Whether it’s a midday walk, extra playtime, or overnight stays, I’m available to provide consistent, loving care whenever your dog needs it. My routine revolves around keeping your pup happy, healthy, and relaxed!

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced-in yard where your dog can play freely and safely. My two friendly pups, one social and the other more independent, provide a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. If your dog prefers more personal space, I can separate or crate them as needed for their comfort and security. I pride myself in creating an environment where your pet will feel at home, with plenty of love and supervision every step of the way!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, allergies, or medical conditions so I can keep them safe and comfortable. It’s also important to share any quirks (like if they’re nervous around other dogs, bark at delivery trucks, or have escape artist tendencies). My preference is for friendly, non-aggressive dogs who enjoy being around other pups. However, if your dog is more independent, that’s fine too! I’m used to giving space when needed while still making sure they feel at home.

A typical day starts with some backyard playtime in my fenced-in yard so everyone can stretch their legs and get some morning energy out. Depending on the dog’s energy level, we’ll go for a neighborhood walk or head to a local park for a sniff adventure. I love engaging dogs in mental enrichment games like hide and seek with treats or practicing tricks. My two goldens are incredibly friendly and social, so visiting dogs always have built-in playmates here! Afternoons are usually for lounging in a sunny spot or enjoying belly rubs, with another walk or yard play before dinner.

As the eldest of 6 siblings, looking after others is second nature to me, and I’ve carried that nurturing instinct into raising dogs. I’ve had the joy of raising & training a variety of breeds, including beagles, a basset hound, & now my two golden retrievers. I’ve taught them skills, provided structured attention, & helped them grow into well-adjusted, happy companions. I’m highly detail-oriented when it comes to caring for dogs (double-wrapping leashes around my wrist on walks, making sure doors and trash are secure, and even adding chicken wire behind our fenced yard just incase). Every precaution is about keeping your pup safe while making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I treat every dog as my own, with the same attention, patience, and care I give my own pets. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a calm senior, I tailor each visit to your dog’s unique needs. My focus is always on safety, engagement, and personalized care, making sure your furry family members feel loved, secure, and fully supported. ♥️🐾

My dog Ellie loves staying with Kayla and her pups! She always comes home happy and tuckered out from a good time playing :) Kayla is great, very responsive, and sends lots of photos and updates.
Kayla was great! My pup has separation anxiety (and so do I!), and Kayla was very sweet with her, and sent me pictures multiple times a day. We also had a good meet & greet beforehand to get my girl used to Kayla, her house, and her lovely goldens.
Millie had a great stay with Kayla and her golden retrievers. You can tell Kayla really loves dogs and cares. She was an amazing communicator sending us regular updates and pictures. I could see Millie was having fun and getting plenty of playtime with the other dogs.
It was Sammie’s first time at Kayla and I feel she was really well cared for. Kayla sent a lot of pictures and Sammie was having a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend her and book again.
