so high energy dogs are more than welcome. I can assist with teaching basic commands such as sit, stay, lay, leave it, and recall commands. Things you can expect under my care: walks, runs, and training if needed and requested. If given permission, dog parks and occasional trips to the beach depending on the weather and time under my care. I work full time Monday through Friday 5am-3:30pm so I recommend booking for the weekend for long stays. Shorter stays can be made during weekends between 3:30pm-6:30pm (length of care Monday-Friday may be negotiated) Care will be primarily conducted out in town as I do not have a yard. If home pets will be crated with scheduled potty times.
About: Hi! I’m a reliable pet sitter based in Providence, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up always being around dogs and cats—walking them, feeding them, and helping take care of their daily routines. Being with animals has always felt natural to me, not just something I do, but something I genuinely enjoy. Over the years, I’ve had different kinds of hands-on experiences that taught me a lot about animal care. I’ve cared for a cat that had a litter of kittens, helped raise and look after them, and learned what it takes to keep both mom and babies safe and comfortable. I’ve also been an animal foster caregiver, which gave me experience adjusting quickly to different personalities, routines, and needs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with all kinds of pets—whether they’re shy, playful, older, or need a little extra attention. I understand how important it is to be patient, consistent, and to follow instructions closely so pets feel secure in their environment. My goal is always to show up calm, caring, and dependable, and to make sure every pet I look after feels safe and every owner feels at ease while they’re away. Caring for pets fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I enjoy building time into my schedule to walk, check on, and spend time with animals, and I’m flexible enough to adjust around each pet’s needs. I like being consistent, so pet care becomes a steady part of my week that I can commit to fully and responsibly. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow all instructions exactly as given so pets stay on their normal routine. I focus on keeping them comfortable with feeding, water, litter or walks, and giving them attention so they feel safe while their owner is away. I also make sure to respect the home and leave everything clean and organized. If pets are in my care at my home, I make sure they are in a calm, safe environment where they can relax, stay on their usual schedule, and feel comfortable and secure.
“I contacted Hana pretty last minute and she scheduled a meet and greet right away. Even offered to help with my mom's dogs upstairs. Hana was professional, sweet, caring, responsible and kept in contact with me my whole vacation with updates of my cat. I was so happy and felt at ease with Hana taking care of Romeo. I will definitely contact her again for the future. Thanks again for taking such good care of my fur baby!”

About: I've been caring for pets for over 15 years. My family had two dogs while I was growing up, and I was responsible for feeding them, taking them on walks, and bringing them to their grooming appointments. After moving abroad for school, I adopted two rescue cats from a local shelter and have cared for them ever since by myself. I stay on top of their annual wellness exams and vaccinations, introduce new foods to keep their meals interesting, bathe them when needed, spend lots of time playing with them, and even take them on walks occasionally. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm currently a graduate student, so my schedule depends on my work, but I'm usually available around lunchtime and in the evenings after 5–6 PM (or nights if necessary). My schedule is generally more flexible on weekends. Because of my lab work, I'm better suited for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting rather than full-time boarding. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I will carefully follow each owner's feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special care requests. I take time to learn each pet's personality and never force interactions if they're shy or nervous (I have a shy cat so I know how it works). I will also provide regular updates with photos and messages, so you'll always know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: Animal lover, happy to take your dog on an adventure and get them the exercise they deserve! I have 2 dogs myself who love to play with any and all other dogs. We love going on walks together and I’d love to give your dog a similar experience! While in my care, I will treat your dog as one of my own, and give them a bunch of treats in the process (as long as you're okay with it of course). I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. To be specific, early mornings, evenings, or weekends work best, but I could make other times work with communication. I have two dogs, one small and one large, so I’m experienced in caring for all types of dogs. I will be sure to keep in touch with you regularly.
About: I have taken care of my personal dogs for 10+ years. I have dog sat for family and friends for many years. I also have been relied upon to feed, walk, bathe, exercise, train and play my own dogs and relatives dogs when they have gone away. I also just recently raised a American staffie puppy and a shepherd mix puppy! I am super efficient and great with dog/puppy training and working with them on learning how to listen and walk on a leash. I take care of my own personal dog every day. I take her for a morning walk, feed her, give her her allergy medications, and play with her. Throughout the day I take her out or to a park to run around in a safe enclosed environment to do some training and recall practice with her. After dinner I’ll take her for another walk and do a bit more training with her. I love taking her and family members dogs for daily walks because I love working with dogs and getting outside myself! I would care for a clients dog the same way I’d care for my own pup! Taking them on safe daily walks when it’s not too hot outside for their paw safety and to make sure from overheating. I’d bring water and treats as well to work on training and healing. If available I’d continue training and playing with then in the backyard if available or s safe secure space like a baseball field that can be locked. I would never take my own dog or anyone else’s dogs to a dog park!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Providence
Grace had a challenging experience with my dog because Maui is so anxious/not good at welcoming and trusting others. However, Grace was patient, kind, and persistent (thankfully!) I was away for almost 4 days and during that time, Grace managed to gain my dog’s trust enough so that he could be cared for properly. It took lots of effort and I am grateful she didn’t give up on him! Ty Grace!

Nicole is very professional and trustworthy and did an amazing job with both of my dogs. I love the pictures that she had sent as well and the follow ups every time she came to visit. Both Dogs and I will look forward to using Nicole again- they were very happy when we returned!

Crystal has been the BEST! She is great with my dog (who is a handful) and has been reliable and easy to work with. She managed all my detailed instructions graciously while i was on vacation. Great communication and I felt totally happy and comfortable my pup was in good hands.

After almost 12 years of only using family members to watch our pup, we found ourselves needing to hire a sitter for the first time. We were SO nervous but from the second we met Mae we knew we were leaving our dog in good hands. My favorite part was the detailed reports of her visit with so many pictures of our shy dog enjoying herself. We will absolutely use Mae again and recommend her to anyone needing a calm, professional, and animal loving dog sitter. You can tell she is passionate about her job and that is exactly what I was looking for when searching for a Rover sitter. Thank you Mae!!

Our doggie looked sooo happy and rested when I got back & I know that’s b/c of J’s care. We have an older elderly dog with unique medical needs. This is the sitter you want their patience and care was excellent. Looking forward to rebooking them soon very soon indeed.

Emily is SO fabulous with my senior retired service dog Miss Lana! She is a big girl and has arthritis, but Emily knows how to help us, and even when Lana has some accidents indoors (I mean she is 15!! lol) she was so kind and cleaned up as well. She is an excellent communicator too, and takes lots of good doggy pictures for this mom who misses her girl!! Thank you Emily 💗🤩
