About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel & a very large husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I rescued a German shepherd/pit bull mix (Layla) who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I rescued Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans & dogs alike. I’ve completed extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently available throughout the work week at any time (as an educator on summer break). As of September 1st, I will be available from 2pm into the early evening. Book early to save a spot right at 2! I know a wide variety of trails/walking spots in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I make sure to carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and try to engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash. Within your home, I’ll always change/refill the water for the dog(s) after the walk.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Family members, friends, neighbors, etc. have always had pets and have relied on me to take care of them for periods of time. I work on a hybrid schedule, so I am home most Mondays, Fridays - Sundays all day. When I am in the City working I have breaks where I can walk dogs that are close by as well. I don’t have any pets in my home, I live with my fiance who has grown up owning multiple dogs at a time. We have no children in the home either. We live in a townhouse with a front and back yard.

I have had dogs and guinea pigs since I was born and have over 10 years experience caring for dogs- large, small, and everything in between, as well as cats, small animals, and reptiles. I was also a manager at a pet store where I was trained on all of the safety measures to take around our furry friends! I worked at an exotic animal sanctuary where I received further training on a wide variety of animal care. I am well versed in senior dog care and general obedience training. About: I have loved dogs and animals in general for my entire life. Right now, I work at Buddy's Doggie Daycare in Norfolk MA, and I love it, but I am looking for more one on one experience with a dog. At Buddy's my job is to watch the dogs and interact with them. Another part of my job is to protect the dogs in case of a fight breaking out. I have learned to think and act quick in those kinds of situations. When something like that happens, you step in quickly and it was scary at first, but I love and care about the dogs so much it doesn't matter to me if I get a little hurt, as long as the dogs are okay, I am happy. At Buddy's there are dogs of all ages and sizes, so I am used to being around them. Growing up I was known for my love of animals. My Aunt has a dog and whenever they go on a trip they ask me to dog sit her. I love walking her and taking care of her. I was never able to have a dog growing up because my dad and sister are allergic. I want to give every dog I can the love they deserve. Before I worked at Buddy's I worked at Pet Supplies Plus in Franklin MA. There I learned some basic needs of dogs and how to take care of them in an at home setting. I worked there for 2 years until I moved on to Buddy's, Currently I am working full time, but I am working on clearing my schedule, so I have plenty of time to work and care for your dogs!! I don't go to school or have any other obligations other than my current job. Depending on what your dog and home is like, I will make sure they have a great and safe time with me. If there is no fenced in yard we can play inside or go for a nice walk. And if your pup is older and needs more down time we can go for drives and get him/her a little treat. About: I’ve had pets since I was a child- Always at least one cat, one dog, and a turtle! I have volunteered with MSPCA as well, and taken care of shelter animals. My own dog is from a shelter, and she is reactive to other dogs. I’ve helped train her both in the house and on the leash, and have experience in handling reactive animals because of this. My dog, a snuggly pitbull, is now a certified Canine Good Citizen! I can keep up with high energy pets, but I also love being with a pet that loves relaxing just as much as I do. I’m currently on Winter Break, so I can house sit, walk, drop by, etc. during days or nights. I am used to late nights, and could do early mornings if needed. My car also includes a seat cover that prevents clumsy pets such as my own from falling, so I am open to driving any size of pet.
