Pet care experience
Compassionate care, medical exp. 💉
⭐️ Welcome pet parents! This is my full-time job, please read my profile before reaching out with a request ⭐️ No longer accepting RECURRING weekly walk/drop-in clients! First and foremost, obviously, I love dogs (except I can't let my darling cat, Miss Cleopatra, know that of course...). Cats occupy a very special place in my heart as well, and, while I’ve never owned any other type of animal, I don’t discriminate against small animals, reptiles, birds, or fish either! I am so thrilled to have the means to run what initially began as a passion project/side hobby as a full-time business! I am fully prepared to extend all my love and care to your beloved pets whenever you may need it and have the seasoned experience to troubleshoot nearly any animal-related situation whether it’s something minor like your pet missing you, being wary of newcomers, or even something much larger like a medical emergency. Additionally, I have deep experience with administering animal medications (oral as well as injectable) and closely monitoring any warning signs/symptoms of disease. I'm ready to cuddle, talk to, AND run laps with your furry friends and I can promise you they‘ll be treated as if they are my own. I’ve been doing pet care for over 8 years professionally in multiple cities and can genuinely say I enjoy heading out to work every day, which shows in my attention to detail and strong work ethic. I love all animals equally, but I specialize in providing above-and-beyond care and compassion to senior dogs and cats as well as particularly shy dogs and cats. I am not afraid of looking silly if it means putting a client’s pet at ease…in fact that’s probably how I came to be called Dr. Doolittle in my own family, haha! No request is out of the question if it guarantees your pet’s happiness while in my care. I can absolutely assure you I’ve seen it all over my several years in this business! While this may be a fun job, it is still a JOB and I do treat it as such. I strive to be professional, reliable, and communicative through all bookings no matter how short or long the stay.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is of the utmost importance to me, and that works both ways— your pet’s safety as well as my own physical safety. I truly strive for your pet to never experience any loneliness or separation anxiety which is why I do try my best to minimize time spent away from them during a house sitting and do not book multiple overnight clients at one time. During drop-in visits and walks, I am always right there supervising (even if you have a fenced backyard for dogs!) to ensure all animals are accounted for and safe. I pride myself on being very observant at any booking I do and I’m especially watchful of any pets that are on medications, young puppies, or seniors.
Ratings and reviews
Bri kept our kitties happy, healthy, and entertained during a long trip away. We actually think they are a little disappointed the day after we come home when they realize Bri is not still coming over to play.

Another fantastic visit with Bri! It was such a relief knowing Max was in good hands while we were away. She was friendly, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable. We came home to a content, well-cared-for cat and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely book with Bri again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Bri is the best! Your pets will be in good hands with Bri!
Bri was absolutely wonderful !!!!! She cared for my sisters cats for almost 1 month. The cats immediately were friendly with Bri which was a surprise! I can’t say enough positive things but all I know is that Bri is the best! She provided daily updates and pictures for each visit. I am giving Bri 5 stars but she really deserves 10!
We hired Bri to take care of our cat for 6 days while we were away on vacation. Our cat isn’t the friendliest with most people and definitely proved to be a challenge. We appreciate the effort Bri made taking care of our cat however in the future we would probably choose to hire someone with more confidence and experience with anxious cats. Our cat was definitely very frightened during the visits and we were told she would try to attack Bri’s legs when she tried to enter the apartment. This resulted in Bri being afraid to enter which is understandable. However, because of this, the pet care instructions and pre-portioned food and water of our cat’s usual diet were not accessible to Bri and did not end up being used. She did buy her own wet food, treats and bottled water that she put right inside the front door to make sure our cat got what she needed, so the effort is definitely there. We also had daily updates from Bri about each visit and hoped things would improve each time but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. When we got home, we ended up finding a lot of dried vomit on several carpets which we assume was due to our cat eating a different diet than she’s used to while also being extremely anxious. Since nobody’s been fully in the apartment for a week it’s probably been there for a while. Again we do appreciate the effort, but next time we will vet someone out who regularly deals with aggressive cats. Overall, Bri was great given the situation and she’d be the perfect pet sitter for 99% of pets. Unfortunately I think our cat is part of that 1%.

Bri is outstanding: so reliable, an amazing communicator, flexible, kind, and most importantly our pups are so comfortable with her. We came home from our 4-day trip and our dogs were super calm and well cared for! Thank you so much, Bri!!!

Schedule
DROP-INS/DOG WALKS: I take drop-in and dog walking clients from 7 am to 10 pm and my daily schedule for that varies. Sometimes I have super packed days (my full capacity right now is about 13-15 visits in a day), other times I have more flexible, open availability. For medication administrations I, of course, adhere to the specific time or timeframe given to me but for other visits that aren’t so time sensitive, due to the nature of my schedule often being a full work day of clients wanting similar times, I will often offer a wider timeframe that I may arrive in based on whatever makes most sense driving-wise on that given day while also keeping everyone’s original time preferences in mind. HOUSE SITTING: I generally leave any overnight house sittings a few times a day to feed my own cat and attend to other walk/drop-in clients. Typically this looks something like: 8:30-11:30 out of the house, afternoon hanging out in the house or out for shorter periods, 6-8:30/9 out of the house. I try to guarantee at least 10-12 hours overnight in addition to adhering as closely as possible to your pet’s regular feeding/walk schedule. I’m rarely away for more than 3-4 hours at a time but would explicitly discuss that with you beforehand if that were going to be the case. During a house sitting I treat your home as my new home base and I am there in any remaining free time I may have for the duration of the booking. I do try to schedule my additional drop-ins and walks lighter on days that I house sit although this is not always possible in busier seasons. Though I do spend a lot of time at any house sitting I do, it is important to note that I am not able to take on constant care house sitting bookings (where the animals *cannot* be left for those 3-4 hour chunks) at this time due to the constantly fluctuating, full-time nature of my day-to-day schedule.
