“Our request was very last minute and Michaela was nothing but flexible and attentive to our cats needs. The meet and greet was really reassuring and her communication was great, we felt at ease knowing there was someone there for their feeding and litter care. I will definitely book with her again!”

About: I love all types of dogs! I have been around dogs my whole life! My family and I rescued my pit bull mix From the animal shelter and named him Tucker 3 years ago. He is such a great dog. I love running around with him in my backyard and taking care of him! I also used to watch my aunts dogs for her all the time throughout my life! I used to go to her house and let them out after school. I also used to dog sit for her when she went on vacation. A lot of my friends and family have dogs that I am around all the time as well! I have been around all sizes of dogs such as terriers, labs, pit bulls, golden doodles, shih tzu’s and many more! I am currently working full-time so I am available after 3pm but with the summer coming up I am working part-time so I will be available in the early mornings and late afternoons. I have a dog of my own who I have taken care of for 5 years now. I will provide your dog with a long walk and the proper care and love they need.
About: My schedule is very specific working around work shifts! I’m very communicative and we can work something out that is best for both of us!! I have both personal and professional experience with cats and dogs. I’ve worked with dogs during my time at Essex Tech. I have also have basic experiences with small animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. During my time there I learned the basics of training, grooming and overall behavior. This all led me to have a better grasp at caring for dogs and what their needs are. I have my own cat named Fasa and a dog named Summer, so I have personal experience with them! He’s the buff kitty in my photos! I have also worked at a doggy daycare located in Salem called Walk A Pup where they strive to provide a safe and enriching environment for the dogs in their care. During those six months, I not only walked dogs but also did basic obedience and evening check-ins at client's homes. I was also briefly a bather at Petsmart where watching behavior is a big aspect. Currently I work there caring for the animals we sell. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified. Working part-time fills in a lot of my time and my schedule is often on a week-by-week basis. My availability varies, so it’s best for you to just message me to find out if my schedule works with yours! At the moment I mainly have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays free! I know leaving your pet to a stranger is very nerve-wracking and scary. However, I like to reassure you that because of my experience, I am equipped to make sure that your pet has the care they need while you are away for work, vacation, or any other situation. I am more than happy to update you as many times are you need me to. I am also certified in Pet CPR and First aid and have a car that allows me to drive your pet somewhere if something were to happen.
About: I grew up with cats, dogs and rabbits my entire life. I currently dog and cat sit for family, friends and neighbors! I have years of experience and plenty of references. I work in Danvers, MA from 8:30am to 7pm Sundays through Wednesdays. I am available for drop ins before and after work and also overnights if your animal is able to stay alone for longer periods of time. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, giving medicine and crate training. I am also open to whatever needs the owner requests to best suit the animal.
“Amber has only spent two days with my pup and I can already tell they are going to be friends! He’s happy and lively when I come home so I know he is getting a lot out of her visits!”

“Laura was a lifesaver for my family! We had a last minute emergency and needed someone to help take care of our cat. She took great care of him every day for a few weeks. It was such a relief to have our cat in safe and caring hands while we were out of town. I highly recommend Laura for any and all help.”

About: Growing up with two terriers taught me even small dogs can be mighty and wild. I would be honored to care for your dog, take it for walks, give it love, and a warm place to rest. Looking for a temporary cozy home your sweetest or craziest family member? I’m here to help. Note: I’ve also cared for pregnant dogs and newborn puppies before, as well as ill dogs who need medicine various times a day. I work remotely a couple days a week, especially Fridays. I’m happy to take your pet for the weekend and provide a happy place for them while you are busy! I can also care for pets in the evenings after work. My space is quiet since I don’t have small children or other pets. I try to be as respectful of your pets boundaries as possible and always keep my and your space clean. You won’t come home to sand all over or stinky bags of poop, I promise.
“Excellent care for my cat including lots of play time and cuddles. Jennifer followed all care instructions closely and sent lots of pictures which I love!! Highly recommend.”

“Chloe provides exceptional care and attention to detail regarding instructions and special requests. She is thorough, thoughtful, and loving (our kitty loves her!) We highly recommend her services and will definitely book her for future care.”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since I was 14, and throughout the years I’ve also cared for other dogs for friends, family, and others. This has given me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a calmer approach. I’m patient, responsible, and focused on making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while sticking to their normal routine. What sets me apart is the genuine care I give and how I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize their happiness and well-being. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I make sure to plan my day around each pet’s needs so they get consistent attention, care, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, respect their space, and keep pets on their normal routine to reduce stress. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets secure, and make sure they are always supervised. My goal is to build trust with both pets and owners by being reliable, attentive, and caring.
About: I’ve been raising dogs since i was a child. I’ve had 4 dogs throughout my life. Out of the most recent 2, one was a senior with heart problems so i have much experience with older dogs and giving medicine if necessary. My other dog is a rescue, i’ve raised since she was 3 months old. In addition to behavioral classes i took with her, i’ve potty trained, crate trained and trained her to have basic skills myself. I’ve raised most of my dogs (there was one adult rescue) from puppy to senior years so i hold much experience with dogs in these age ranges. I can care for dogs that are of all skill levels and ages. My dog and i are able to adapt to any energy level your pup may be at and will always care for them as if they are my own. I currently work full-time but luckily I am hybrid. I work in office Mon, Tues, and Thurs. Otherwise, I will normally always be with your pet unless i must go out and run errands. However, i also love to take my dog wherever i go as long as i know i’m making a quick stop, so if your dog loves car rides we will be together most of their stay. During 2025 holidays i will be at home full time until 1/4/26 I have one sweet puppy who loves other dogs and will gladly welcome them into the home. i tend to keep the house pretty tidy so my dogs can’t get into anything. If there’s anything specific your fur baby needs to avoid let me know. Lastly, i have a camera in my home to watch my puppy if i’m away and as my client i can provide footage of their stay to keep you at comfort.
“We had Sergio look after Nabaut, and honestly, he was fantastic. He really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, and Nabaut absolutely loved him. If you’re looking for someone reliable and super kind, he’s your guy. Big thumbs up!”
“Mia was very punctual and followed our directions to a T! She made sure to call me when my cat wasn’t taking his pill right away which I appreciated and she gave me comfort that my cats were taken care of. Thanks so much Mia!”

About: I love dogs, they each have unique personalities. I do understand that our pets are very special and deserve great care. I am prompt and I will communicate with you. Recently I have dog sat and dog walked a pair of Samoyed a pair of dogs quite often. They love watching me cook. They can sit, stay, and give paw. Very routine and food driven. Great with kids and gentle. I have availability all day every other weekend and Tuesday and Thursday nights. I love dog walking, being outdoors. If your dog does well with children my availability is more open. I will feed them, give them water, give their medications, take for walks, and monitor to make sure they are not destructive of any items. Also I give very good pet cuddles.
“Daniella was the best person I have chosen to look after my dog when I was away for 7 days. I have a small dog ,he is scared with strangers but she knows how exactly to handle him. She built the trust and they became friends. She did a lot during the 7 days drop-in-visit, such as cleaning the dog’s pee pads, walking him, playing with him, giving treats, changing water and food. My dog loves her company and even make friends with her cute little chihuahua. Absolutely amazing!! Definitely will book again in the future .”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nahant
Highly recommend Erica as both a fantastic Rover and all around great/enthusiastic person. I left the country and had zero worries knowing she was checking in on my high energy, large breed dog. She went above and beyond by texting me off the app, giving me unsolicited updates around the clock, sending plenty of great pictures, getting my mail, you name it. You can tell your Rover is good when your pet still looks for them when you return, hah! Erica is good people. Will book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
