We are at adult only home with everything that you may need including bowls, toys, and a crate. We will follow all instructions to T and make sure that, your fur baby is in loving and capable hands. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so if needed for a day or for any other services, including walking, I would be available. She was so small, and I didn't want her to be lonely. I spend a lot of time studying, so I love having a furry study buddy nearby to keep me company. I’m happy to take study breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and plenty of attention. I care for every pet based on their normal routine and what makes them feel most comfortable. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of walks or playtime, and of course lots of attention and cuddles if they enjoy that! About: I have Volunteered at Angel Memorial through High School. I have Experience with Dogs Ranging from Pups to Elderly dogs. And Except All Breeds ( Pitbulls and Chihuahuas!!) . I am very familiar and ok with dogs who are very active/loud,pulling,nipping aswell jump! 🙂 I have a very Flexible work schedule and love to use it to spend time with things I absolutely love especially furry friends! About: I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. We also had several cats growing up including adopted strays. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs and my family's Great Danes. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

About: Ive taken care of personal, family and neighbors dogs and cats since very young. Ive also rescued cats since 9 years old. I have taught some of them basic tricks! I work a very flexible job and can fit in 3-4 hours from Wednesday -Sunday! I am also free to pet sit all day Friday through Sunday. I have a fenced yard and treats at home and will crate if needed. While at your home, I am happy to follow the owners instructions and be wary of the dogs directive.
About: I’ve had cats, dogs, and hamsters and I am willing to experience a lot more! Don’t worry, I always enjoyed animals and providing them with love and care, so your mind will be at ease when you are away. I recently completed school but I also work a per diem job. Aside from studying to receive my certification, I have plenty of time to be with your cute companions, and spend time with them. Who knows, maybe while we’re together we can become the best study buddies. I am extremely flexible and always willing to discuss further if you have interest in booking. As I’ve had plenty of experience with Cats, I’m well aware of choking hazards on string like materials. I try to keep items like this out of reach! I am very clean when it comes to my space and noticed that this helps as some kitty’s can be a little curious and knock things off surfaces. When things are put away correctly there’s less chance for mess or danger. I am still gaining some experience with Dogs and puppies. As far as safety, I only do leashed walks to not only protect your pup but others who may be passing by as well! Again, I'm pretty organized and will avoid leaving items out, especially food! I know some animals are very food motivated and leaving food products out can be dangerous.

About: What makes me different is that caring for animals has been a big part of my life for years. I’m currently in college studying animal care, and I also worked at a zoo for 3 years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for and working around animals. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including puppies, senior pets, disabled pets, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I’m patient, responsible, and I really take the time to get to know each animal and their individual needs. Since I commute to college and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also a dog mommy myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. 🐾 I’m a full-time college student studying animal care, and since I commute to school and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot of the time. My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to take care of pets throughout the day, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. Since I’m studying animal care, I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals and getting to know their different personalities and needs. I’m able to work pet care into my weekly routine without it feeling like a chore, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal schedule and routine while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I follow their feeding schedule, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and safe space. My home is also a great setup for pets. I have a fenced-in backyard, and I live close to a dog-friendly park and a dog park that’s only about 5 minutes up the road. I’m also near emergency animal hospitals, Petco, and Legacy Place, so there are plenty of pet-friendly places and resources nearby if needed. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to adjust to their personality and routine. Whether they’re energetic and love going outside, prefer relaxing at home, or need extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.
About: Dogs are our friends and we should treat our friends how we would like to be treated! I grew up always having dogs and cats around and I couldn’t imagine it any other way! I have one cat at home who is deeply spoiled. I live close to many parks and will be more than happy take them for walks and runs. I will bring along poo bags and a collapsible water bowl to make sure your pup is well hydrated during our walk. I work Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.
