“If there was a way to give Jacqueline and her daughter Rihanna a 10 star rating I would happily do so. They are wonderful - very warm and caring to both people and pets! They are also very intuitive in regard to animals and knew exactly how to care for my little dog Mollie with separation anxiety issues. I always know when Mollie is comfortable and happy with a sitter by the way she acts when I drop her off and pick her up. And with Jacqueline and Rihanna Mollie was obviously well loved. They gave her food and meds, walked her and kept us apprised of how Mollie was doing every day, also sending pictures. I couldn’t be happier with these two pet caregivers and definitely plan to use them again in the near future!”

“Whitney and Dave were wonderful taking of Louis during my trip away. My trip was buffeted by storms and they were so understanding about adjusting drop off / pickup. They have two adorable dogs who are very sweet. Whitney asked all the right questions about Louis and provided great and regular updates, with pictures! I highly recommend Whitney and plan to book them for future trips.”

“Misael was great with my dog and very responsive! He took her on short notice after another sitter cancelled and provided updates throughout her stay! Would definitely book with him again.”

“We had a great experience with Nick! ! He was very prompt in helping us with a last minute reservation. Drop off and pick up was easy, and our dog seemed very happy in all the photos and videos, as well as when we picked her up. We would use Nick again.”

“Emilee was wonderful with Benji. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will also use her again in the future. She was great with my fur baby and am so thankful to her!!”

“Olivia was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. While I was away, Olivia sent frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious they weren't just being cared for—they were genuinely loved. Seeing them so relaxed and comfortable made an incredibly stressful time so much easier. Olivia cared not only for my cats but also for me. She understood the emotional weight of everything we were going through and showed so much compassion throughout the entire experience. My boys came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, communicative, and truly treats your pets like family, Olivia is exceptional. I would trust her with Jack and Gus again in a heartbeat, and I'm so grateful we found her.”

“My experience was great!!! Highly recommend. I was a lil last minute, however Enid took her in with open arms. She kept me updated daily with pictures and videos of my dog, and explained how she was doing that day. Definitely going to use Enid for future boarding. Once again, I highly recommend!”

“Adreine is perfect! My dog stayed with her for 8 nights, and this was our first ever experience with Rover. And it turned out great! Adreine sent me a ton of pics and videos during this week with Rex, and that helped a lot while I was far away! She did everything I’ve asked for, including following the special feeding schedule for my dog, as he has a special diet for now and needs to drink more (she mixed water in his food and literally placed water bowls everywhere). Adreine and her husband played with him a lot and I got back a bit spoiled and very happy pup:). She also has a very quiet neighborhood, with no cars around and perfect for the walks outside. I would highly recommend Adreine and her family for your doggie’s stay!”

“Marcia and her husband were wonderful with my golden retriever Theo. I got lots of updates and he got lots of cuddles, walks, and playtime. He came home happy and tired - thank you!!”

“Danielle is awesome!!!! My little guy Cooper can be a handful and she was wonderful with him!! So good that it took him a fews mins to want to come in the house when she dropped him off!!!!! She will be my go to sitter for Cooper for sure!!!!”

“I can’t get over how amazing Dwi is!!! Her & her partner have taken care of my baby twice now, and I could truly not be more pleased. She truly treats your pet like her own, and is constantly keeping me updated. So grateful to have found her!! 💕”

About: I grew up around dogs and cats ,and currently have four of my own! For the past three years, I have been a primary dog sitter for multiple families with animals, ranging in age and needs. Sometimes it’s best to leave our senior friends at home not to worry I have plenty of experience with a variety of medicines and special needs! Don’t forget your favorite, furry feline. I love cats for their sass and attitude! I have completed many beginner, obedience courses, and can help you and your family train a well mannered walker! I am currently enrolled in virtual school with extremely flexible hours and location! While I am home the majority of the day, there are times when I leave for athletics. I walk all animals on leash at all times unless in a fenced area such as a fenced backyard or dog park. I always make sure to bring water on a hot day!
“Lydia was great with our dog, Kona had a blast running around with her pups in the fenced in yard. She sent us plenty of pics and videos, and was very communicative. Would definitely have her watch Kona again!”

“Gilly had a great stay over the holidays with Bridget. We appreciated all of the video and photo updates - it was pretty clear Gilly was getting a solid amount of time outside, playing fetch, and having a great stay.”

“Lyndsey and Evan took amazing care of Azalea. She’s energetic so the fact that they took her on multi/mile hikes and played with her so much was awesome. You can just tell they love animals. Azalea came back happy and tired.”

“My Dog Bella means the world to me. After booking with Lindsay, I have nothing but positive reviews for Bella’s stay. Her house, environment was clean. Lindsay was warm, professional and I could tell without a doubt that Bella would be safe and happy. In the future, I will use noone but Lindsay!! Five stars with ease!!!!”
“There are not enough words to express how happy we are with Simone. I almost don’t want to say how good she is so she will always have room for us!! This was our first time leaving our 8 month old puppy. Simone let us come over and meet her before we booked and while we were away sent over 10 pics a day! She even let my husband call her to check in!! She was receptive to how spoiled our dogs needs were and was even fine with his few annoying habits. I STRONGLY recommend Simone!!!!”

“Our dog Baily had such a great time with Maeve that we didn’t think he would want to leave. Maeve is very conscientious to each individual dog’s needs (she takes great note!). I would highly recommend anyone to have their dog stay with Maeve. She’s great”

Julie and team were awesome, daily updates, terrific accommodations and the perfect yard for hours of playtime. Our Luke enjoyed his stay and meeting, mingling and playing with the other guests. Highly recommend if you are in the MetroWest area, conveniently located and superior communications.

Jessica was amazing with my giant, goofy lap dog! She was diligent and thoughtful in organizing our meet and greet with her adorable pup. She’s clearly experienced, caring, and responsible. I got some adorable pics of Marv having a swim in her back yard and he was happy and healthy as can be when I picked him up. I’d happily book with Jessica again on my next trip where Mr. Marv can’t join me 🐶☺️

Andrew was a fantastic dog sitter for our mini Goldendoodle, Hop. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he has a Goldendoodle of his own—our dogs got along really well and seemed to enjoy their time together. Andrew sent us daily updates, which we really appreciated, and he was always very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was clear Hop was in great hands the entire time. We’ll definitely be booking with Andrew again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
