“Elliot did a great job and we will definitely book with him again! It was our first time having someone other than family watch our dog and we immediately felt very comfortable with Elliot. “Nola and Damian were amazing! They took us last minute for my two young high energy pups. Communication was prompt and professional. My boys came home happy and well cared for, and I would happily book with Nola & Damian again!”

“Logan and her dog Gus were wonderful with my golden. Logan has a natural confidence and calm presence that the dogs respond to immediately — they listen to her and clearly feel comfortable around her. She handled everything with ease and professionalism. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such capable hands. Highly recommend!”

“I boarded my dog for 2 weeks. Kwangwoo was very professional to work with and treated Chiffon very well. Chiffon is a picky eater, and he went out of the way to hand-feed her on her first night when she was too stressed to eat. Thanks a lot!”

About: I’m a caring cat and dog mom with lifelong experience with pets. I have a 3 year old cat and a 2 year old dog, who are my whole world. I love playing with energetic puppies and kittens, and I also have experience caring for sweet senior dogs, having grown up with two dogs with my parents. I’m a private music teacher with a flexible schedule and currently spend most of my time at home. Your pet will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. I provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and personalized care based on each pet’s routine. I’m available for boarding, drop-in visits, and dog walks throughout the week, including weekends and holidays, and I’m always happy to accommodate your pet’s needs whenever possible. I live with my husband, a friendly 2-year-old Bichpoo, and a calm, gentle cat. Our home is filled with cozy beds, toys, and treats for both cats and dogs. We’re also within walking distance of a dog park, making it easy to give dogs extra exercise and outdoor fun if that’s something they enjoy. We vacuum twice a day and mop every other day to keep our home clean, safe, and comfortable. Your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and personalized care, so they can feel relaxed, happy, and right at home.

We will treat your pup as our own while you are away! We are located walking distance from the JFK and Savin Hill MBTA stations making drop off and pick up easy for those using public transportation. It was our very first time using Rover. We typically leave him with family when on vacation but it did not work out this trip. Kevin made us feel very comfortable with us leaving Mochi in his hands. He was a great dog sitter! He was responsive, took great care of Mochi, and sent pictures throughout the stay. We would happily book with him and his boys again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
