About: Hi! My name is Emily, and I have over 8 years of experience working as a veterinary technician. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets and those with special medical needs. My veterinary background allows me to provide a higher level of care and recognize changes in your pet’s health, behavior, and comfort. I am experienced with administering medications, including oral medications, injections, and subcutaneous (SQ) fluids. I can also assist with nail trims, feeding, exercise, enrichment, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, active playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I work full time at a veterinary hospital but am always available to do early mornings( before 8 am) Monday: available before 8 am & after 5 pm Tuesday’s: available before 8 am Wednesday’s: available all day Thursday’s: available before 11 am Friday’s: available before 8 am & after 5 pm Saturdays: available after 1pm Sunday’s: available after 1pm I am willing to go to your home & play with your dogs in your own yard (if fenced) & take them for long walks in your neighborhood or any trails in the area.

About: Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm new to Rover but I've helped care for animals for many years. I've worked for a dog walking company and it was one of the best jobs I've had in my life. Being out, exploring, and getting exercise was fun for both me and the dogs on my route. I'd give reports and take photos of all our outings. From there, I worked at an animal hospital assisting vet techs and doctors by walking, feeding and holding the animals for their treatments. I learned so much, especially about having patience and compassion for animals that are sick and scared. I gained a lot of knowledge about safe animal handling and body language. I've also completed Fear Free training! I have adopted a pretty quirky Beagle/Boston terrier mix about 10 yrs ago and he's kept me busy ever since. He's very smart and active. A lot of understanding and keeping him busy have helped him come such a long way. It's been so rewarding to see! Are you looking to get your pets out and about while you're at work? I'm available weekdays from the morning until early evening. I'm available for a Saturday morning stroll as well! I would care for your pet as you request. Whether it be a neighborhood walk, a fenced in yard, or a path nearby, I look forward to doing what your pet enjoys! I always have safety in mind, so your pet would always be under supervision and leashed in my care.

About: I’ve had animals since I was 6. Growing up I had over twenty cats, numerous dogs (big and small), and a horse! While owning animals allowed me to learn the basics, I’ve spent 10+ years volunteering in both RI and MA animal rescues to help animals in need. This has allowed me to meet an array of different species as well as personalities. It’s also taught me how to socialize feral cats/dogs, administer medication, CLEAN, and give lots of love. Each pet is unique and I learn something from every one of them! Some can run endlessly and others have to be rolled off the couch. I love and care for them all. At the end of the day I aim to be a consistent, stable, and reliable resource for pet parents looking for someone to care for their babies! I’m also open to discuss my pricing if need be I have LOTS of free time!! I’m hoping to fill up my schedule with as many fur babies as possible! The more snuggles the better! Making your pet comfortable is always the goal and that process isn’t always smooth! That’s okay! I have time, treats, and more treats on my side. For social animals I am able to just do what makes them happy. Walks, play time, cuddles, etc. For the shy babies I know it’s not always a one visit solution and that’s okay! I’ve had the meanest feral cats you can imagine in my house who turn into the snuggliest love bugs with a little time, love, and stability. It takes time to build trust and I respect that

“Heather was absolutely amazing! Our senior cat recently started on insulin shots twice a day and we were nervous about leaving him. We were put at ease as soon as we met Heather. She came twice a day promptly at the times he needed his meds and cared for him as if he was her own pet! We got updates and photos at each visit and it seems like our old kitty fell into a nice, relaxed routine with her😊. She did an amazing job keeping his days as “normal” as possible for him and she went way above and beyond keeping his entire space (and ours) tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to use Heather’s services again when we travel. I felt very comfortable having her in my home and with my pet. Thank you!”

About: I have had cats and dogs in my life since the age of 6. I have raised two dogs from puppies, and have a lot of experience with older dogs as my friends and family prefer to adopt. I previously fostered a Lab-Pitbull, and currently have a Pomeranian, so I have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes. I am currently available any day of the week from 1:30pm on. I work from home, so overnight or extended stays are no issue for me! I have a big fenced in yard where dogs can run and play, and I live in a quiet neighborhood that is great for dog walks. I am available on-call to take dogs for walks in their own neighborhoods as well! I love to play fetch and give some of the best scritches in town (just ask my dog) :)

About: I’ve taken care of pets as long as I can remember. I have worked up in Boston taking care of animals and for family and friends close to me. As well as working with the elderly caring for them in their homes for the past few years. I’m in school to became a veterinarian, and love animals more than anything and would love to help you with your babies wherever help is needed. I promise to love your pets like they are my own!! I am very flexible and willing to work out anything you need to help you feel your pets are all cared for when you are not around :) looking forward hearing for you! I am currently going to focus on this as a main job for the summer so i am very flexible and available!! I am available all throughout the week morning -night whenever I am needed. I can stop by to feed,play and give potty break and nice walks with your babies! I am even more then happy to hangout for long period of time or stay over the night if needed!! I do not offer play dates or overnights at my own home only because of my dog is a recuse and does not do the best around other dogs. But I love my dog and cat more than anything and my home is full of nothing but overwhelming love for them and I wish to give you just the same for when i’m with your animals :)

About: Hi! I'm Rachel. I have been obsessed with dogs since I can remember! My first word was "doggy-oggy-oggy!" I have been dog walking and dog sitting for over 10 years and absolutely love helping other pet owners when they need it! I have worked with dogs of every age range, including senior to puppy. Right now I am looking to primarily dog walk to get more steps in and spend more time with pups! I can also do drop ins for those that need it. Thank you! I have a dog myself (he is more of a miniature horse) at 96 pounds! He is my best friend! I walk him twice a day, and would love to help out as many other dog parents who need walks for their dogs as well! I have a fenced in yard, if there is ever a need to bring your pet to my house and I have 2 crates as well. Ensuring a safe environment for your pup is my top priority.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and currently have a sweet 7 year old Yorkie mix who is definitely the center of our household. If your pup is used to a home where they get lots of attention, then ours is the right fit. I volunteer with the Hotel for Homeless Dogs in Cumberland and understand the patience and love dogs need when with someone new or in an unfamiliar place. I’m a teacher so my summers and weekends are relatively free and I would love to spend some of July and August caring for your pup. During the summer, I usually take my dog Petey on about 4 walks a day and would love to bring your pup along as well. I do only take small- medium sized dogs as Petey can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds. I live with my husband and stepchildren who have had dogs all their lives and understand how to be around them. I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. I love going for dog walks and you can be assured your pup will be outside for a good portion of the day. I can crate your dog if you like, but we don’t crate our own.

My extensive experience with animals includes caring for various types of pets, livestock, birds, reptiles, and more. During the school year I teach animal science. My lifestyle is active, which aligns perfectly with the needs of active animals. I'm not only physically capable but also well-versed in the daily chores and responsibilities that come with animal care. My approach is kind and considerate, and I excel in communication, ensuring the best possible care for animals under my watch. Whether it's administering medications or handling animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, I'm comfortable and experienced in providing top-notch care and attention. My passion for animal welfare drives me to go above and beyond to ensure their well-being and happiness I am an animal science during the year but off during the summer and have lots of time to devote to caring for your animal. My dogs are crate trained but are also allowed on the furniture and sleep in bed with me. My day revolves around there needs and schedule first, and my own tasks after.
