“Jennifer was great! Sent tons of photos and even left us flowers! She took our 5 months old puppy out and then spent some time with him in our home before leaving. Max was a very happy boy when we came home from work!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid! I have always loved dogs and their sweet, and playful personalities. I would love to take your dog on a walk, and be their friend! I am pretty free throughout the week, I love staying active, and going on walks outside. My schedule this summer is super flexible to take your dog on a walk! About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 15, when I became responsible for my first dog. At 20, I started offering dog boarding in my home in Brazil, hosting over 10 dogs with love and dedication. Currently, I live in the United States in a small apartment with my husband, where pets are not allowed. For this reason, I provide pet care exclusively at the client’s home. I discovered Rover as a way to reconnect with the joy of being around dogs and cats, whether for a weekend or an entire month. This experience has been amazing! My husband and I care for the pets together, ensuring they receive twice the love, attention, and playtime. I work flexible hours so I definitely can stay long hours in home and provide a lot of attention for dogs and cats. I love walk and play before I need to leave them alone for a few hours. I do not host at home. We follow all the rules of the clients' homes and the animals' routines. We try our best to exercise the dogs by walking or spending time in the yard.

“Keri was great with our two dogs. She was very responsive and followed all my instructions. The dogs loved her. She sent me live updates and photos which were great! I’ll definitely use her again in the future.”

“Kiley did a fantastic job with both of our dogs, even on her first visit. She arrived on time and quickly bonded with them. They had a long, enjoyable walk and returned home happy and well-exercised. When they encountered a neighbor's dog, Kiley wisely picked up our little one to prevent any potential issues. We highly recommend her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bellingham
Cassandra is absolutely wonderful! We are so thankful to have met her. She loves our animals as much as we do, she’s easy to communicate with, and goes beyond what we ask! We’ve had her come take care of our pets several times and she’s amazing each and every time.

Daniela has earned 100 percent of my trust in taking care of my pup for the past five years. Her love for animals is so clear from the first time you meet her (and when she first meets your pet). She truly adores animals, especially dogs and cats. My dog, a coonhound (whose eight years old now) really love her and loves to sit on her lap, and of course to go on walks with her. My dog is incredibly sweet, but has some anxiety, and Daniela is always tuned right into state of mind and adjust things like duration and location of walks to accommodate what my dog needs. And when my pup sits on Daniela’s lap and gets comforted you can just see the anxiety melt away. They have a great bond together, which not every dog walker/sitter has. Highest possibly recommendation for Daniela!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
