“Eliza made sure our two cats were well taken care of and gave them lots of love and attention. We loved knowing they were in good hands while we were out of town. Would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 9 years and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. Friends, family, neighbors, and local families have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for their dogs while they’re away. I genuinely love being around dogs and strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or relaxing companionship, I’ll provide attentive and dependable care tailored to their needs. As a recent college graduate, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your dog. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and overnight care throughout the week and on weekends. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any specific care requests. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs, and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable and secure. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your dog is receiving the same love and attention they get at home.

“Samantha was great! We recently adopted a very active and playful kitten. She did a fantastic job keeping him occupied and safe while we were away. Samantha was very punctual and had great communication. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Elizabeth took great care of our cat Bernie for 3 days. We always worry about leaving him with a pet sitter because he can be shy and skittish and doesn't always warm up to people he doesn't know. Elizabeth has the magic touch because Bernie was always (and immediately!) happy to see her and even came out to play. When we got back, Bernie was happy, well-adjusted and his usual goofy self. Definitely recommend Elizabeth to anyone seeking a reliable, friendly and professional pet sitter!”

“Michaela was fantastic with her drop in visits! She took such great care of our dog and sent very detailed updates! She followed all instructions and really had us feeling comfortable knowing he was in great hands! We are so happy and appreciative! :)”

“Layal is an incredible and reliable sitter. If you are unsure of who to choose to look after your pets take this as your sign to go with her! Jackson absolutely loves her as well.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I’m the proud owner of a golden. We walk 3-4 miles a day in the woods behind my house. My cousin has my dogs sister and we have weekly play dates to keep them together! My sister also has an American bully and I love breed! He often comes over for sleep overs and he is my best running buddy! Pet care is extremely important to me! I start my day with play time and long walks! I also think it is very important to keep my dog socialized I put her in daycare once a week to keep her comfortable with all dogs. My day always end with play time typically fetch outside and snuggles on the couch! My dog Rollie is my best friend. I work from home 2 days a week and either my husband or I are home early the other days. This allows for a lot of working from the deck sitting in the sun! I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I would love to set up a meet and greet so we can all get to know each other. Looking forward to adding a friend for Rollie on our nature walks!
“Emily took great care of our 3 pups over 7 days, is super accommodating, flexible with shifting scheduler and super friendly. We returned to happy and healthy pups - highly recommend Emily!”

“Anna is our dog's favorite human other than us! She is so kind, so accommodating, and such a warm presence. I never worry when I leave my dogs with her, and they can't wait to see her again!”

About: I’ve walked/sat for dogs since I was a kid. I’ve grown up with a dog and now have my own at the age of 25 I am in Norwood living with my partner and looking for work, I decided to put a profile together and take care of pets to earn some money in the mean time. They’re allowed all the free play space in the open living area. Lots of space to run around. We’re close to a field for fetch and walks and I am more than happy to drive to a fenced in dog park. I have a vehicle and can drive to your home as well to hang out in the pets home if need be. I trained my dog by myself she is very responsible. She is energetic but kind and cuddly. She knows how to sit, come, stay, play dead, sit pretty, give paw, and loves fetch
About: Happily rejoining the Rover community Fall of 2023 after a two year hiatus and welcoming a baby into our lives! We are committed and loving caretakers of our dogs and will give your dogs the same love and attention. We are located in Medfield, MA. We completely understand the feeling of leaving your dog in the hands of other people so we will do whatever possible to make you (and your dog) comfortable. We have no problem giving periodic updates, taking pictures/videos, and scheduling a FaceTime session to check in on your pup! We both work from home and have plenty of flexibility. We have two pups of our own and we get outside daily to make sure they are getting plenty of play time and exercise. First, and most importantly, we over-communicate with all of our clients unless specifically requested not to. New environments often invoke anxiety in dogs BUT we have plenty of space indoors and outdoors for your pup to run around and be comfortable. We also make sure to follow owner instructions precisely and check in regularly if we notice anything unusual with your pet. We are a part of the Rover community because we love dogs and want to ensure that folks feel comfortable while away from their fur baby.
“Jill took care of our cats during a long weekend, making sure one of them got their meds everyday. She was reliable and completed reports with photos to make sure we knew they were being well taken care of. We would book with her again!”

Samantha is so good with our kitty! She is so good about responding to messages quickly and always messages is right away if she observes something out of the ordinary. Rose is absolutely fantastic with our pups! She is incredibly reliable, always showing up on time and consistently coming for all of the days we have scheduled. She takes great pictures of them during each visit so I know how they are doing. We feel extremely fortunate to work with Rose.

Olivia is amazing! She watched our three high-energy dogs. We have a small Doodle, a medium Doodle, and a very large Golden Retriever. They loved her! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
