Pet care experience
Animal Scientist & Pet Lover
I’ve loved animals my entire life and have been caring for dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Beyond pet sitting, I’ve worked at an SPCA and at a zoo, where I gained hands-on experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals. I also study animals professionally, so understanding animal behavior and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood is something I genuinely love. I’m comfortable with animals of all personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s individual routine and needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on the top floor of a house with plenty of space for pets to relax and a small yard for some outdoor time. I also have a very friendly cat who loves dogs and other animals, so I’m comfortable caring for pets in a multi-animal home.
Ratings and reviews
Penny has watched my 2 cats multiple times for periods of 3-15 days. She clearly communicates about their general well-being, and it is clear that she cares for them as if they are her own. My two cats love her, especially my shy boy, due to her kindness, calm demeanor, and care for animals. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for long- or short- term stays.
I’ve known Penelope for two years, and she is the absolute definition of a devoted pet owner. Her genuine love for animals shines through whenever she talks about her cat, Nutmeg, whether she’s sharing photos from a park trip, happily recounting their latest adventures, or sharing something funny Nutmeg did. Penelope treats her pets like family, always ensuring they are happy, safe, and deeply loved. Any pet brought into Penelope’s care would treated with so much love.
Penny is great with animals— she has a cat that is very loved and well taken care of. She is very responsible and would do very well on Rover.

Schedule
I’m a graduate student with a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m generally available for dog walks in the mornings and evenings, and I have flexibility during the day depending on my class and research schedule. I’m also available for boarding on weekends. I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care!
