She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. We already plan to book with Devorat again soon!”

Our dogs who have special dietary needs, allergies, and high energy.. were taken in without hesitation from Gary and his dog Amigo. About: Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this way, I can accommodate most pet-sitting tasks, making my clock very flexible to assure your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably)

About: Worked in dog daycares on and off since i was 16, but ive always had my own animals. I can also, give medication and basic baths. I’ll be with the dogs always, i do have a separate room if needed for emergencies. Bathroom breaks as often as needed and food/snacks upon parent approval/request I will always follow instructions left to me, and animals will never be left unattended in my care. My own animals are like my kids to me.
About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially evenings and weekends, and I love being able to spend that time walking, playing with, and caring for pets. I’m unable to offer boarding in my own home because I have an anxious cat, but I’m happy to provide attentive care in clients’ homes. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their normal routines, whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications, or just giving them companionship and attention while you’re away.
About: Hello! My name is Valeria & I am a 19 yr old college student at RIC. I have been pet-sitting since I was 15 years old. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish & bunnies. My college classes are in the day time from Monday through Thursday starting the end of August with gaps in between classes so I can do drop by visits & evening pet sitting care. I always ensure that leashes are not too long so dogs do not wander off. I take dogs out for potty breaks according to the schedule you provide or as needed.

About: Growing up I always had a dog or two. I've been working at a dog daycare facility professionally for 8 years. During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. Since the facility is cage-free, I dedicate myself to ensuring the dogs have fun, are safe, and love in our care. Currently, I have two medium and large dogs who constantly love to play, whether it is water play in the backyard, going on walks, frisbee or just relaxing in our backyard! I'm currently a college student on summer break, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pets. I only work part-time for a few hours a day, so your pet will receive lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout their stay. I also work part-time at a dog daycare facility, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and play styles. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My two dogs are very friendly and social with other dogs. I have a two-level yard, a six-foot fence all around the yard, and a door your pups can easily access to potty or play. I can also provide in-house food unless your pups have allergies and need to improvise. My house is cage free but if you’d like your pet to be crate I can improvise that.
About: I worked at a doggy daycare in college where I was responsible for taking care of upwards of 12 dogs. I adopted my dog 4 years ago and he's become a part of the family. I've taken care of him as well as friends dogs (including puppies) when they are away. However you choose to take care of your dog is how I will take care of them. I'm currently working part time, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your dog(s)! I'm available every day and night of the week. I follow all of the instructions given to me by the owner to make sure the pet is taken care of, comfortable with a stranger, and loved.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5. I currently have two dogs one 8 and one 7 at my parents home where I currently live. My brother and sister in law also have two dogs 2 and 1 years old. When my parents and them travel, I am in charge of the 4 of them at my house and we are all on a routine where everything is under control and still having fun. When needed, I do go to my brothers to take them for a walk and play with them to break up their day of being in the house. About: I am American red cross pet first aid certified, I've been pet for few years and am comfortable with all types of animals/dogs and also have experience in house sitting and walking. I will send photos of the babies while you're away if requested :) I am also comfortable with other animals like ferrets/hampsters/guinea pigs. i currently work part time evenings on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so my schedule is very open. most of my experience is house sitting while owners are on vacation My home is not currently not available for sitting but I am willing to stay at your home to sit for your pets. Our dogs who have special dietary needs, allergies, and high energy.. were taken in without hesitation from Gary and his dog Amigo. As anxious dog parents Gary eased our worries entirely by keeping us updated every few hours on how our pups were doing with videos and pictures (something you can't get anywhere else) ..they made themselves at home very quickly and it was quickly apparent that our dogs were in great hands and knew they were safe and happy. 5/5 stars would and WILL recommend and to Amigo you're new found friends Lola and Loki will be back!”
