“Cate is absolutely spectacular! One of cats is very skittish around people and in just a few visits he was out from under the bed, playing, and even sitting in her lap! Cate is incredibly responsive, very attentive to the boys, and super communicative while we were away (including sending tons of pictures of them hanging out!). We will absolutely be using Cate again!!!”

“I highly reccomend Gwen!! My baby had ear issues and she not only gave him his meds, but cleaned his ears for me on her drop ins. She sent me a Rover card and pictures every day. It's such a relief knowing my baby was in good hands 💜. She will be my go to dog person for sure.”

I have a flexible schedule that allows me to step out for pet care as needed. I have half days most of the week and weekends free. I can provide plenty of treats, toys and different levels of stimulation for your pets needs. I am diligent when it comes to cleanliness and safety as well.
“Amazing! Will definitely be rebooking ? my cat fifi was looked after wonderfully. She played with her, fed her, scooped her litter. Sent me pictures of their playtime. Jennifer is the best!”

“Keri was very responsive and made herself available around family obligations. She was timely, sweet and attentive ith my senior pups and my finicky Coco was even comfortable with her. Thank you Keri!”

“Cheryl took great care of my two cats while I was on a two week vacation. She handled food, water, treats, litter, and play just right. From the meet and greet, I could tell she has a sweet and gentle touch and really understands how to relate to cats. Her thorough updates including photos kept me confident that they were in good hands.”

“Sydney is great. Her communication during the visits was awesome. Keep us informed during both visits! Her and Roman had a great time. Highly recommend her services. Will be using her again for future needs!.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid! I have always loved dogs and their sweet, and playful personalities. I would love to take your dog on a walk, and be their friend! I am pretty free throughout the week, I love staying active, and going on walks outside. My schedule this summer is super flexible to take your dog on a walk! I live right next to a dog park, and walking trails! I am happy to drive to any dog park or walking trail as well!

About: I'm a stay at home wife, so I have plenty of time throughout the day to check on your four legged friend. I love all pets, and have never met one I didn't like. I've been taking care of pets my whole life. I had a business as a pre-teen, and I always get asked by my friends and family to watch their pets. I'm a stay at home wife. I had a car accident 2 years ago, and I broke my back. I did a good amount of physical therapy, and my healing has gone well, but I didn't want to return to my job in a bakery. My husband decided to support us, which leaves me free to pursue passions, like pet care and amusemant. I treat my pets like people. I talk to them and listen to them. I work very hard to earn their trust. Cats, I get low to their level and let them look in my eyes, scent my hands. Dogs, I allow to smell me and greet me.
“Jacey is awesome! She took such great care of my 8-year old German Shepherd while we were away at Disney for Thanksgiving week. She was super reliable with her timing, feeding schedule, and walks. So sweet, kind, and helpful, everything you hope for when leaving your fur babies with a sitter. Thank you, Jacey, for taking such good care of Letty! She was so happy when I got back. And an extra thank you for putting out the recycling and trash for me! I’ve used Rover for a while and always found great, trusted sitters and Jacey is definitely one of the best 🙂”

“I would definitely recommend Brianna for your pet care needs. She has excellent communication and provides photos at each visit. She is also dependable so one less worry while you are away.”

I not only have experience in pet care, but also dog training. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pup/kitty! I am currently working per diem so my schedule can be inconsistent. I am always on top of your pets needs whether it is a walk, potty break, play time, feeding & water, or litter scooping; no task is too big or small.
“Needed someone to play ball with my dogs while I was out of town and my wife was home recovering from surgery. Peggy was accommodating and reliable. She helped tire out the pups so my wife could continue to heal. Would definitely use again!”

“Kate was absolutely fantastic. It was the first time using a cat sitter and the first time leaving our cats. We travelled internationally so I really wanted someone I could trust. From the walk through before we travelled, I had an instant warmth and trust with Kate. During our travels she was always on time, her check-ins were very descriptive which I really appreciated and the photos she took of our cats were adorable! I was so happy that our cats welcomed her and warmed up to her very quickly, for not so cuddling cats they were very cuddling with Kate. I would highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking her for future needs. I actually feel sad that my cats won’t be seeing her on the daily for a while and I’m sure the cats are sad too!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bellingham
Gwen took such good care of my boy! He was so happy and content with her while I was away. And she was so good about updating me on his eating and bathroom habits, it really eased my anxiety about being away from him. Couldn’t recommend her enough, will for sure be using her again for my next trip!! Thanks again Gwen ☺️

This was our first time using Rover, and we were so happy to find Angela. She made the entire experience easy and worry free by providing regular updates and photos, and letting us know how our Enzo was doing during their first time together. We booked her for two daily drop ins and everything went smoothly. Knowing that Angela is highly experienced and professional in handling dogs of all sizes and their unique behaviors and quirks gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Thank you so much, Angela!

- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
