For extended, continuous care where I am required to stay at your home for multiple consecutive hours, I charge an hourly rate of $25/hour.If you need a multi-hour booking, please message me directly before confirming so I can manually adjust the request to the correct total! This ensures your pet gets my undivided attention for the entire block of time. When I care for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. - Walks & exercise: I match your dog’s pace and energy level whether that’s a quick potty break, a long walk playtime. - Drop-ins: I handle feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks and always make time for playtime and affection so your pet feels loved, not just “checked on.” - Sitting: I provide companionship, stick to your pet’s daily schedule and make sure your home is respected and cared for while you’re away. I completely understand how much trust it takes to let someone into your home. For extra peace of mind, I always encourage pet parents to use cameras if they’d like because that way you can see your pets happy and comfortable while you’re away. I also send regular updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Just for extra reassurance, I don’t invite people into your home. The only time I ever have was for a family I’d been sitting for over many years, and I made sure to ask first—I only had my dad over for dinner because it was Thanksgiving during that stay. Aside from that, I would never invite friends or anyone else over, as I personally find that disrespectful.

About: I grew up a family that is never complete without a four legged sibling. I learned to care for our dogs early on, and was raised to walk, clean, medicate, feed, and train just like I was raised to make my bed as a part of my routine. During weekdays I work as a daycare teacher, and I check on my pets before and after! On the weekends, I come by morning, afternoon and evening to make sure that they are enjoying their weekend as much as I am I always check water and food after greeting your pet, and administer medication as needed. For cats, I’ll check the litter box, and for dogs I’ll take them for a walk. Afterwards, I make sure to spend some quality time playing with them!

About: I grew up with dogs and have almost always had one as an adult. I’m comfortable with all breed big and small and have trained many dogs, including stubborn pitties and enthusiastic goldens. I just adopted my foster pup Remy who is the best girl. I love dogs and will treat yours like they’re mine. I can’t wait to meet your pup and go for a frolic! I currently am unemployed and filling my days with walking pups and volunteering. My schedule if pretty flexible. I’m on a pretty standard schedule for wake up and walks. I live in a 2nd floor apartment of a 2 family, so I can’t take dogs out there for a quick pee. I go for 2-3 walks a day with my pup. I’m adaptable for your pups schedule when sitting.

About: My name is Meryn DeSimone, I am 22 and recently graduated from Elon University. I've taken care of a variety of different of animals and truly love spending time with pets! I currently have a chinchilla, Frank and a leopard gecko, Sally. My parents have two dogs also, Kip and Hammy and I have grown up with having dogs and cats around so they are second nature to me. I consider myself to be an organized and dedicated person with a big heart for animals. I would be more than happy to assist with any local pet care needs. I have plenty of time in the afternoon after my classes and I would love to spend that time going on a walk or taking care of pets! I can walk the dogs for long enough to make sure they are tired, feed them, clean up after them and even give medications or special requests that the animals would need!

Being a pet owner myself, I know what others are looking for while leaving their loved ones in the hands of others. Throughout my time looking after pets my duties have been; walking, feeding, boarding, giving pets with Diabetes their injection of insulin, giving animals their daily medications (both liquid and pills) and just about anything else you can think of! I have taken care of 6 month old puppies to 17 year old dogs of all different breeds and disabilities. I don't view animals as pets but as members of a family. When your pet is with me, they will be treated like royalty! My current job is both remote and flexible, giving me the ability to be attentive and care for your your pets consistently throughout each day! My home is pet very pet friendly and safe. Animals are allowed on the couch and beds! Along with walks, there is a dog play area where I live to keep your pet(s) entertained and happy! Please note I do have a very friendly dog at my home (he loves all animals!) so if your pet is boarded my dog will be present. I would also like to add a note that if you are requesting house sitting services, I usually take my dog with me for the nights unless requested otherwise. If that is the case, please let me know and I will see if I can make accommodations for my pet so I am able. Thank you!

About: I absolutely love all animals! I grew up having cats and dogs my entire life. I have pet sat for relatives, neighbors, and family friends since my early teens. My last dog had medical needs and was dog selective so I have first hand experience with both of those kinds of needs and the needs of elderly dogs. I'm active and have a fairly flexible schedule so I can care for your pets in whatever ways best suit them. During the week my schedule is very flexible and I can often structure my schedule around your needs. I am not available most weekends but I will be sure to keep my availability up to date. I will be thorough when asking questions in preparation of caring for your beloved pets to ensure I provide the best care possible. Whether it is for over night stays, walking, and cleaning cages; I am a trustworthy individual that takes great responsibility with your space and pet. I work full-time (M-F) so I would be available to assist in tasks after 5pm during those particular days.
