“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Family members, friends, neighbors, etc. have always had pets and have relied on me to take care of them for periods of time. I work on a hybrid schedule, so I am home most Mondays, Fridays - Sundays all day. When I am in the City working I have breaks where I can walk dogs that are close by as well. I don’t have any pets in my home, I live with my fiance who has grown up owning multiple dogs at a time. We have no children in the home either. We live in a townhouse with a front and back yard.

Even knowing it was likely to be a one-time dog-sitting opportunity - or at least very occasional - Megan was very responsive, arranged a meeting with her dog in advance, and when the day came, the two dogs and Megan all got along great! Bentley seemed happy to see us but reluctant to leave when we picked him up! And we got a lot of feedback and pictures during both days of his one-night stay. We live in a house with our own private fenced in dog park in the back. My wife is always home as she works from home and I work overnight so your pet will never be alone. We love to care for all dogs or other animals! We have 2 young children so your dog must be good around kids as well. If you have any questions please message me. Unfortunately at the time we are not accepting any large breeds (dogs that stand really tall on 4 legs) unless they are a small puppy and are 35-40lbs or less. We also do not take dogs that mark all over the house, one accident is expected when nervous in a new environment and we understand. We do charge extra $20 if you run out of food or we need to feed your dog our own food because dog food is costly these days. We also will charge a $200 cleaning fee for dogs who do mark all over the house because as stated we do not take dogs that do this. We are am extremely flexible with pet schedules, as of right now we bring our own dogs out every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and playtime outdoors. We visit a local dog park and we also have a yard. We have our own yard and we will be outside with your dog on leash, never left unsupervised, safety for everyone is important to us. We will always be very transparent with you.

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel & a very large husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I rescued a German shepherd/pit bull mix (Layla) who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I rescued Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans & dogs alike. I’ve completed extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently available throughout the work week at any time (as an educator on summer break). As of September 1st, I will be available from 2pm into the early evening. Book early to save a spot right at 2! I know a wide variety of trails/walking spots in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I make sure to carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and try to engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash. Within your home, I’ll always change/refill the water for the dog(s) after the walk.

For 6 years I have been a volunteer and a foster at Forever Home Rescue in Medfield for the dogs that are brought up North weekly to find a home. We have fostered almost 30 dogs in our house & ONLY foster-failed with ONE, Pongo 🐶😊 I work a hybrid schedule currently and go into the office 2 to 3 days a week. I generally do not do week long boardings due to my work schedule, however it can sometimes be arranged depending on the week and our work schedules, so please feel free to still request! I have a fenced-in yard and two dogs, Izzy, a 5 year old Golden Retriever and Pongo, a 4 year old Lab/Weimaraner mix. They are both very sweet and happy pups who are used to sharing their home with dog- guests (whether boarding or fosters). When they were younger they went to daycare 2x a week and are well socialized and good with sharing their toys/beds/treats/etc. Pongo can be weary/protective the first time he meets a new dog and may give a growl or 2, but warms up quickly once he realizes they are friendly! Izzy and Pongo are both on the calmer side, and do best with dogs who will play/wrestle/run with them outside and then relax, lounge, and chew on some Benebones inside with them! Your dog is free to nap and hangout on the couch, dog beds, or our bed.

About: I've grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. I have cared for pets while friends/family were away and enjoy doing so. I love spending time with animals. At the moment I am part time and have my daughter. My schedule is very open. Even on my work days I am free the first half of the day. However you want them taken care of is how I will do so. I have been the one all of my friends and family always rely on to help walk, feed, bathe, and take care of their pets. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. Adreine sent me a ton of pics and videos during this week with Rex, and that helped a lot while I was far away! She did everything I’ve asked for, including following the special feeding schedule for my dog, as he has a special diet for now and needs to drink more (she mixed water in his food and literally placed water bowls everywhere). Adreine and her husband played with him a lot and I got back a bit spoiled and very happy pup:). She also has a very quiet neighborhood, with no cars around and perfect for the walks outside.
