About: I’ve always loved dogs and have cared for dogs of different ages and personalities throughout my life. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I’ll treat every dog like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🏠🐾 Home Boarding I offer a comfortable, loving home environment for small and medium-sized dogs 1 year and older. I keep boarding small and personal, with a maximum of two dogs at a time, so each dog receives plenty of individual attention and care. I truly enjoy being around dogs and love giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and socialization. I’m happy to care for dogs who enjoy having other dogs around, as well as dogs who are more comfortable being the only dog in my care. Every dog has their own personality and comfort level, and I’m happy to tailor their stay to their individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Before accepting a new boarding dog, I prefer to have a Meet & Greet so we can make sure your dog is comfortable in my home and that we’re a good fit. If an in-person meeting isn’t convenient, I’m also happy to arrange a Zoom/video call first. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away. ❤️ I’m am very reliable and available for pet care on my days off, including Mondays and select Tuesdays, Fridays and some Saturdays and Sundays . I can also open additional days on my calendar when I’m available. I enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. For drop-in visits, I provide care in your home and follow your instructions carefully. I’ll make sure your dog is safe and comfortable, keep doors and gates secure, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home.
“Sunny was amazing with Roxie. She is elderly and he was ready to take on the challenge that comes with caring for an older dog. Sunny’s communication throughout Roxie’s stay was excellent. He sent a ton of pictures so we could see how she was doing and reached out when he had questions or concerns. My daughter loved getting pictures throughout the day and it helped her miss Roxie a little less.”

“Elizabeth and Rodrigo took amazing care of our dog while we were away for 6 days. He’s getting older and can be a little anxious, but he was totally comfortable in their home. They sent us tons of photos too, which we loved since we missed him. I’d absolutely recommend them as dog sitters.”

“Piper came back happy from Belinda’s! Belinda was very responsible, flexible, and made sure to slowly introduce Piper to her own pup! If I am back in town with Piper I will definitely reach out to her again!”
“Nola and Damian were so great! This was our first time using Rover and we were a little hesitant about leaving Toki with someone new. However, they made us feel super comfortable and clearly took great care of her during our time away.”

“Lori was an absolute delight! She sent us adorable pictures of our pup every night, capturing his joy during their walks and his playful antics around the house. When we finally picked him up, he couldn’t resist running back to her to bid her farewell, even amidst his excitement to reunite with his family. This heartwarming sight reaffirmed the strong bond he had formed with her while we were away. We highly recommend Lori and are already planning to use her services again. Finding Lori has made us feel much more at ease about going away, knowing that our pup will be in good hands and thoroughly enjoying himself.”

“Rachel was awesome. She watched our 8 year old rescue for a week while we were away. She’s a good pup but can be finicky away from home. Rachel was attentive to our instructions and consistently checked in with us. I would highly recommend Rachel!”
About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner for the past 18 years and have cared for dogs through every stage of life, from energetic younger dogs to seniors who need extra patience, gentleness and attention. My two beloved dogs, Charlie and Sophie, were a huge part of my life, and caring for them gave me years of hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, medications, changing needs, senior care and, most importantly, understanding each dog’s individual personality. I’ve also regularly cared for friends’ dogs over the years, including dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments. I’m very comfortable learning a dog’s routine and following it closely so they feel secure and relaxed while their family is away. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and I’m attentive, calm, affectionate and dependable. I treat every dog as an individual and want them to feel safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for — not simply “watched.” I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of individual attention rather than fitting them around a packed day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting, including daytime care and many evenings and weekends. I enjoy being active and walking, so dog walks fit very naturally into my routine. I’m also happy to accommodate a pet’s established feeding, walking, medication and bedtime schedule as closely as possible. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, normal routine, medical needs, feeding instructions, walking habits and any triggers or special concerns before caring for them. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and never assume that what works for one dog will work for another. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pet and the home and try to keep everything as familiar and predictable as possible. On walks, I pay close attention to surroundings, traffic, other dogs and leash security. I’m also very comfortable with senior dogs or pets who need a slower pace, extra reassurance or more frequent attention.

“Vanessa and her partner took great care of my little Mochi for a week and half. They went above and beyond what i would expect from any dog sitter. They made sure to exercise Mochi multiple times a day. They also taught my little one new tricks! Truly amazing. I had also left Mochi with a set of new treats I was hoping she would enjoy. Unbeknownst to all of us, Mochi ended up getting some diarrhea from those treats. Luckily, Vanessa was able to weed out the culprit very quickly, allowing Mochi to regain her appetite after discarding the treats. Vanessa made sure to send me plenty pictures and videos of my little one. Mochi felt right at home with them. I can't stress enough what a blessing it has been to have Vanessa take care of my little one in my absence. :D”

“We continue to be very happy with Paul and Megan’s care of our senior dog, Kenobi. They go above and beyond and we are always confident he is in good hands. Communication is excellent and we always get nice updates with pictures or videos. We will continue booking with them as much as we can!”

“This was my first time leaving Alfie with Monica and her family and won’t be the last! Monica communicated frequently with me letting me know that Alfie was doing great and enjoying his time with her family and Thor, their cat. She sent me various pics and videos during the day. Alfie had a lot of fun playing ball with the kids and Thor and going on walks. Alfie will definitely miss them! Thank you for taking great care of Alfie!”

“Our dog had a wonderful time with Marie! He came home very tired from his week of walks, snuggles, and fun. She sent lots of updates throughout the week! We will definitely book with Marie again. Thank you for taking care of our Bernie!”

“Yenny and her family where extremely amazing 🥰 my Winnie was happy being around them for being her first time spending the night out of her comfort 🩷🫶🏼 she did well I will definitely book again in near future with yenny. Definitely recommend her 💯”

“Kyra had the best time with Aurora and her sweet pup Madi! I was in Europe for a week and felt so at ease with constant updates and photos while I was away! I can’t recommend Aurora enough and feel confident in using her services again next time I go away!”

“Martha has taken care of Oli several times and it is always a relief knowing that we leave our Oli in such good hands! Martha is amazing, caring, and always goes the extra mile to make sure that Oli is having the best time. Highly highly recommend Martha!”

“Linda was so good to our dog Nala!! Nala was pampered with a whole week of zoomies in her backyard, playing with neighborhood dogs, and cuddling on the couch every evening :) We will definitely be booking again!”

“Autumn had an amazing time! We got frequent updates and pictures. We had a last minute booking and I made a mistake with the dates and they were able to accommodate us so quickly and kindly. I am so thankful we were able to leave for such a long trip and not worry about her at all. Would love to have her visit again.”

“John took great care of my high energy pup! His communication was excellent throughout the process and he too my dog on long walks. Looking forward to booking with John again soon!”

“Rachel was great! It was Harley’s first time staying with a new sitter and he can be unpredictable, but Rachel was reassuring and positive about watching Harley and that helped ease my anxiety! She was communicative, sent pictures and did a great job with giving Harley his meds that he is sometimes fussy about. Very happy to have a new reliable dog sitter to add to my rotation!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
