About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Growing up I always had a dog or two. I've been working at a dog daycare facility professionally for 8 years. During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. Since the facility is cage-free, I dedicate myself to ensuring the dogs have fun, are safe, and love in our care. About: My husband and I will both be taking care of your pup. We both grew up with multi-dog households and fully embrace the 'pets as family' way of life. Our seven year old herding dog is our constant companion and his cat sister is not far behind. With new dogs in the house, she tends to just keep to herself on the bottom floor of the house so dogs not good with cats are not a problem. We walk our dog at least twice a day. It is not our style to simply let him out back to do his business. While at our house, your dog(s) can also count on a solo or shared walk at least twice a day with "let outs" in between. Our dog's food is homemade as we have been through the allergy cycle with our pup too many times. This makes us very comfortable with and understanding of varied eating habits and dietary needs. We are comfortable administering medications if need be. We would LOVE your pup to snuggle on the couch or curl up in bed with us as our own prefers to simply guard the herd. We started really dog sitting for friends and family when we were still living in an apartment but now that we have a house to ourselves, it has been easier to open our doors up to more pups and more often at that. We have had senior dogs on medications, young pups in the midst of crate training, wildly active athletic types, food guarding growlers, and snuggle pups who sleep under the covers with us. Tony co-owns a business so has flexible hours and Emily is a local teacher with lunch breaks that allow for popping home to let the dog out during the week. If we go away it is mostly within New England to see family and have used Rover ourselves and loved it. At night and on the weekends you can find us curled up at home.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5. I currently have two dogs one 8 and one 7 at my parents home where I currently live. My brother and sister in law also have two dogs 2 and 1 years old. When my parents and them travel, I am in charge of the 4 of them at my house and we are all on a routine where everything is under control and still having fun. When needed, I do go to my brothers to take them for a walk and play with them to break up their day of being in the house. I am currently part time worker, so I have more free time during the week and figured I could use my time to help out dog lovers like yourself! For dog walking, I will follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet and yourself are satisfied with my job. I will be safe but fun at the same time making sure your pets are cared for properly.
“Brook has come to my 2x in a row now and will be coming a 3rd time tomorrow. All short notice. I have a very active puppy that is nippy and she done a great job. Unfortunately he has been sick and he did throw up his lunch and Brook took the time to text me and clean it up. She definitely went out of her way. I got my puppy 4 weeks ago and been working at home but with some work emergencies I been going into the office for 8 hr day and need someone to give my boy a bathroom break. I recommend Brook. Always on time. Playful with my puppy from what I can see on my puppy camera as well.”
About: I've had pets since the moment I was born! I've had just about every kind of house pet you can think of and seen just about every stage of life they go through. I couple years ago we got our youngest dog and had to go through the training process with him which definitely wasn't the easiest but with hard work we got through. Our last dog went through some tough seniors years and our lab is just about starting hers. I currently have 5 pets so I have pet care to take care of morning to night. Right now this includes multiple bathroom breaks, 2 feeding periods, water refills, and so on. All pet's are different so I have quite the list over experience. I can monitor pets in a fenced in space, walk pets whether they are still being leashed trained or already are, being I've had 3 dogs at this point and have been around many in the family business I am very good at giving commands, etc.
About: I've taken care of dogs of different ages and all different types. I always meet them where they are at and work with their needs to the best of my ability. My schedule is pretty wide open at the moment so I'm able to do some house sitting/pet sitting as well as walks. Just let me know what your animal's needs are and I'm sure I can accommodate. I am happy to meet any expectations of the owner and adjusting my care based on the uniqueness of the animal I'm caring for. Whatever their normal routine is, I'm happy to maintain that and anything else needed.
