About: Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm new to Rover but I've helped care for animals for many years. I've worked for a dog walking company and it was one of the best jobs I've had in my life. Being out, exploring, and getting exercise was fun for both me and the dogs on my route. I'd give reports and take photos of all our outings. From there, I worked at an animal hospital assisting vet techs and doctors by walking, feeding and holding the animals for their treatments. I am always very meticulous with my cleaning of water and food bowls, and litter boxes. I will give treats to your cat as well!

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. My family got a dog in 2020, a yorkiepoo, and he has been my best friend ever since. I take him on walks, play tug a war with his toys, as well as teaching him new tricks in a matter of a few days. I make sure that my dog is taken care of at home when my parents are at work and I will do the same for you and your pets! Pet care can easily fit into my schedule now that it is summer. I am usually pretty available during the summer as I do have a lot of free time! As safety is concerned, your dog(s) will always have the most attention when in my hands. They will be watched at all times no matter where they are. I will only go in places that the dogs are when I take the dog out and bring them back inside, as well as possibly using the bathroom if needed. I will be in someone else’s space so I will respect the family’s space and privacy.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

They let us play outside and snuggle us on the couch as much as we want!! We must be super cute because they are always taking our picture! We give them lots of kisses and we are pretty sure they love that!" This particular visit our flight was delayed on our return and Julie was so accommodating to our ever changing arrival time, we ended up needing to have them stay an extra night and she made it work for us - free of charge!
