About: I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. We also had several cats growing up including adopted strays. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs and my family's Great Danes. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover and cat owner with experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. I understand that every pet has unique needs and strive to provide the attentive, loving care they deserve. I have a flexible part-time schedule and primarily offer drop-in visits for cats, dogs, and other small pets. I'm often available for same-day or short-notice requests, and I'm happy to help with vacation coverage or other short-term care needs. My availability is best suited for occasional, as-needed care rather than recurring weekly visits. I always aim to care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a client's home, I follow their pet's usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), litter box or cleanup care, and plenty of attention and companionship to help them feel at ease while their owner is away.
About: Dogs are our friends and we should treat our friends how we would like to be treated! I grew up always having dogs and cats around and I couldn’t imagine it any other way! I have one cat at home who is deeply spoiled. I live close to many parks and will be more than happy take them for walks and runs. I will bring along poo bags and a collapsible water bowl to make sure your pup is well hydrated during our walk. I work Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. I will be available Monday through Friday for evening walks and anytime on the weekends. I will be able to give your dog a bath and a good brush after a walk if needed!
About: I was in 4-H with my horse growing up - was raised with black labs, cats, and pigs. I volunteered to foster with PAWS and the Humane Society. I love having the flexibility of working remotely.... Keeping furry Family members company with much love, as well as getting to know new animal loving people! My current job has me working from home, occasionally having to spend a few hours a week performing tasks outside the home. I am never away more than a couple of hours (unless pre planned) so, I will have plenty of time to give your pet all the walks and playtime that they would like. I am very respectful and responsible. I can provide references upon request. I understand that each pet and household is different and will follow all requests exactly as specified.
About: I love walks around the local park followed by cozy indoor playtime. I want to do whatever brings the most joy to your fur baby. I am college grad currently on the job hunt so my schedule is very open and flexible! I have access to a vehicle and would love to care for your fur baby. About: I am a medical student who loves pets! I grew up with dogs in my home and always have one around me if I can help it. Experience boarding and walking dogs of all ages and sizes. Great at giving necessary medications and caring for any needs that arise. I’ve walked for Wag previously. I’m currently out of school for the summer so I’ll be able to fit in dog walks and give lots of love and attention! We have a big backyard so potty breaks will happen often. The weekends almost always work unless I’m out of town. I have a fenced yard. Currently no other pets in the home, but furniture is dog friendly.
