“Kiley did a fantastic job with both of our dogs, even on her first visit. She arrived on time and quickly bonded with them. They had a long, enjoyable walk and returned home happy and well-exercised. When they encountered a neighbor's dog, Kiley wisely picked up our little one to prevent any potential issues. We highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, and my family and I have two of our own. I’ve also taken care of pets for neighbors, family, and friends, so I’m comfortable with all ages, personalities, and routines. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I run my own business and am home most of the time. I plan my day around visits so each pet gets steady attention. I care for pets by following their normal routines, paying close attention to their behavior, and keeping their environment calm and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow instructions carefully, and make sure pets feel safe and relaxed.
“Cassandra is great! She is very reliable and has built a fantastic relationship with Maizy in a short amount of time (just a few walks). Maizy excitedly awaits her arrival every morning and goes nuts when she sees Cassandra's vehicle pull up.”

“Thanks for the awesome service and care to my two big dogs throughout 3 days that I was away. First time leaving my dogs at home verses boarding, and thanks to your communication and commitment it was perfect!”

About: From neighbors to strangers, I’ve cared for other people’s pets for some time now. I love animals so much. Long walks cure my soul so having a dog by my side makes it even better!! I attended the Norfolk Aggie in Walpole for high school, so I’ve been around many different types of animals. It’s my passion to care for animals and make them happy! I currently work part time picking up shifts, so my schedule is very flexible. I do attend college courses but won’t be for the summer! I provide fur friends with regular exercise, a safe environment, consistent routines, necessary grooming, AND I always adhere to the specific needs and instructions provided by the pet owner!

About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel as well as a husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I adopted Layla, a pittie/german shepherd mix who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I adopted Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans and dogs alike. I’ve had extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently off of work for the summer and have total flexibility to look after/walk your pups! When I am working during the school year, I have afternoons available to walk your dogs during the work week. I have a wide variety of trails/walking spots I frequent in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I always carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and always engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash.

About: Hello! My name is Kayla and I have been a passionate animal lover for as long as I can remember. My pet care journey began when I was just 17 years old, watching and caring for my family's beloved dog. That experience opened my heart to the joy and companionship that animals bring into our lives. Over the years, my love for animals has only grown, and I now have the pleasure of taking care of three wonderful dogs, two playful cats, and even a turtle! I believe that patience is key when it comes to training and caring for pets. I take the time to understand their individual needs and behaviors, ensuring that they feel safe, loved, and happy. Whether it's teaching new tricks, providing a comforting presence, or simply enjoying playtime, I am dedicated to giving each of my pets the attention and care they deserve. I look forward to sharing my passion for animal care with your furry family members and providing them with a nurturing and enjoyable experience! I’m currently working part time (during the school year - I’m a teacher!) I am very flexible and available on the weekends. I am available throughout the week early in the morning and evenings 5pm. I have a fenced in yard for my pups! They get fed twice a day and get a greenie every night. My cats are easy! They just need love and a clean litter box. One of my cats has asthma and requires medication daily. Our turtle is fed once a day and cleaned regularly!
About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, they are my everything! I used to do dog walking when I was younger and am excited to start again! I helped train my dogs when they were younger so they are very good and listen well. I know they trust me and I trust them.
“Megan is extremely responsive, kind, and responsible. I will absolutely be asking for her services again in the future! I highly recommend her. My pup loved her walks! Thank you, Megan!”

About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. I would like to know a little bit about them beforehand and any preferences or habits they have.

My girls and I are around most of the summer, as I work in a school. We are very active so we would love to be out and about walking and taking care of your dog or taking care of your cats! If I were to come to your home and take care of your pet or walk your dog, I would be very comfortable letting myself in and approaching any time of animal. I would give them all the love in the world an any care or exercise they need!

“Marina is great, she arrives on time and is able to take Hensley out on walks in the woods. Our pup is a little on the shy side and she has been kind enough to gently introduce her to another dog to help with that. Thank you, Marina!”

About: Hi! My name is Annie and I have experience with about every pet you can name. I am 24 years old and live at home with my parents, brother and 4 cats. About: I have been providing in-home pet care for over 4 years now, with plenty of experience walking, caring for, and loving dogs. I have administered medicine, and am cpr and first-aid certified. I currently have 1-2 daily walks scheduled everyday Monday-Friday, and am looking to add up to 6 walks everyday! I’m hoping to have breaks between every 2-3 walks in order to care for any pet I am currently caring for in-home. I will always meet you and your pet(s) before any one on one care to ensure that we are a perfect match! Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my top priority.
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 15, when I became responsible for my first dog. At 20, I started offering dog boarding in my home in Brazil, hosting over 10 dogs with love and dedication. Currently, I live in the United States in a small apartment with my husband, where pets are not allowed. For this reason, I provide pet care exclusively at the client’s home. I discovered Rover as a way to reconnect with the joy of being around dogs and cats, whether for a weekend or an entire month. This experience has been amazing! My husband and I care for the pets together, ensuring they receive twice the love, attention, and playtime. I work flexible hours so I definitely can stay long hours in home and provide a lot of attention for dogs and cats. I love walk and play before I need to leave them alone for a few hours. I do not host at home. We follow all the rules of the clients' homes and the animals' routines. We try our best to exercise the dogs by walking or spending time in the yard.

Corrine has exceeded our expectations. She's a great person who genuinely loves dogs. Corrine has been taking our dog Daisy for walks for the last four weeks. It hasn't been easy as Daisy is a high energy pup and was recovering from surgery. Daisy needed to be kept from jumping/ running. Corrine was very patient and was able to give Daisy what she needed while spending extra time with her after her walks. Daisy immediately bonded with her. Corrine, thank you so much for all you've done. I'm so grateful for you.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
