“Alana was absolutely wonderful! We have a special needs dog and he was so well taken care of and more! We are so ever grateful to Alana and her wonderful family for all that they did for our little man while we were away. We highly recommend Alana as you can rest assured your pooch will be safe and very well cared for. Thank you again Alana and Papi can't wait to see you guys again!”

“Jess and her family were AMAZING with Jack and Mazie - long walks, alot of cuddles - both my dogs came home happy and it was clear they felt safe and comfortable. Thank you all!”

“Kevin was a great host for our pup Skylar while we were away for the weekend. He was super communicative, and sent lots of pictures, which we love. Skylar also needs some special care (daily meds and frequent walks) and Kevin was very accommodating. We would definitely use Kevin again.”

About: I started taking care of dogs since I was 20 years old. I started taking care of my friends and family dogs, I gain experience with them at first, then I kept growing up learning with each doggie, you have to be emotionally prepare for them, I'm sure I developed was is required for their cares. I work from home, so I want to start specifically walks an Drop-off sevices in my spare time, but I'll have a flexible schedule and convenient for each customer need. I have a a fenced backyard in case I had to board or take care of a doggie during the day. So your dog can feel comfortable and have play time during the day.
“Rhiannon was wonderful from start to finish. she provided my Bubba a home away from home with so much love ❤️ thank you to you and your family for taking such great care of bubba”

“Tyler was a rock star! We were up for our daughter running the Boston marathon. It was a long day and it was nice to not have to worry about Baxter. He also was able to have puppy playtime with two other guests. After a long day Tyler was there to meet us with our boy. He also sent a few pics during the day. This was our first experience with Rover and we will return.”

“Very happy with Norman’s stay. Dan has a sweet dog of his own that Norman for along with. They went in a nice walk up to Blue Hills for some outside time. Great communication to let me know everything was going well.”

“Alena was so wonderful to our Bodhi girl while we were away at a wedding! Bodhi was welcomed with open arms and I could tell she would be in good hands from the moment I met Alena. It’s so apparent how much Alena cares for dogs, and she treated Bodhi like one of her own, sending regular updates and pics of our girl! Alena’s puppy Princess was a doll to Bodhi, and it’s clear she’s great company for any dog lucky enough to stay with her and Alena! I highly recommend Alena’s and Princess’s dynamic duo care and would definitely book with her again for Bodes!”

“She was great she took my dog on short notice and made her feel so comfortable. Ziva had other dogs to hangout with and enjoyed her stay. I would recommend using her!”

“Zwany and Leandro were conscientious and kind with Serena and Bobby; they sent daily pics and/or videos which helped with my missing my pups while away, and my friends enjoyed them, too! I loved receiving the puppy report card of their stay—a personal touch from a professional duo.”

“We usually travel with our girl (4 YO terrier mix) everywhere we go, so was nervous to leave with someone else; our concerns melted away as we saw how comfortable our girl was with Lois on their first meet; they were immediate friends upon first introduction. Lois provided plenty of pictures when away, was very understanding of our girl's nervousness, and fulfilled each daily routine items included on list. Besides Lois's reliability, taking wonderful care of our girl, and sharing daily pictures of our girl, a plus is that Lois provides a home with a lot of space that is located on a quiet cul de sac with a large backyard, and that our girl was the only pet in the home (this was a perquisite for us). A plus, I was working on "Stay" command with our girl; Lois continued it at her place and with her reinforcement our girl has mastered the command after only four (4) days there....I guess a new person/environment is good at times. With all said, Lois provided a wonderful experience for our little girl. I appreciate the loving care provided to our girl in a very safe environment; I have since booked another stay.”

“Alicja is truly the best! Paloma always has such a fun time with her, and we feel so comfortable knowing she’s getting the best care. We also love all the video updates we get during her stay!”

“Matthew and Jennifer were so easy to work with and took amazing care of our labradoodle. I got pictures each day and little updates along the way. Thank you for welcoming her into your home.”

“Hieu took amazing care of our little guy. She sent updates with photos/videos daily, and it was clear our pup was a happy one! Hieu looked after him while we were away for the holidays, and she very sweetly got him a Christmas treat, wrapped and all, so he had something to open himself on Christmas. We are very happy with the care Tai provided and would definitely recommend Hieu to anyone looking for boarding!”

“Jason is the absolute best!!! He and his partner took such great care of our pups and were communicating constantly. They treated our kids like their own and took them for walks and runs all the time. They sent many pictures every day and kept us updated on how they were doing. Would 100% recommend!!”

Most important thing for your pups is their safety and as dog parent you need assurance. Jaime hit the mark for both!! This was the first time for Charlie to stay over at Jaime and she took great care of her! Send me updates throughout the day and also made sure charlie took her meds, ate and drank throughout the day. I have already rebooked her for 8days when I will be away!!!

We left our high energy Labrador Mix, Nala, with Alena for an overnight boarding. She sent multiple unprompted updates with videos of Nala with us how her stay was going, and clearly coordinated drop off and pick up times. Alena was terrific accommodating, and Nala came home happy and very tired (which is not easy to do). 5 stars, would highly recommend, and we look forward to using her again in the future.

Lynne was amazing! This was our first time leaving our puppy for such a long period, and she made us feel completely at ease. She sent us lots of photo updates throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear he was well cared for and having a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Lynne with our pup again!

Cody had a wonderful time staying with Angela and Paul! It was easy scheduling a meet and greet, and they were very flexible with pick up/drop off times. They were attentive to Cody’s dietary restrictions, and their daughter immediately made Cody feel right at home. They made us feel so comfortable throughout his stay, sending lots of photos and updates. We would definitely bring Cody back to stay with them again!

We had such a great experience with Rachel! She took incredible care of our dog and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved when we got home. You can tell Rachel genuinely cares about animals. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive sitter. We will definitely be using Rachel again if our timing works out!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
