“Jessica is so great with our rambunctious puppy!! He is not easy and can very energetic but Jessica always has patience and grace with him, despite the occasional glove/shoe stealing. She never seems to get upset with him and understands he needs a little extra support being young. She is also very flexible and willing to help with our tasks- Highly recommend!!!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special interest in dogs. I am fascinated with understanding dog behavior, communication and body language. I have taken several courses in dog training and safe handling, been certified in pet first aid and CPR, and am active in the dog community. I have several years of experience walking a variety of different dog breeds ranging from small to large, both individually and in small groups. I am very flexible and am looking to expand my list of clients. I offer drop-in visits, individual walks and small groups for dogs to socialize. Routine and structure are important so I am very careful to follow the specific instructions for each animal. My goal is to keep your pet safe, happy and help you provide the love, mental and physical stimulation they need to thrive.

About: I have been working with dogs for 15 years. I am Canine and Feline certified and have completed a course in reading canine body language. I know some basic vet tech knowledge and signs of stress and I am also trained in giving deworming medicine and administering shots to dogs and cats as I have previously cared for a cat with Diabeties. I also have experience working in a grooming salon as a Bather/Dryer so I have no problem giving a bath to anyone that needs one or a quick nail trim. My passion in life has always been animals and I have had more dogs and cats then I can count on both hands and now I am living my dream of working with dogs at a popular doggie daycare in Rhode Island. My mornings are spent with a group of at least 20-40 dogs playing in an off leash facility either playing ball, working on commands or just giving belly scratches and my afternoons are spent at home with my own two dogs, a 6 year old Chihuahua who just wants to sleep on or next to me and my first rescue who is still a puppy at 8 months old and loves to learn new tricks and chase his toys around. Why I love dog sitting I've been a animal lover since I was a child, as early as I can remember I wanted to be a veterinarian so I could help fix all the sick animals. I've always had animals growing up and my very first dog was a German Shepard named Buddy. I have had cats, dogs, hamsters, rats and fish. The only animals I fear is snakes. I have worked in a variety of animal care settings such as pet stores, grooming salons and pet hotels so I had been in a wide range of environments to work from. My favorite was the Pet hotel/Doggie Daycare because of the wide variation in breeds that you see coming in. My experience administering medication I have no problems with administering medications, one of my previous landlords had a cat that I would watch for her that had Diabetes and needed her insulin shots twice a day along with strict dietary food for weight management, her name was Savannah and she recently passed away. I run my own small dog walking/sitting business so I am blessed to have the flexibility to add on new fur friends when they need help. If the pets are coming to stay with me I have beds, toys and everything you can expect if you leave something at home, If I am sitting at the clients home I like to do a meet and greet beforehand to go over all the details and answer any questions or concerns the pet parents may have, I also make sure they know they can reach me pretty much anytime for an update on their pets.

I also have a husband and a 15 year old son who share my passion for animals as well and they are more than willing to assist me if need be.
