About: I am a full-time working mom with 2 kids, 3 cats and 1 dog. I have years of experience walking, dog/cat sitting for friends, neighbors, family. I couldn't have a dog as a kid b/c we lived in an apartment so the first chance I was able to get my own dog, my husband and I adopted Buttons in 2009 when she was 4 months old and then Marty in 2013 at 10 weeks old. We also have 3 cats, Buttercup, Sox and Murray. We lost our 2 senior cats, Bruschi in 2024 and Seymour in 2019 at 18 and 12 yrs old. My soul dog, Buttons just passed away in March at 15 yrs old and for the last 9 months I administered daily subcutaneous fluids as well as supplements, probiotics, antibiotics on a daily basis to help support her kidney disease. I built her a wheelchair because she had arthritis but loved to walk and turned my old stroller into a dog stroller for her during her last days. I have another senior dog, Marty who is 12 and although doesn't take daily medication is a very anxious guy so learning to adapt and make his life amazing has been a learning curve since Buttons was such a laid back girl. I feel that dogs and cats and animals in general are an important part of your life, they teach us things that humans cannot and I feel that in my soul. I would be humbled to take care of your pets so that you do not have to worry at all. I work from home and typically can get away during a lunch break. I have the summers off and am pretty available during the weekdays. I have a fenced yard, I have experience walking an aggressive, anxious dog as well as a senior dog who needs to go slow and at her own pace. I have cats and am very conscious, even a bit paranoid at times of doors being left open or the window screens not being secure so I am always double checking those things.

About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. I would like to know a little bit about them beforehand and any preferences or habits they have.

About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel as well as a husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I adopted Layla, a pittie/german shepherd mix who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I adopted Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans and dogs alike. I’ve had extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently off of work for the summer and have total flexibility to look after/walk your pups! When I am working during the school year, I have afternoons available to walk your dogs during the work week. I have a wide variety of trails/walking spots I frequent in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I always carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and always engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash.

“We used to find a neighborhood youth to take care of our outdoor cat when we went away. Our cat is now older and needs transdermal medication applied to his ears twice a day - so 14 visits. It was time to find a reliable adult. Through Rover we connected with Jill who lives nearby and has her own senior cat. We could not be more satisfied with the care she provided. The daily notification of visits with photos were much appreciated - although they did make me miss my pet more. Thank you Jill!”

I have had dogs and guinea pigs since I was born and have over 10 years experience caring for dogs- large, small, and everything in between, as well as cats, small animals, and reptiles. I was also a manager at a pet store where I was trained on all of the safety measures to take around our furry friends! I worked at an exotic animal sanctuary where I received further training on a wide variety of animal care. I am well versed in senior dog care and general obedience training. I would love to help with your fur babies! I am currently on school vacation and looking to take care of some furry friends in my spare time over the summer!
