1. Jeffrey M.

“Jeff was so kind and took great care of our two cats while we were away for the holiday weekend. Our girls can be very timid and they warmed up to him no problem. He came over and met with us on short notice, and was very professional. Highly recommend his services to anyone. Thanks again!!”

2. Charlene H.

“Charlene is remarkably conscientious and skillful. She watched our dog Scout this past weekend and was unflappable. First, there was a coyote in the yard. Then, a power outage. Then, my dog's anxiety about thunder kept her up all night during a storm. I felt reassured that Scout was in good hands during this challenging weekend. I recommend Charlene without hesitation.”

3. Randy D.

“Randy was extremely professional and accommodating. Stella takes awhile to warm up to people and I think (in her way) she took to Randy. I always hate leaving Stella so the pictures were greatly appreciated.”

4. Salina B.

“Salina did an amazing job taking care of our almost 14 year old sassy and deaf dachshund Bella. Salina spent the week at our home while we went on vacation, and I cannot express what a wonderful job she did. It's not easy earning Bella's trust, but by the end of the week I believe they were best friends! Lots of cuddles and love! The pictures put my heart at ease, I could tell Bella was being lovingly cared for. Salina had to also deal with a power outage for a day at our complex, and also some technical issues that came afterward, and communication was seamless. Also, our home was spotless on our return! Thanks Salina for everything!”

5. Marissa D.
“Marissa is a very responsible and trustworthy dog owner and caretaker. As a former roommate of hers, I watched her completely transform her rescue from a timid, anxious dog into a calm, loving, and playful best friend. I would even go as far to say she puts the needs of her pets above her own (in the best way). If I needed someone to take care of my dog she would undoubtedly be my first call, and she should be yours, too!”

6. Donna L.

“Words can not express my gratitude. I am eternally thankful. Donna becomes one of my family. My animals loved her and wanted to be around with her. I have 4 cats and one dog. Two cats are very sick. One with a heart murmur and another with diabetes and pancreatic abcess. They need constant care, medications, insulin shots, and heart murmur shots twice a day. I thought we would never find anyone willing to be with 5 animals and take care of sick cats with medications and shots 24/7. But , luckily, we found Donna. She retired pharmacists, and she did everything like most animal caretakers would not. Make no reservation. Donna is simply the best. We couldn't possibly even dream about anyone can handle this with such a care and dedication. We have contacted many Rover Stars, but they didn't even come close to our very complicated demands, but Donna not just did what she was ased for but exceeded all our expectation. She is the dream come true for any cats or dog owners!”

7. Jainah E.

“Jainah was wonderful with my needy pup Xie Xie and took great care to make sure he ate. She hand fed him with out my asking! I was updated on walks and her care and couldn’t be more grateful!”

8. Nathalia J.
“Nathalia is such a kind and caring individual who will undoubtedly provide top-notch care for your pets! She's an extremely reliable person who always goes above & beyond the call of duty. I couldn't recommend a more amazing pet sitter!”

9. Tricia R.

“Tricia was fantastic! Took such good care of our dogs and house and was so responsive to messages and sent some many cute photos while we were away.”

10. Susan S.
“It is clear from the outset how much Susan truly enjoys dogs and gives them her full attention. She energetically cares for them with walks and hikes in the woods. While I was away, I received regular updates, and photos of their adventures together as well as their quiet moments together. When I came home my dog, Scellig, was clearly well cared for and relaxed. Susan is loving and professional and I would trust her with my pets completely.”

11. Julia B.

“Julia is a very kind sweet young woman who I immediately felt comfortable leaving in my home with my Tiger. Periodicly, while I was away, she sent me pictures of him and how he was doing and it really made my day I had a great time because I didn't have to worry about him at home alone! I would highly highly recommend Julia for any of your pets needs she is trustworthy kind and loving. I will definitely be calling her again for anything my tiger needs!!! She is 5 star care all the way!!!!”

12. Nicole V.

“Nicole was great with cider, took her for a walk and spent time with her on our night out. Would definitely book again!”

13. Yusi X.
“Yusi is absolutely the most companionate and loving person I know. She is a PhD and reads a lot about dog behaviors or nutrient research in her spare time. She would cook (coconut oil with salmon, turkey and veggies, and etc.), massage, and play with dogs for hours to ensure their well-being. She’s so patient with dogs, especially her pup Pheno. I was living with her during the pup’s potty training period, Pheno was not a particular fast learner, but Yusi never lost her temper. She has always encouraged the dog, using positive reinforcement. Now Pheno becomes a little angel that has never peed inside. She takes Pheno to the Huntington dog beach regularly, and she never misses the dog walk twice a day. She’s experienced with dogs as she grew up with dogs. She’s definitely a responsible and trustworthy dog lover you can rely on.”

14. Dakota L.

“Dakota saved us at the last second when our regular rover sitter was taken and we couldn’t find anyone for our long vacation. She showed up on time for the meet and greet and was so pleasant and friendly; our dog Grafton took right to her. She had great communication and left the house spotless. Thanks so much Dakota!”

15. Carolyn F.

“Second experience with Carolyn, and I’m her fan for life! She was absolutely amazing with my still-in-training, super energetic dog! She cared for him way better than I would have. She gave him tons of walks, managed his energy really well and even nursed him back from an upset tummy. I’m so grateful that I found Carolyn to help me with my dog.”

16. Sophia C.
“Sophia loves dogs. All of them. Big and small. I haven't seen her walk by a dog without wanting to hug it. Her first love is her first dog, Max. She loves taking him on walks and runs. She's very trustworthy and reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to have her walk my precious pup!”

17. Ashley V.
“Ashley is incredible with pets. We had a cat for most of her childhood. She loved that cat and spoiled him rotten. She was always playing with him, carrying him around like a baby and cuddling up with him. Our next pet was a bulldog. When Ashley went away to college, she would actually call to talk to the dog. Whenever she came home, we had to let the dog out to greet her because the dog would get so excited to see Ashley she would pee! When she got married, she got 2 cats in the bargain. Even though those cats technically belong to her husband, they're HER cats. They both have health issues including insulin-dependent diabetes and Ashley takes care of them like they're her children. I can't imagine anyone would take better care of someone's pet than Ashley. Her love for animals knows no bounds.”

18. Ella T.

“Ella took great care of our golden retriever. It was so nice to get updates and pictures throughout her stay. Ranger seemed happy and well taken care of upon our return. We appreciate her leaving the house tidy and would definitely use her again in the future.”

19. Joseph & Alexandra C.

“Easton had fun playing and having a buddy for the night. He was well taken care of”

20. Genevieve H.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love for animals and the hands-on experience I bring. I’ve worked with pets of all ages—from playful puppies who need training and structure to senior pets who need extra patience, comfort, and care. I’m reliable, attentive, and make it a priority to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s administering meds, helping with basic commands, or just giving them some extra love and attention, I go above and beyond to make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and at home. I currently do not have a job so I can come by whenever I am needed! I am not busy 99% of the time but I will be very vocal with the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely, and make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. I keep their space clean and safe, and take the time to understand their individual needs—whether that means giving extra cuddles, keeping things calm for an anxious pet, or adding in some fun enrichment activities. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
