“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
“Look no further!! An anxious owner with leaving our 4 month old puppy with someone for a week was pushing our meter into overdrive. "What if they don't like it, what if we don't hear from them, what if (insert any obsessive here)"!! Then, we heard back from Alexandra and Joseph that they had the days available we were looking for. Meeting "Alex" beforehand gave me instant confidence, she is WELL qualified, kind and very comfortable around dogs, you can tell firsthand she has years of experience. The week went by quickly, we got daily communication, pictures of our pup practically smiling in every shot (they are very good photographers) and assurance that all was fabulous. I NEVER worried, the whole time we were away. We picked her up and she looked wonderfully tired, excited to see us and grew like a weed in a week. I was not solicited to leave this review, it is every bit genuine, actual and I hope it helps you with considering Alex and Joseph. 10 STARS!!! We look forward to future visits with them.”
“Megan was great! We came from out of town for an extended stay, and wanted to take a one day excursion without our dog Bentley. Even knowing it was likely to be a one-time dog-sitting opportunity - or at least very occasional - Megan was very responsive, arranged a meeting with her dog in advance, and when the day came, the two dogs and Megan all got along great! Bentley seemed happy to see us but reluctant to leave when we picked him up! And we got a lot of feedback and pictures during both days of his one-night stay. If the opportunity comes up again, we'll definitely turn to Megan again, too!”

Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. While I was away, Olivia sent frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious they weren't just being cared for—they were genuinely loved. Seeing them so relaxed and comfortable made an incredibly stressful time so much easier. Olivia cared not only for my cats but also for me. About: Hi, my wife Ali and I have been taking care of and walking dogs for years. We have 3 small dogs and 2 small parrots of our own. We live in a house with our own private fenced in dog park in the back. My wife is always home as she works from home and I work overnight so your pet will never be alone. We love to care for all dogs or other animals! We have 2 young children so your dog must be good around kids as well. If you have any questions please message me. Unfortunately at the time we are not accepting any large breeds (dogs that stand really tall on 4 legs) unless they are a small puppy and are 35-40lbs or less. We also do not take dogs that mark all over the house, one accident is expected when nervous in a new environment and we understand. We do charge extra $20 if you run out of food or we need to feed your dog our own food because dog food is costly these days. We also will charge a $200 cleaning fee for dogs who do mark all over the house because as stated we do not take dogs that do this. We are am extremely flexible with pet schedules, as of right now we bring our own dogs out every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and playtime outdoors. We visit a local dog park and we also have a yard. We have our own yard and we will be outside with your dog on leash, never left unsupervised, safety for everyone is important to us. We will always be very transparent with you.

About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel & a very large husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I rescued a German shepherd/pit bull mix (Layla) who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I rescued Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans & dogs alike. I’ve completed extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently available throughout the work week from 2pm into the early evening. Book early to save a spot right at 2! I can also do special requests for weekends (although it says I am not available - shoot me a message and we can discuss!) I know a wide variety of trails/walking spots in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I make sure to carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and try to engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash. Within your home, I’ll always change/refill the water for the dog(s) after the walk.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child- Always at least one cat, one dog, and a turtle! I have volunteered with MSPCA as well, and taken care of shelter animals. My own dog is from a shelter, and she is reactive to other dogs. I’ve helped train her both in the house and on the leash, and have experience in handling reactive animals because of this. My dog, a snuggly pitbull, is now a certified Canine Good Citizen! I can keep up with high energy pets, but I also love being with a pet that loves relaxing just as much as I do. I will always follow instructions/rules for your pet, and I am open to phone calls, texts, and email for communications. I look forward to meeting and caring for your lovely pets! I’m currently on Winter Break, so I can house sit, walk, drop by, etc. during days or nights. I am used to late nights, and could do early mornings if needed. I am always very careful about a pet’s space and comfort in their home. I can feed, walk, play, and drive pets around as needed. My car also includes a seat cover that prevents clumsy pets such as my own from falling, so I am open to driving any size of pet.
About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. I would like to know a little bit about them beforehand and any preferences or habits they have.
About: Hi! My name is Annie and I have experience with about every pet you can name. I am 24 years old and live at home with my parents, brother and 4 cats. We have had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters and even a lizard. I am known as the cat whisperer and all pets always love me because I approach animals with a calm and nurturing tone. I am currently in grad school and have a lot of availability during the summer. I am looking for occasional or long term opportunities, so feel free to reach out! I have lots of pets at home right now so I spend a lot of time playing and taking care of them. I would love to expand my pet family. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
“Look no further!! An anxious owner with leaving our 4 month old puppy with someone for a week was pushing our meter into overdrive. "What if they don't like it, what if we don't hear from them, what if (insert any obsessive here)"!! Then, we heard back from Alexandra and Joseph that they had the days available we were looking for. Meeting "Alex" beforehand gave me instant confidence, she is WELL qualified, kind and very comfortable around dogs, you can tell firsthand she has years of experience. The week went by quickly, we got daily communication, pictures of our pup practically smiling in every shot (they are very good photographers) and assurance that all was fabulous. I NEVER worried, the whole time we were away. We picked her up and she looked wonderfully tired, excited to see us and grew like a weed in a week. About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
