“This was my first time using Rover and it was an amazing experience because of Aly. She communicated with us right from the start and set up a meet and greet where she asked questions about our puppy's routine, needs, and preferences. We were nervous immediately felt very comfortable leaving our brand new puppy with her. Aly sent daily updates and pictures throughout our vacation and we could tell our dog was comfortable and happy. Aly felt like an extension of the family right away and we I couldn't recommend her more. We will definitely look to have her watch our dog in the future.”

“It was totally comforting to have Lucy stay with Whitney and her husband. They were very nurturing, and very flexible with my timing. Lucy had a wonderful time there, and they treated Lucy like she was one of her own.”

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“Jodi was great with Champ! She made him feel right at home and treated him like part of the family. Champ had dog friends to play with, went on walks, and got plenty of attention. It was clear he was happy and comfortable the entire time. Champ usually has a hard time staying with others, but Jodi made the experience easy and stress-free for him. I really appreciated the care and patience she showed. I will definitely be using Jodi again for my future travel plans. Highly recommend!”

“Dana is the best sitter around! He went above and beyond when we forgot to bring a leash and bowl insisting he could take care of it and that he would buy a leash! He is so kind and understanding. Best of all, once again Bella absolutely loved her stay with Dana”

“Sarah and her family went above and beyond durin our senior dog’s recent stay. From daily walks and snuggles to administering medication and a special diet, Sarah made us feel comfortable leaving our pup. We so appreciated the daily videos and pictures and the opportunity to meet with Sarah beforehand. And it was no problem when she had to refill one of our dogs medications. Truly heroic! Thank you, thank you, for everything! Buddy loved his stay with you!”

“Kayla did an excellent job. She was very communicative and prepared and our dog was very happy staying with her. We will definitely have her sit again and highly recommend her!”

“Dymin is the best! We left our two dogs (ages 13 and 2) with her for several nights. She took them on lots of walks, sent us tons of pictures and gave them very personalized care for their different needs and energy levels. Dymin is clearly a dog lover as she had a way with the dogs from our first meeting... tails wagging and happy to stay with her. She was very responsive to any texts and we felt completely assured that our dogs were in great hands. We would recommend her unconditionally!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl. I would trust her with any pet of mine. She is very communicative and was wonderful with Robi. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to others.”

“Wanda seemed really kind and caring from the second Koda met her! She took care of him for a week while we were on vacation and it seems like he had a great time playing with Wanda’s pup, Casey. It would be nice if Wanda provided more daily updates, I had to ask a few times to see how he was doing. Overall, Wanda seems like a very kind and reliable sitter.”

“Sarah and Ben went above and beyond while watching our dog. He celebrated his birthday with them and they send us several pictures and spoiled him with treats. Great communication, easy pick up and drop off, and trust knowing our boy is in great hands.”

“We feel so lucky and grateful to have met Jamie and her family. Our dog Jaxon had the best time and we never had to worry about him. While we were busy moving our college student, Jamie and her family made it so easy for us to focus on that, knowing Jaxon was cared for and happy.”

“Jessie was great with our 2 dogs. She was very caring and took their individual needs into account to ensure she was creating a comfortable experience for our dogs that tend to be a bit anxious. She was communicative throughout the entire stay and sent picture/updates. Very professional and would recommend Jessie to anyone.”

“Paula was wonderful about my very high energy pup Olive. It was great getting photos of Olive swimming, running around with other dogs, and really living it up while staying with Paula. We can tell she LOVED her stay and felt very comfortable there. Thanks, Paula! Hope Olive can come stay again one day.”
“Tianyue was great. she was very flexible at dropping off and picking up time. she gave me a daily summary of sansa’s activities. she also sent me a lot of pictures and video. i highly recommend her. i would use her service again.”

“Charlie had a great 10 day stay with Alec and Damien. Communication was fast and efficient. It was Charlie’s first time staying with someone who wasn’t family or friends, but after the meet and greet I knew that they would take great care of him. I received updates (with pictures) while on my vacation and I would choose them again if needed. Highly recommend them to care for your dog as one of their own.”
“Daniel and his dog Annie were a wonderful match for our dog, Tegan. He even arranged a meet-up beforehand so the dogs could get to know each other, which gave us peace of mind. During Tegan’s stay, Daniel sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Tegan usually takes a day or two to settle in and start eating when she’s in a new environment, but with Daniel and Annie she felt right at home from the start. We’ll definitely ask Daniel to watch Tegan again in the future!”

“Aly was a very attentive sitter and took very good care of Zuko. They played a lot, and gave me regular updates. She also followed all instructions and took good care of my apartment, cleaning up after any mess left behind. I would gladly book with Aly again!”

“Lizz was fantastic with my cat, Audrey! I was worried about leaving for an extended trip knowing that I needed someone to watch my fur baby, especially as my cat needs twice daily asthma inhaler treatments. Lizz was very kind and gentle with Audrey. She stopped by before I left on my trip to make sure Audrey was comfortable with her and that she was able to manage the inhaler treatments before I left. She kept me updated via pics and texts. I think they became fast friends while I was away! I would definitely use Lizz again in the future.”

“Sarah was attentive to my cats needs and sent me photos everyday. I really appreciated the piece of mind she gave me knowing that my cat was well taken care of during my trip.”

“Second time I’ve had Yanira take care of Ruthie and she did a great job! Ruthie can be shy but comes out every time for Yanira. Will happily book her again!”

About: I have been a dog owner for many years, with a major preference for small dogs. Not only do I have lots of experience caring for my own pets, but I have sat and cared for the dogs of many different friends and family, as well as those I don’t personally know well, over the years. I am patient, loving, always try to have fun with the dogs, and always try to give them the best care possible. I’ve had dogs all my life. I got my first dog, Lukey, when I was young and he was my best friend. Originally got him for my mother to keep her company, but fell in love with him myself and made him my own once she passed. I’d take him through the woods on walks and we eventually became inseparable. He passed at age 18. Eventually I met a woman who had two dogs of her own and they became like my kids. I had them for many years, although sadly they are all passed now as well. Currently I help care for two dogs with my ex who lives in the apartment below me, as we are still good friends. I make sure they are well cared for and take them out regularly. I love to play with them. I take dogs very seriously as they are like family to me. I can currently work Monday-Saturday, with exceptions. I do have to schedule around some minor things early in the morning, and those take priority, and those can be discussed, but otherwise I’m completely free. I love animals and always try to give them 100% of the love and attention they deserve. I feed them, walk them, take them out and play with them, and always try to give them my best. I’ve always treated my own dogs as if they were my children, and I extend that to any dog I care for.
“Molly was absolutely fantastic! She assured me she catproofed her apartment, sent me updates, and made she my kitties felt comfortable. Thank you so much Molly, I’m glad I had such a kindhearted person looking after my cats. Definitely will be rebooking and recommending her to my family and friends! 💕🐱”

“Katie was a greater communicator and completely reliable. She handled our cat’s different medications with confidence and even won over our hissy little guy!”

“James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

About: Hey, I’m Xavier! I love animals, and I’m lucky enough to have a flexible job that allows me the time to care for your furry friends. I’ve always loved and cared for animals. It's truly second nature to me. My last dog was a beautiful brindle pitbull mix named Coco who had an unexpected stroke, which left her back legs paralyzed. For years I did everything from changing her diaper and daily walks to aquatics, specialized dog food, and homemade meals. I take the health of animals as a priority. Animals are like our children, and we treat every pet with the individualized care we would give our own, as they deserve. My home is cleaned by 100% ALL NATURAL ingredients, so your pets will be safe from harmful chemicals. I am very familiar with supporting health conditions such as muscular complications and ear infections, and we are 100% FLEA FREE! We both work from home and are available all day for your pets. Your pet will have all the attention and love that they need! From morning jogs to administering medication, we make a schedule pertaining to your dogs specific needs. We are respectful of your property and will follow any specific instructions if given.

“Megan was great at taking care of my two cats! They are usually pretty nervous and shy around strangers, but she was able to get one to come out and have some treats. She went above and beyond what I expected and gave me greats pictures and summaries from each visit! I will definitely be booking again.”

“Karen was amazing! Super communicative and reliable - she also went above and beyond in cleaning up when our kitty made a mess and send great photos and videos that helped us feel comfortable and confident in her services. We could tell our kitty appreciated her visits as well!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who truly enjoys caring for pups of all breeds and personalities. Throughout my life I've been so fortunate to care for three dogs from the days we first brought them home as puppies to their last days. I feel very comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. Spending time with and caring for my friends' and family's dogs has always been a big part of my life. I treat every dog like my own, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I offer dog walking, daycare (at your home or mine), and boarding (again at your home or mine), and regardless of your pup's needs they’ll be in caring hands. I look forward to taking care of your dog! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can easily accommodate daytime walks, playtime, and love to have a dog-friend close by while I am working. Whether it's for day care or an overnight, how I care for your dog can be tailored to your dog's needs. I have frequently stayed overnight at the owner's house, including places pretty far from my own home. Several of the photos in my profile are with dogs that I cared for while traveling! Your dogs' safety, health, physical activity needs, dietary needs, and need for snuggling (or need for space if you have a less social or timid pup) are really what's most important. In my home you are welcome to bring a crate, your dog's favorite toys or bed, food/snacks, as well as anything else your dog might need. We also have a very large sectional that we bought with dog-snuggling in mind, but if you have any rules with your dog that are important for me to reinforce, I will absolutely respect that.

“Ann Marie did a wonderful job looking after our cat, Noodle! She sent us updates with photos every day and we returned home to a happy and healthy cat. Would absolutely recommend her and use her again to cat-sit!”

“Jiaming was great, as usual! The cats love her, and she does a wonderful job of checking in on them. It gives us peace of mind to know that they are safe and happy because of her care.”

About: Hi! I’m a full-time dog handler with Boston for the Dogs, and your pup’s new favorite human. I’ve got real-world experience with: Basic obedience & leash skills Light socialization for shy or rowdy pups Solo walks, group walks, and pack hikes all over the city I’ve raised and worked with dogs my whole life — so when yours is with me, they’re treated like family. I show up on time, read the vibe, and make sure your dog feels safe, seen, and totally spoiled (in the right ways). Let’s make your life easier — and your dog’s a lot more fun. I’m a full-time dog handler, so pet care is already built into my daily routine — making sure animals are safe, happy, and cared for is second nature. I offer part-time pet sitting from my home, and I’m available for longer stays if I’m caring for your pup in your home. I also do afternoon drop-ins, weekday and weekend walks, and morning let-outs before 9 AM. Whether I’m stopping by or staying over, I follow your instructions to a T — feeding, meds, crate time, you name it. Your dog gets daily exercise, lots of love, and the kind of attention that makes them feel like you're still home. You can count on me to provide reliable, attentive care and maintain the standards your pet is used to.

About: I was born into a home with cats, therefore I have 47 years of experience being in their presence. For all of my adult life, I have had my own cats and have helped others take care of theirs by feeding, playing, scooping the litter and taking them out for walks on a kitty-leash. I have experience with ferrel, skittish, playful, needy and calm personalities. Presently my family and I have 2 tuxedo kitties whom we adopted 9 years ago. I love cats.
“I'm very thankful for Wanda because I was away overseas and my previous sitter had to cancel.. this was not a situation any pet parent should ever be put through and I was able to get ahold of Wanda who came to the rescue even without me being there to show her the procedure for taking care of my 2 cats. (Granted, I had a Youtube video giving an overview of the process and I gave her the codes to my lockbox and my home alarm which all went smoothly.)”

“If I could imagine a perfect situation for my new puppy, Greta, Sarah’s home would be it. She is a true dog lover and immediately bonded with Greta (and us!) when we first met. She has also been incredibly helpful in continuing Greta’s training, even when we’re not around, which has made such a positive impact on her development. Greta gets so excited to go to daycare and always comes home happily exhausted. We love seeing the photos of her playing with Sarah’s dogs, it’s clear she’s having a great time, and it’s also helped her learn how to socialize and interact with other dogs. We feel completely at ease knowing Greta is in Sarah’s care, it truly feels like she has a second family. We couldn’t recommend Sarah more highly for any of your dog-sitting needs!”

“Kayla took great care of Ruby while dog sitting. She provided plenty of updates and my pup had fun day with Kayla and her family. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kayla again for sitting!”

“Kayla was super kind and flexible with us ! We let him one afternoon and he was really nice after ! She send us photos of him ! Thanks again for your time ❤️ 🇫🇷”

“Our Cockapoo pup had a wonderful time with Jess and her family. She kept me up to date on Coco’s activities through the day with pictures and communication. Will definitely use Jess to board Coco in the future.”

About: As dedicated pet owners, for the past two years, my partner, and I have cared for our two beloved cats, Sylvia, and Meatball, and our playful puppy, Saturn, a pitbull boxer mix who loves making new furry friends. We pride ourselves are being detail, oriented, and committed to ensuring that every pet in our care feels at home with constant updates and being always available to answer questions and offer constant reassurance. We are at adult only home with everything that you may need including bowls, toys, and a crate. We will follow all instructions to T and make sure that, your fur baby is in loving and capable hands. My partner and I are typically available on the weekends unless otherwise. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so if needed for a day or for any other services, including walking, I would be available. My partner and I like to stick to a routine for all of our pets And in the care of another fur baby we would ideally like to stick to the same routine that we implemented in our home. In terms of behavior, we are willing to help pets with basic commands, while, watching out for any unusual signs of the pets behavior and notifying the parent ahead of time just ensure that everyone is on the same page. When going outside for exercise, we will ensure that your dog is in a close space unless you stay otherwise just for safety and security.
“Brian was easy to communicate with during the day. Milo appeared comfortable and at ease in pictures. Brian was very diligent in taking Milo out for walks and making him feel safe.”

“Jamie was great! Was flexible with an early pickup, communicated quickly, and took good care of our pup. Benji immediately made himself at home and seemed sad to go, he enjoyed his time with Jamie and Sammie.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, and they have always been one of my major passions. From small animals, to dogs and cats, to chickens, livestock, and horses - I've seen it all! I spent some time as a animal science/pre-vet student before Covid, and worked for a horse breeder/trainer for 3 years where I coordinated daily care for our animals, as well as helped client's with training and lessons while taking a break from university. I have since graduated and been immersed in the world of financial services for the last few years, and work from home along with my father. We both enjoy walking, and live right on the Blue Hills Skyline trail, so can go for a quick loop or 9 mile hike out of our back door. We also have a gated portion of the yard off of the patio, as well as a large front grass field that are all welcome to be taken advantage of by our four-legged friends. We lost our family dog about 2 years ago and enjoy having a furry friend in the house, but are not ready for the heartbreak that eventually comes along with bringing another dog into our family. We would love to host your dog as a part of our family to enjoy our attention, care, and access to great outdoor amenities for a dog that likes to explore, sniff, or go on hikes. Also great for a dog that enjoys having a fenced area. I work from home every day of the week, so I don't have any requirements to be out of the house. I tend to wake up on the earlier side and enjoy going for a walk, as well as a walk around lunchtime and the evening. I am consistent with whatever routine your dog requires, and like to cater towards what makes them the happiest and most at home. Your dog will have nearly 24/7 attention, and I am very glad to provide! We have a number of options in our home depending on your comfortability with your dogs access to the home/garden. We have a fenced area off of the side of the house with an attached mudroom (if dogs prefer to sleep alone, this can be a good option), as well as a large front field and access to the Blue Hills hiking trails. The kitchen is gated, so we tend to spend time in this space with the dog to keep an eye on them. We have a large crate available and are happy to set up your dogs crate if needed. We are happy to allows the dogs on the living room couch, but can keep them off if you prefer them to keep their feet on the floor - we have a large variety of dog beds as well throughout the house. The dogs are welcome in the bed/bedroom depending on your preferences, just let me know where you would like them to stay. There are currently no animals in the home.

“We were delighted with the care for Hugo. We were nervous about leaving him with a new family in unaccustomed surroundings but he clearly had a nice time and was very relaxed when he came home.”

“Blair was everything we could have hoped for! She took great care of our dog Leo and took him on 2 walks during his day with her. She was super responsive and sent great photos. We will definitely continue to use Blair for any daycare needs in the future!”

“Wanda was very responsive and able to accomidate my dog at the last minute. She did a great job taking care of my pup for the day and I'd definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a good sitter.”

“I highly recommend Ling & Ye...they were fantastic! Our schedule was more dynamic than we had intended and they were very flexible. Our boy Riley, 1-year old Golden, had great time and can't wait to get back to see his new friends!”

“Julie and Patrick have been unbelievable with Annie. They provide a very calming environment for her which is exactly what she needs. Annie is a recent rescue and has some trust issues with people. I cannot think of anyone we would rather leave Annie with as we know she will be welcomed and well looked after.”
“My pup has done daycare with Jason three times now and she runs up to his front door excited each time. Jason shares photos and videos each day and maps of their walks and bathroom breaks. He’s a great communicator and it’s so comforting to leave my (big) dog with him when I’m at work knowing she’s fully taken care of. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Natalie was very communicate and caring with my little dog. Everytime we reached out to her, she always responded on time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will rebook with her in the future.”

About: I was in 4-H with my horse growing up - was raised with black labs, cats, and pigs. I volunteered to foster with PAWS and the Humane Society. I love having the flexibility of working remotely.... Keeping furry Family members company with much love, as well as getting to know new animal loving people! My current job has me working from home, occasionally having to spend a few hours a week performing tasks outside the home. I am never away more than a couple of hours (unless pre planned) so, I will have plenty of time to give your pet all the walks and playtime that they would like. I am very respectful and responsible. I can provide references upon request. I understand that each pet and household is different and will follow all requests exactly as specified.

“Molly is outstanding!! I am a very anxious person when it comes to leaving my dogs in the hands of someone else and I cannot emphasize enough how caring, loving and attentive she has been with my pups! Highly recommended Molly if you are looking for an extra hand with your furry loved ones!”

“Leo’s walked our dog three times now, and they’ve been doing a really great job! Dog in question is a 9 month old puppy (ball of energy) and Leo’s been great with him. Leo’s training as a certified trainer is a big plus, since they can keep up with the loose leash training when we’re not around. We’re big fans!”

About: As a fellow pet owner, I understand there’s no greater worry than leaving a beloved, nonverbal family member behind while you’re away. I promise to provide your pet with the best care l can offer, full of warmth, kindness and purpose. My part-time schedule gives me the flexibility to spend quality time with your furry friends, keeping your dogs or kitties happily entertained while you are away! I am also available to host dogs for overnight stays, whether it is boarding for a long weekend or housesitting for your convenience. Let’s coordinate to make this experience worry-free for both you and your pet. I have a cozy fenced yard and a doggy friendly backyard. I am also very careful with the plants around the property to remain pet-safe.
About: I’ve repeatedly pet sat numerous times for old neighbors and have also pet sat for family friends. I have my own dog (golden retriever). He’s a big ball of love. He is very sweet but is a rough player so if you have your pet stay over, I just don’t recommend tiny pups. I’d love to care for your baby just like how I care for mine ❤️ I tend to babysit on Tuesdays so I won’t be able to watch your little (or big) fur baby until after 6 pm on that day. I have a fenced in yard where I play with my pup. He’s the sweetest baby but definitely loves to play. We’ll tire your fur baby up and they’ll have a great night’s rest.
About: I have cared for my own pets for many years and have experience looking after family members' pets as well. I currently care for my four cats and previously helped care for my sister's dog by providing feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. Caring for animals has always been important to me, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I am committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time during the week, but I am available for pet care on the weekends. I understand the importance of consistency and communication and will work with pet owners to ensure their pets receive the care and attention they need. I am happy to provide updates and photos during visits so owners can feel confident their pets are doing well. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special requests from owners. I understand that pets can become stressed when their owners are away, so I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I also believe in regular communication and am happy to provide updates and photos throughout my visits.

About: I'm a huge animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets! I have a cat of my own, so I understand the care, patience, and attention pets need each day. Growing up, I had all kinds of pets (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds) which gave me experience caring for animals with different personalities and needs. I've also helped care for dogs, and I'd love the opportunity to give your pet plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work part-time and have flexibility throughout the week with gaps in my schedule. Because of my flexible schedule, I'm also often able to accommodate short-notice requests for added convenience whenever possible. This allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need rather than feeling rushed. Spending time with animals is something I enjoy, so pet care feels like a rewarding part of my week. I always aim to care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a client's home, I follow their pet's usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), litter box or cleanup care, and plenty of attention and companionship to help them feel at ease while their owner is away.
About: I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.
About: I grew up in a home with dogs, cats, bunnies, hens and roosters. I have never lived without caring for an animal! I love being outside, going for walks, playing and gardening. I am a mom of two school-aged boys and a proud owner of two tuxedo kitties whom we adopted nine years ago. I work part-time in the afternoons as an outdoor preschool art specialist. I am free between 9:30 am, and 1 pm everyday, and Wednesday and Thursday until 3 pm! I may also have early evenings free starting at the end of June. I have plenty of time in my schedule to help you care for your animals. Looking forward to meeting them! I am fun, gentle, playful and caring, and have a good instinct for what dogs and cats need. I can read body language and am sensitive to energy. I look forward to learning more about your pets from you, getting to know them and forging a relationship.
About: Since I can remember, I have always been an animal lover. There has never been a time in my life when I haven't had a dog or was helping to care for a friend or neighbor's dog. In 2003 while living alone in New York City, I adopted an 8-week-old pit bull / Lab mix who I was lucky enough to have in my life for 16 years! Lexie was the most loyal and loving dog, and my experience raising him encouraged me to help other dogs in need. After moving home to Boston in 2004, I started volunteering for the Milton Animal Shelter and MSPCA, walking dogs and helping to clean their cages. I also joined a local pit bull rescue where I would work at various adoption events, conduct home visits for potential adoptees, and speak to elementary classes about dog safety and how to be compassionate towards animals. I also completed a week-long course at the Boston Animal Rescue League to help shelter volunteers get a better understanding about the individual personality and needs of the dogs in their care. In 2014 I started a dog walking business on the side which was very rewarding. I had 3-5 dogs I cared for daily and loved the opportunity to work from home as a graphic designer, and get out of the house and play with so many amazing dogs during the afternoon. My husband and I have two children ages 9 and 7, and the most playful, well-tempered 2-year-old Boston Terrier, Rocket. He gets along with all people and dogs and would love another dog or two to play with during the day. Both my husband and I work from home and can assure you that your pet will have all the love, care, and attention it needs while you're away. Please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you, Andrea My husband and I both work from home Monday through Friday and can assure you that your pet will have all the love, care and attention it needs while you're away. They are welcome to roam our home and we have a fenced in yard which they would always be supervised in. We also have a crate if they ever wanted some alone time.
About: I’ve had cats, dogs, and hamsters and I am willing to experience a lot more! Don’t worry, I always enjoyed animals and providing them with love and care, so your mind will be at ease when you are away. I recently completed school but I also work a per diem job. Aside from studying to receive my certification, I have plenty of time to be with your cute companions, and spend time with them. Who knows, maybe while we’re together we can become the best study buddies. I am extremely flexible and always willing to discuss further if you have interest in booking. As I’ve had plenty of experience with Cats, I’m well aware of choking hazards on string like materials. I try to keep items like this out of reach! I am very clean when it comes to my space and noticed that this helps as some kitty’s can be a little curious and knock things off surfaces. When things are put away correctly there’s less chance for mess or danger. I am still gaining some experience with Dogs and puppies. As far as safety, I only do leashed walks to not only protect your pup but others who may be passing by as well! Again, I'm pretty organized and will avoid leaving items out, especially food! I know some animals are very food motivated and leaving food products out can be dangerous.
About: Hi, I’m Gisele, a college student and lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. I grew up surrounded by dogs in my family, including rescue dogs, so I’m very comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to dogs that need a bit more patience, structure, or gentle care. I’ve been dog sitting since I was young, helping care for family pets over the years and building strong, trusting relationships with them. I’m attentive, reliable, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet seriously because I know they’re part of the family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding routines, or just keeping your dog company, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I am currently working part time over the summer and in school during the fall and spring. My schedule leans more morning heavy so I am highly available in afternoons and evenings Monday through Saturday! I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort so I can adjust my approach based on what each dog needs! I make sure the home stays safe and secure at all times, either by keeping doors locked, being mindful during walks, or never leaving pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also focus on creating a calm, consistent presence so the dog feels relaxed and comfortable while their owner is away! My goal is to make the experience as stress free as possible by keeping things familiar, structured, and full of care and attention.

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“Highly recommend Yasmine!! ❤️ She was amazing!! We got updates throughout our dog’s stay and pictures. She was quick to respond and very flexible. She went above and beyond for our pup.”

“Zarah is amazing!! My dog (Monty) is a quirky boy with lots of anxiety. Zarah was immediately attentive, empathetic, and understanding :) She truly cared about learning everything about Monty and how best to care for him, and she sent tons of pictures and updates! I trust Zarah implicitly and know Monty is in great hands with her. He felt at home right away, and he will be happy to see Zarah and Honey again soon :)”

“Joseph was awesome! He communicated well and sundae seemed to have a good time with him. He’s also super friendly and flexible which was great for us as our travel schedule ended up changing.”

“Carolina is awesome. Kaci loves to visit and enjoys spending time with the other dogs. They keep me updated with photos and take him on good walks. I love that she offers pick up and drop and is always on time. As a busy person it is good to have a sitter you trust.”
