He took great care of her. Thank you so much, Robert! I trust him completely and will absolutely leave Cookie with him again whenever we need to travel.”

“Thank you, Karen, for taking such good care of Marley! You are so easy to work with and flexible with scheduling. The accommodations were so “ homey” it was like she was in her own home. She enjoyed Guinness, your dog, it’s good she had another dog to play with. Thank you, again!!”

“Karen was absolutely wonderful with our girl Gracie. We have never left her with anyone before. Karen made sure we had a meet and greet to make sure Gracie and Karen’s pups and cats got along. She sent pictures and updates everyday! Also gave me some suggestions on how to deal with her “accidents” in the house. We will definitely use Karen again as Gracie was so comfortable with her and her fur babies. We loved her!!”

“She dropped my pup off in a pinch when I realized I had a tire issue. She took great care of him as always. Never using another sitter! Thank you so much!”

“Alyssa was the first time I ever hired a pet sitter 😊. I was super impressed!! Willow is a rescue we only had about a month, so we were concerned about having her get nervous and anxious in a new environment and away from us. Alyssa kept us updated on my Willow's stay - pictures and prose. We were so relieved to see Willow getting along so well with Alyssa. Willow came back content, and we were so happy to have found Alyssa!! Your pets will be so lucky to have Alyssa care for them; do not hesitate in the least. You will see for yourself what a loving and codependent care she gives them !”

“She took excellent care of our boy and he had a great time playing with the sweet Lucy. Courtney provided us with updates and pictures and was always easy to get a hold of.”

“Gary was amazing from the moment our family meet with him for the interview. Gary not only listened to our concerns, our dog Emmie is diabetic and requires insulin, he went and researched her condition to familiarize himself with the condition. While Emmie was under Gary’s supervision we received updates and pics and additional info when we requested. We highly recommend Gary and will continue utilizing his services in the future.”

I can be a bit high maintenance when it comes to my cats and Cayla did everything so well! I loved getting picture updates and seeing my babies while I was away. Will definitely hire again for my next vacation!”

“Grace was wonderful with our sweet shy cat Burton. He always hides from new people and we were nervous about leaving him for a vacation. Grace put us and Burton at ease! He warmed up to her quickly, and she kept us well informed about how he was doing so we could rest easy knowing he and our home were in good hands. We will definitely book Grace again.”

“Ashely was great!! She took great care of our three cats who all have big personalities. She sent lots of pics while we were away and they all looked very happy to have playtime and pets. We came home to happy cats! We’ll definitely book her again!”

“Jonathan was a lifesaver when prior a pet sitter canceled last minute, and in a way I’m happy it turned out that way! You can tell from the minute you meet him he genuinely cares for your animals like they are his own and makes every effort to show it. He even crocheted a blanket for our kitty! My husband and I never had to worry a day while we were on our vacation because we knew our cats were in great hands. We cannot begin to thank you enough!”

About: I first got cats when I was 12. I currently have 3; Pepper, Ash, and Nimbus. This has given me hands-on experience with daily feeding, fresh water, playtime, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, and recognizing changes in behavior or health. I also cat sit two cats pretty often; Blokey and Apartment. Blokey is 16 and needs to take oral medication two times a day. This has given me the skill of senior care and giving medication to pets. I understand that cats can be sensitive to changes in their environment, so I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine and create a calm, comfortable experience. Whether your cat is social and playful or prefers quiet independence, I will respect their personality and provide the attention they need. Experience Includes: Caring for multiple cats at once Feeding and fresh water Litter box cleaning and maintenance Playtime and enrichment Monitoring behavior and well-being Following specific care instructions and routines Providing updates to pet owners

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a child. My first cat was a stray that I secretly took into the basement of my childhood home! Neighbors and friends have relied upon me to care for their kitty cats while they’re out of town for years.

About: A lover of all cats, I strive to provide quality care for felines of all ages and temperaments. Every cat is special and deserves to be treated as such. Through caring for both my own and others’ cats, I have developed an appreciation for the process of learning cat’s unique behaviors and personalities. Most importantly, I believe in building a relationship of trust with owners and their cats through demonstrating my reliability and dedication. I cater my care to the particular cat(s) and I am comfortable with administering medications.
“Sarah and Amy have done drop in cat visits for me twice and it’s been a great experience both times! They are very nice and good communicators. My cat is very “shy” and I appreciate they check in without making her feel scared. Highly recommend!”

“Gary took great care of our girls with some drop-in visits when our usual sitter cancelled at the last minute, and went the extra mile to bring in some packages when USPS delivered at almost 8pm. He even got our typically-standoffish cat to come around! We will absolutely book him again next time we're out of town. Thank you, Gary!”

“Devorah was a wonderful sitter who accommodated my last minute changes and stayed with my kitties overnight. She followed all instructions, was very responsive in communication and left my place just as I left it. The kitties were perfectly content when I returned home. I will absolutely rebook Devorah to cat sit. It was a great experience from beginning to end.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Hi! I'm Lynn, and caring for dogs has been one of the greatest joys of my life for more than 30 years. I've had the privilege of raising and caring for four incredible dogs, each of whom I lovingly called my "kids." They weren't just pets—they were cherished members of our family. Through every stage of life, from playful puppies to their senior years, I was there to provide them with the love, patience, and care they deserved. One of my beloved dogs, Gigi, developed diabetes later in life, which required daily insulin injections and eventually led to blindness. Caring for her taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and providing extra comfort to dogs with medical needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, especially when they require medication or specialized care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I carefully follow every instruction you provide, including feeding schedules, medication administration, dietary needs, exercise routines, and any special preferences that help your pet feel at home. My home features a secure, fenced-in yard with both grassy and paved areas, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents. You'll receive regular photo and video updates, along with messages letting you know how your furry family member is doing, so you can relax knowing they're in caring hands. My goal is simple: to love and care for your dog the same way I cared for my own—with patience, kindness, compassion, and lots of hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and affection. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like family. I currently have flexible availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, which allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the pets in my care. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, outdoor time in the yard, leisurely walks, lots of cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'm able to tailor my schedule around their individual routine and needs. I'm also available to provide regular potty breaks, meals, medication, and other care throughout the day as needed. I believe consistency and open communication are important, so I'm always happy to discuss your pet's normal routine, preferences, and any special requirements ahead of their stay. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible and make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for while they're with me. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and needs, and I'm committed to following the care instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable as possible while they're with me. My home offers a secure, fenced-in yard with both grassy and paved areas where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. Inside, they'll have a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where they'll be treated like part of the family. I'm happy to accommodate your preferences when it comes to your pet's routine. If your dog is crate-trained or you're more comfortable having them in a crate or exercise pen during certain times, I'm more than happy to follow that routine. Likewise, if your pet is used to having free roam of the home, I'm happy to discuss that as well. My goal is to maintain the routine they're familiar with to help reduce stress and make them feel at home. I'll also keep you connected with regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing and enjoy peace of mind while you're away. I know how much our pets mean to us because I've always considered mine to be family, and I'll care for yours with the same love, patience, and respect I'd want for my own.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, and for the past several years I’ve specialized in seniors and small, medium breeds, including my own 11-year-old Yorkie with heart and airway conditions. I’m confident with medications, gentle routines, and multi-day stays, and I currently sit regularly for repeat clients in Providence. I run my own practice from home, so my schedule is flexible and pets are rarely alone. My days are built around routine, morning walks, midday breaks, and calm evenings. Guest dogs join my daily rhythm naturally, with consistent feeding times, multiple walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day In my home, I host one guest at a time in a calm, quiet space with supervised indoor time and secure, leashed walks. In your home, I follow your routines, feeding times, medications, and house rules. I always start with a meet and greet, keep dogs leashed or secured at all times, and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

“Debby was AWESOME! My puppy was in such good hands. She’s very loving, attentive, responsive, friendly, had a lot of experience with dogs, keeps you updated with pictures, and overall genuine. My puppy had such a fun time at her place! Will definitely be booking again :)”

“Sonia is absolutely fantastic! My dog Isla had an amazing time and was so happy and tired when we picked her up. We'll definitely keep rebooking going forward! Having just adopted my dog ~6 months ago, this is the first time we've left her with anyone other than family and I have to say I was SO comfortable and happy knowing that she was in great care. Sonia sent pictures almost immediately to let us know Isla was settling in and more to follow up during the day. Highly, highly recommend Sonia-- wonderful experience knowing that my dog was in the best possible hands!”

About: Growing up I always had a dog or two. I had worked at a dog daycare facility professionally for 8 years. During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. Since the facility is cage-free, I dedicate myself to ensuring the dogs have fun, are safe, and love in our care. Currently, I have two medium and large dogs who constantly love to play, whether it is water play in the backyard, going on walks, frisbee or just relaxing in our backyard! I'm currently a nursing student on and a part time barista. I only work part-time for a few hours a day, usually morning until noon time, so your pet will receive lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout their stay. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My two dogs are very friendly and social with other dogs. I have a two-level yard, a six-foot fence all around the yard, and a door your pups can easily access to potty or play. I can also provide in-house food unless your pups have allergies and need to improvise. My house is cage free but if you’d like your pet to be crate I can improvise that.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m confident in creating a calm, loving environment that fits their needs. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will have plenty of attention throughout the day—and with a beautiful park right next door, daily walks and outdoor time are part of our regular routine. I genuinely treat every pet like my own, giving them the care, affection, and respect they deserve. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I start the day with morning walks (the park next door is perfect for that), and I build in time for play, feeding, potty breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. Evenings usually include a final walk and some wind-down time. Whether it’s a short visit or overnight care, I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention and care woven into my day like they’re part of the family. In my home, I create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly space where your pet can feel comfortable and cared for. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible—walks, feeding times, play, and rest—to help them settle in easily. I live next to a park, so daily walks and outdoor time are a big part of our day. Pets have full access to cozy spaces, and I’m always nearby since I work from home.
“Our sweet pup had so much fun with Marie and her husband for the days we booked. So much more joy and excitement we haven't seen in her in the mornings getting ready to go for the day to her new friend's house and more still when she was ready to come home. Will only trust this couple with our baby.”

“Keasha was great! She watched my 4 month old puppy for the day and he had a great time. He is a little shy and she really helped him gain more confidence. He came home exhausted after a fun day of walks, playing outside, and cuddles.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. I am currently working a part time job and I’m about to leave for college and need some extra hours. I don’t mind if it’s miles or just down the street. I personally don’t care if I have to go in someone’s house just want their stuff to be out so I don’t have to go through there stuff.
“Kayla took excellent care of my 2 dogs. She was available short notice and while with her, Luna & Beemer got lots of cuddles, daily walks and got to meet the cats. They loved going there!!!”

I have a two-level yard, a six-foot fence all around the yard, and a door your pups can easily access to potty or play. I can also provide in-house food unless your pups have allergies and need to improvise. My house is cage free but if you’d like your pet to be crate I can improvise that.
About: Hello! My name is Valeria & I am a 19 yr old college student at RIC. I have been pet-sitting since I was 15 years old. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish & bunnies. My college classes are in the day time from Monday through Thursday starting the end of August with gaps in between classes so I can do drop by visits & evening pet sitting care. I always ensure that leashes are not too long so dogs do not wander off. I take dogs out for potty breaks according to the schedule you provide or as needed.

About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.
About: Growing up I always had animals in the house, dogs especially. I would walk, bathe, feed, and take care of them so I am sure to take great care of your pets My availabily is very open and I welcome same day bookings. I ask for at least a few hours of a notice to ensure that your pet receives the best level of care available. As we know, life can change in a second, so same day cancelations are accepted. Having grown up around animals I have grown accustomed to understanding behaviors and tendencies. I will always make sure to watch your dog to the best of my ability ensuring they are both physically and mentally in the best hands
About: I worked at a doggy daycare in college where I was responsible for taking care of upwards of 12 dogs. I adopted my dog 4 years ago and he's become a part of the family. I've taken care of him as well as friends dogs (including puppies) when they are away. However you choose to take care of your dog is how I will take care of them. I'm currently working part time, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your dog(s)! I'm available every day and night of the week. I follow all of the instructions given to me by the owner to make sure the pet is taken care of, comfortable with a stranger, and loved.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life, with experience caring for family, friends’, and neighbors’ pets from a young age. I also worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained hands on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I work full time, but spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to outside of work. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially evenings and weekends, and I love being able to spend that time walking, playing with, and caring for pets. I’m unable to offer boarding in my own home because I have an anxious cat, but I’m happy to provide attentive care in clients’ homes. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their normal routines, whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications, or just giving them companionship and attention while you’re away.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5. I currently have two dogs one 8 and one 7 at my parents home where I currently live. My brother and sister in law also have two dogs 2 and 1 years old. When my parents and them travel, I am in charge of the 4 of them at my house and we are all on a routine where everything is under control and still having fun. When needed, I do go to my brothers to take them for a walk and play with them to break up their day of being in the house. I am currently part time worker, so I have more free time during the week and figured I could use my time to help out dog lovers like yourself! For dog walking, I will follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet and yourself are satisfied with my job. I will be safe but fun at the same time making sure your pets are cared for properly.
About: I love pets. In my experience, pets our part of family and I will treat them as such. I have care for pets for over 30 years and am able to handle 5-8 dogs. I do pet care full-time. I am always home watching the dogs and cats, making sure they are safe. Pets will never be home alone and we follow strict food or medicine schedules if necessary. Pets are always being watched. They will never be left home alone when boarding. We have a fully gated yard that is impossible for dogs to escape.
About: Happy to take your pup on short walks for potty breaks, long hikes to release energy, and anything in between! I can bring my own poop bags and treats unless otherwise provided. Experience working with dogs of all ages and social levels. I am happy to wake up early, stay out late, and work part time during the week (some weeks off) from 8:30-4:10 but there will still be plenty of time to put your pets first! Ensuring your dog and you are comfortable is my first priority, I will take as much time as needed to adjust to your pups comforts.

“Sierra was great! My dog Gus came home happy, exercised, and with a well-needed trim :) Sierra made sure to communicate often and sent many photos throughout the weekend. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Thank you, Karen, for taking such good care of Marley! You are so easy to work with and flexible with scheduling. The accommodations were so “ homey” it was like she was in her own home. She enjoyed Guinness, your dog, it’s good she had another dog to play with. Thank you, again!!”

“She dropped my pup off in a pinch when I realized I had a tire issue. She took great care of him as always. Never using another sitter! Thank you so much!”

“He was so communicative! And was so loving to our pup I got pictures daily and he even helped my pup with socializing. Will definitely love to book with him again in future.”

About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.
“Amazing! Great communication, super kind, took our pup in at the very very last minute!! Such a life saver. Kaya came home happy and tired. She seemed to love it there! Thank you so much 🥹”

“Angelina was a spectacular host! She sent constant updates, was flexible, had a great set-up, and most importantly gave a lot of love to my girls. 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you Angelina! I would also note she was able to accomodate (in my circumstances) a last minute, 3 week stay for my pups which is unheard of. That speaks to her heart and caring nature!”

“Had issues with one of my dog’s behavior but Lisa handled the situation perfectly and my parents took him. She was great with my other dog, lot of walks, homemade treats, and she even washed his blankets! Highly recommended!”

“Giovanni was very professional and he has a very loving home. His own pets are well cared for. He even has a 19 year old poodle mix! It’s a real testament to the TLC in the house that can bring a dog into his 19th year of life. Giovanni and my dog were fast friends and I look forward to working with him again soon.”

“Lisa was great. Our sweet but nervous pup settled in quickly and seemed to feel comfortable and happy. Lisa was very accommodating to our schedule and attentive to my dogs needs pertaining to her anxiety. We received frequent updates and photos. Her home provided plenty of soft comfy landing spots for your pup and a beautiful fenced yard that my dog loved. She was great with communication and we will definitely use Lisa again”
