“Exceptional care, as usual! Morgan has been our favorite pet sitter for several years! Excellent communication and care for our sick cats -very reliable and attentive! We come back to healthy and happy cats every time! Thank you, Morgan!”

About: I’ve been raising dogs since i was a child. I’ve had 4 dogs throughout my life. Out of the most recent 2, one was a senior with heart problems so i have much experience with older dogs and giving medicine if necessary. My other dog is a rescue, i’ve raised since she was 3 months old. In addition to behavioral classes i took with her, i’ve potty trained, crate trained and trained her to have basic skills myself. I’ve raised most of my dogs (there was one adult rescue) from puppy to senior years so i hold much experience with dogs in these age ranges. I can care for dogs that are of all skill levels and ages. My dog and i are able to adapt to any energy level your pup may be at and will always care for them as if they are my own. I currently work full-time but luckily I am hybrid. I work in office Mon, Tues, and Thurs. Otherwise, I will normally always be with your pet unless i must go out and run errands. However, i also love to take my dog wherever i go as long as i know i’m making a quick stop, so if your dog loves car rides we will be together most of their stay. During 2025 holidays i will be at home full time until 1/4/26 I have one sweet puppy who loves other dogs and will gladly welcome them into the home. i tend to keep the house pretty tidy so my dogs can’t get into anything. If there’s anything specific your fur baby needs to avoid let me know. Lastly, i have a camera in my home to watch my puppy if i’m away and as my client i can provide footage of their stay to keep you at comfort.

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since I was 14, and throughout the years I’ve also cared for other dogs for friends, family, and others. This has given me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a calmer approach. I’m patient, responsible, and focused on making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while sticking to their normal routine. What sets me apart is the genuine care I give and how I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize their happiness and well-being. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I make sure to plan my day around each pet’s needs so they get consistent attention, care, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, respect their space, and keep pets on their normal routine to reduce stress. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets secure, and make sure they are always supervised. My goal is to build trust with both pets and owners by being reliable, attentive, and caring.
“Alexis did an amazing job caring for my dog. He’s big and he has a lot of special needs. Alexis was extremely reliable and caring, making sure his medical needs were met and giving him lots of loving. Highly recommend!”

“Charlie was absolutely lovely. Very professional while still being friendly and not too formal. Communication was clear and prompt from the planning of the meeting to the actual visits caring for my dog. Definitely will be reaching out again when I next need a dog sitter”

“Our request was very last minute and Michaela was nothing but flexible and attentive to our cats needs. The meet and greet was really reassuring and her communication was great, we felt at ease knowing there was someone there for their feeding and litter care. I will definitely book with her again!”

“I cannot recommend Haowen highly enough! He took amazing care of our cat while we were away for a week. We received pictures everyday, and they were so detailed and thoughtful! Before and afters of the food and water bowls, litter, and of course our cat. Overall, it was comforting to know that someone was paying attention to all the little details of our pet and home.”

“Five stars 🌟 Kamani was punctual, responsive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond before, during, and after my booking. And, my pups adored her from the initial meet and greet, which means everything to me. I was impressed by her flexibility and communication. Already planning to rebook for my next trip!”

“Excellent care for my cat including lots of play time and cuddles. Jennifer followed all care instructions closely and sent lots of pictures which I love!! Highly recommend.”

“We had Sergio look after Nabaut, and honestly, he was fantastic. He really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, and Nabaut absolutely loved him. If you’re looking for someone reliable and super kind, he’s your guy. Big thumbs up!”

About: Hi! My name is Kate, and I’m a college student at the University of Vermont studying Child Psychology. I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy spending time caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I have 4 years of experience dog sitting and caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Through my experience, I’ve learned how important consistency, patience, and attention are when caring for someone’s pet. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, relaxing company, or sticking to a specific routine, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I’m responsible, dependable, and communicative, and I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I always prioritize safety, follow owners’ instructions closely, and make sure pets receive lots of attention and affection while you’re away. I also have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, which allows me to be dependable and accommodating whenever possible. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m able to plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m caring for, whether that means early morning walks, consistent feeding schedules, playtime, medication routines, or overnight care. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I always try to adapt to what makes them most comfortable. Some pets need lots of activity and attention, while others prefer a calmer environment and a consistent routine. I’m happy to be flexible and work with owners to make sure their pets receive the care, attention, and routine they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I know pets feel safest in their familiar environment, so I make sure to follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, crate routines, and any specific preferences or needs. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and supervision while their owners are away. I also keep the home clean and respectful, provide regular updates when wanted, and prioritize safety at all times. My goal is to help pets feel relaxed, cared for, and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pet is in dependable hands.

About: Not only do i love animals and am very responsible, I have great knowledge on the subject of animal care. I worked in multiple animal hospitals as a technician, the local animal shelter as a technician, worked for doggie daycare and boarding for years, and now opened my own small animal care business. I have the knowledge and expertice in animal health as I took many veterinary technician classes (and can medically care if necessary, and/or know the proper instructions to bring to medical person of care certified to do so). I also have a completed certificate AND degree in Animal Care Sciences. (Diplomas and certificates available for evidence upon request). I have many reliable references who would be happy to be contacted upon request. I only work in Nahant so I am very flexible and I am always available. I do weekly routines, sporadic walks, pet sitting in your house or mine. I accommodate each pet/pet owners schedule to their needs. I always do a meet and greet with the pet and the owner prior to beginning walks/care with the animal. We discuss the wants and needs of the pet and the owner. I believe it is important for mom/dad to truly know who is caring for their fur baby and how they are being cared for.

About: I have helped take care of friends and families dogs/pets for about 5 years now. I have overnight sat for friends and took care of their dogs that required special feeding and medication instructions. I also helped train my own dog with stuff like sit and paw. I am currently working part-time in the hospital as an aide. I will not be working for most of the summer, so I will have plenty of time to check in on dogs or even stay over night at houses to pet sit. I have a fenced in yard and a long, strong lead if needed for dogs that can be escape artists. I also am strong enough to hold bigger dogs that can pull.
About: I first discovered my passion for animal care in fifth grade when I brought home and later adopted my class pet, Spot, an anole lizard who remained with our family for two years. Since then, I have continued developing hands-on experience caring for animals, including working with reactive dogs. During the pandemic, my family adopted our dog Henry, and through that experience I gained valuable insight into supporting dogs with anxiety and learning effective, patient approaches to behavioral management. I currently have full availability for the summer and am flexible in accommodating a wide range of pet care needs, including daytime, evening, and weekend care. I prioritize clear and consistent communication with pet owners to ensure I fully understand each pet’s individual needs and routine. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care and make sure every pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving the highest quality care possible.
About: Welcome! I go by “Nancy!” 🐾🐈🦮 I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have had pets for over 25 years. Caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life, not just a hobby. Over the years I’ve had different kinds of pets, and I currently have two budgies and a betta fish. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and earning their trust at their own pace. I’m naturally attentive and tend to notice when something seems off or when a pet needs a little extra patience and care. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I would care for yours the same way I care for my own. Animals have always been a part of my life. I’m currently a student chaplain, a full-time mom to two girls, and a pet mom to two budgies and a betta fish. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine, and in my free time, I’d love the opportunity to spend time with and care for other pets. While I’m new to this platform offering dog walking services, I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. 🐾 I treat every pet as if they were my own. I focus on safe, enjoyable walks, follow the owner’s instructions carefully, and make sure each pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they need. I also provide updates so owners know how their pet is doing.
“Britney is sweet and high energy so if your dog is high energy she's a great pick! She's a little more flexible with her schedule but she makes every visit fun and I genuinely felt like my girl was far less lonely with Britney around.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nahant
Highly recommend Erica as both a fantastic Rover and all around great/enthusiastic person. I left the country and had zero worries knowing she was checking in on my high energy, large breed dog. She went above and beyond by texting me off the app, giving me unsolicited updates around the clock, sending plenty of great pictures, getting my mail, you name it. You can tell your Rover is good when your pet still looks for them when you return, hah! Erica is good people. Will book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
