About Olivia A.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always my top priority. With more than a decade of professional canine handling experience, I understand how important proper supervision, secure leash handling, and structured introductions are for keeping dogs safe and comfortable. I maintain a calm, low-stress environment and take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and individual needs before their stay. I prefer quality over quantity and focus on providing personalized care rather than operating a high-volume boarding environment. On some weekends, my 13-year-old daughter is with me. She has grown up around dogs her entire life and shares my love and respect for animals. Owners can expect regular communication, photo updates, and the peace of mind that their dog is being cared for by someone with extensive professional experience. I am certified in canine combat casualty care (first aid), and heat injury prevention.

Information Olivia A. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is spayed or neutered, has any medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, medications, mobility limitations, or other special care requirements. I also ask that you disclose any behavioral concerns, including fears, separation anxiety, resource guarding, escape tendencies, reactivity, or aggression toward people or other animals. Please include your dog’s typical daily schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, sleeping arrangements, and whether they are crate trained. The more I know about your dog’s normal routine, the easier it is to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. For the safety of all dogs in my care, proof of current vaccinations is required prior to boarding. If you have any questions or concerns about your dog’s stay, I am always happy to discuss them before booking.
A typical day
A typical day in my care is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, personality, age, activity level, health, and even the weather. Every dog is different, and I believe their routine should reflect that. I live an active lifestyle, so if your dog enjoys walks, exploring new places, or extra exercise, I am happy to keep them active and engaged. On the other hand, if your dog would rather spend the day relaxing, soaking up attention, and cuddling on the couch, I’m perfectly happy doing that too.

Veteran & Certified Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my daily life for more than 10 years. I am a certified Master Trainer with experience as an overseas canine trainer, explosive detection dog handler, and stateside trainer working with families, law enforcement, and boarding clients. Throughout my career, I have worked with dogs of every breed, age, drive level, and temperament imaginable. While my professional background gives me the skills to safely handle and care for dogs, the biggest reason I offer boarding is because I genuinely enjoy their company. Since stepping away from full-time canine work, I miss having dogs in my daily life. Every dog in my care receives individualized attention, affection, exercise, and a safe environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. Credential photos are available upon request.
Reviews
Olivia was great with the boys, they both seemed comfortable and happy at her place. We were able to enjoy our getaway feeling confident that they were in good hands.
