“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
“Megan was great! We came from out of town for an extended stay, and wanted to take a one day excursion without our dog Bentley. Even knowing it was likely to be a one-time dog-sitting opportunity - or at least very occasional - Megan was very responsive, arranged a meeting with her dog in advance, and when the day came, the two dogs and Megan all got along great! Bentley seemed happy to see us but reluctant to leave when we picked him up! And we got a lot of feedback and pictures during both days of his one-night stay. If the opportunity comes up again, we'll definitely turn to Megan again, too!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Family members, friends, neighbors, etc. have always had pets and have relied on me to take care of them for periods of time. I work on a hybrid schedule, so I am home most Mondays, Fridays - Sundays all day. When I am in the City working I have breaks where I can walk dogs that are close by as well. I don’t have any pets in my home, I live with my fiance who has grown up owning multiple dogs at a time. We have no children in the home either. We live in a townhouse with a front and back yard.

Adreine sent me a ton of pics and videos during this week with Rex, and that helped a lot while I was far away! She did everything I’ve asked for, including following the special feeding schedule for my dog, as he has a special diet for now and needs to drink more (she mixed water in his food and literally placed water bowls everywhere). Adreine and her husband played with him a lot and I got back a bit spoiled and very happy pup:). She also has a very quiet neighborhood, with no cars around and perfect for the walks outside. About: Hi, my wife Ali and I have been taking care of and walking dogs for years. We have 3 small dogs and 2 small parrots of our own. We live in a house with our own private fenced in dog park in the back. My wife is always home as she works from home and I work overnight so your pet will never be alone. We love to care for all dogs or other animals! We have 2 young children so your dog must be good around kids as well. If you have any questions please message me. Unfortunately at the time we are not accepting any large breeds (dogs that stand really tall on 4 legs) unless they are a small puppy and are 35-40lbs or less. We also do not take dogs that mark all over the house, one accident is expected when nervous in a new environment and we understand. We do charge extra $20 if you run out of food or we need to feed your dog our own food because dog food is costly these days. We also will charge a $200 cleaning fee for dogs who do mark all over the house because as stated we do not take dogs that do this. We are am extremely flexible with pet schedules, as of right now we bring our own dogs out every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and playtime outdoors. We visit a local dog park and we also have a yard. We have our own yard and we will be outside with your dog on leash, never left unsupervised, safety for everyone is important to us. We will always be very transparent with you.
About: I had 2 cats growing up and I currently take care of my mother’s bengal cat on a regular basis. I feed, groom, and maintain the litter box because my mother is unable to. In rescue, I specialize in socializing kittens and cats but have also taken on seniors with medical disabilities. I have trained puppies on basic commands. I have multiple years experience giving medications to dogs and cats. I am available for drop ins, walking, pack walks / hikes from 1pm to 10pm Monday through Friday and am available for all your pets needs on the weekends. Ideally I am available to walk your pup, let them out, feed them and take the on a nice hike if weather permits. He had never been kenneled before and realized how important it is to find a loving and caring place for him while I was away. About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel & a very large husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I rescued a German shepherd/pit bull mix (Layla) who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I rescued Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans & dogs alike. I’ve completed extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently available throughout the work week at any time (as an educator on summer break). As of September 1st, I will be available from 2pm into the early evening. Book early to save a spot right at 2! I know a wide variety of trails/walking spots in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I make sure to carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and try to engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash. Within your home, I’ll always change/refill the water for the dog(s) after the walk.

About: I have loved dogs and animals in general for my entire life. Right now, I work at Buddy's Doggie Daycare in Norfolk MA, and I love it, but I am looking for more one on one experience with a dog. At Buddy's my job is to watch the dogs and interact with them. Another part of my job is to protect the dogs in case of a fight breaking out. I have learned to think and act quick in those kinds of situations. When something like that happens, you step in quickly and it was scary at first, but I love and care about the dogs so much it doesn't matter to me if I get a little hurt, as long as the dogs are okay, I am happy. At Buddy's there are dogs of all ages and sizes, so I am used to being around them. Growing up I was known for my love of animals. My Aunt has a dog and whenever they go on a trip they ask me to dog sit her. I love walking her and taking care of her. I was never able to have a dog growing up because my dad and sister are allergic. I want to give every dog I can the love they deserve. Before I worked at Buddy's I worked at Pet Supplies Plus in Franklin MA. There I learned some basic needs of dogs and how to take care of them in an at home setting. I worked there for 2 years until I moved on to Buddy's, Currently I am working full time, but I am working on clearing my schedule, so I have plenty of time to work and care for your dogs!! I don't go to school or have any other obligations other than my current job. Depending on what your dog and home is like, I will make sure they have a great and safe time with me. If there is no fenced in yard we can play inside or go for a nice walk. And if your pup is older and needs more down time we can go for drives and get him/her a little treat. No matter what the setting is, I will make sure your dog is safe and happy as can be!

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child- Always at least one cat, one dog, and a turtle! I have volunteered with MSPCA as well, and taken care of shelter animals. My own dog is from a shelter, and she is reactive to other dogs. I’ve helped train her both in the house and on the leash, and have experience in handling reactive animals because of this. My dog, a snuggly pitbull, is now a certified Canine Good Citizen! I can keep up with high energy pets, but I also love being with a pet that loves relaxing just as much as I do. I will always follow instructions/rules for your pet, and I am open to phone calls, texts, and email for communications. I look forward to meeting and caring for your lovely pets! I’m currently on Winter Break, so I can house sit, walk, drop by, etc. during days or nights. I am used to late nights, and could do early mornings if needed. I am always very careful about a pet’s space and comfort in their home. I can feed, walk, play, and drive pets around as needed. My car also includes a seat cover that prevents clumsy pets such as my own from falling, so I am open to driving any size of pet.

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters.
