“Kathryn was responsive from the very beginning and communicated clearly throughout. I really appreciated that she came for a meet-and-greet beforehand. She quickly understood Saya’s routine and needs, and she was always punctual. She also sent timely updates and photos after each visit. From her images, it was clear Saya genuinely enjoyed having Kathryn around and felt comfortable coming home. Kathryn was receptive and attentive to any messages or requests, and her communication made everything feel easy and stress-free. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would absolutely rebook her. My husband and I were completely at ease knowing Kathryn was caring for Saya while we were away.”

“Elizabeth is so thoughtful and kind. She has listened to everything about my dog’s needs and has truly provided great care for her. She asks questions and is very understanding of how every dog is unique. You can tell she does this for her love for dogs and it truly shows. I look forward to Elizabeth taking care of Marley in the future!”

About: Over the years, I have been gathered extensive knowledge about animal husbandry. Along with my coursework at Essex Tech in the Companion Animals program, I also worked for the school as a dog trainer and dog, cat, and rodent groomer for 2 years. I later worked as a dog trainer and dog daycare worker for 2 years! It was my honor to teach countless clients and manage large playgroups of dogs. Recognizing and understanding dog behavior, body language, animal handling, first aid, nutrition, (and much more!) is second nature to me at this point in my journey! These skills give me the comfort I need to know I can provide the best, most informed care to every beloved pet I work with! I work through a flexible, positivity based approach, prioritizing client and animal trust above all else. I understand that every animal needs different methods to feel (and act) their best—and I mean EVERY animal! I have experience in reptiles, avians, rodents, and cats along with dogs, owning and/or working with all consistently throughout the years! I hope we can work together to help your animal family members have the greatest time, even when you’re away! I’m currently teaching part time, so I have extra time every day to care for your best friend(s)! My work schedule is 1:30-5:00pm M-F every day that school is in session. Additionally, I am typically available every weekend. My Rover calendar stays up to date, but please note I typically don’t book out more than 2 months in advance! That said, feel free to inquire about any date, some exceptions may be made! Safety and comfort is of utmost importance to me. I know we all have those weird habits we do to make our pet comfortable, and I am willing to do what will help your friend while you’re away! As a nervous and reactive dog owner and someone with extensive experience with all sorts of animal personalities (Really! At daycare, we had over 100 dogs daily, and during my schooling, I cared for over 30 different animals!), I may even have some extra tips to help your pet feel safer. I am also Pet First Aid and CPR Certified, and I am no stranger to utilizing those skills in the field when needed.
“Julia was great! She sent the best pics of my kitty while I was away and he seemed to really enjoy her company during the drop-ins. No issues what so ever and will definitely be using her again!”

“Maggie is great with Vinny and takes care to give him the attention he needs while his Mom is away. Thankful to have someone I can trust with my fyr-baby! She is also so flexible and accommodating with my busy travel schedule. Don't know what I'd do without her!”

“Paloma is wonderful and we felt such at ease having her care for our furbaby. She sure eased my anxiety of leaving him. She was extremely communicative, consistently shared video and photos with us. We are so appreciative for her caring for him and will definitely continue to request her services, and will book in advance to ensure she is available. Kekse looks forward to her visiting again”

“Victoria took excellent care of my shy boy Ron! She made sure all of his needs were met while also making friends with him! I will be using her for care of my car in the future! Thank you!”

About: I have owned dogs since I was 7 years old. I have always cared for them as if they were my own children! I have a 9 yr old pug (Lily) who has gotten along with every dog we have had. Snuggles and walks are part of the stay and every doggie guest is sent home with a special treat as a thank you for overnight stays with me! I can also pick up and drop off local pups at no charge! I work from home so I am always here to attend to your pup. I also have older children who love to play and cuddle with them! I have a fenced in yard and a safe street to walk dogs on. I have a gate to prevent dogs from going upstairs. My couch is a comfy space for the dogs to lounge!
“Lauren took care of our cats while we were out of the country for two weeks and was absolutely phenomenal. She followed our instructions to a T! We got thorough daily updates and awesome pictures. Our cats were so comfortable with her— even our shy one. She did a great job administering meds, too. Above all, we appreciated her consistent communication. We will be requesting sitting from her again in the future!!”
“Laura was a lifesaver for my family! We had a last minute emergency and needed someone to help take care of our cat. She took great care of him every day for a few weeks. It was such a relief to have our cat in safe and caring hands while we were out of town. I highly recommend Laura for any and all help.”

“Mackenzie did a very nice job taking care of Luigi and Lucia! She fes them according to my directions (we have special feeders), and she was able to give my cat Luigi his insulin injections accurately and correctly. The litter was well scooped and everything looked great when I returned home. Greatly appreciated her!”

Charlie was absolutely lovely. Very professional while still being friendly and not too formal. Communication was clear and prompt from the planning of the meeting to the actual visits caring for my dog. Definitely will be reaching out again when I next need a dog sitter

Gienna was amazing with our dog, Harley! She was incredibly thoughtful, caring, and attentive in her drop-in visits. Throughout the entire process-from booking and communication through her last visit of the day-she was prompt and made sure to provide very detailed updates. Our dog loved Gienna and we knew he was in very capable and caring hands! I could not recommend Gienna more!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
