“Our request was very last minute and Michaela was nothing but flexible and attentive to our cats needs. The meet and greet was really reassuring and her communication was great, we felt at ease knowing there was someone there for their feeding and litter care. I will definitely book with her again!”

About: I am attentive, patient, kind, and empathetic toward all animals. I’ve spent my whole life around pets, grew up with four huskies, and have always wanted more pets in my life. I currently have two cats, a senior named Gatsby and a kitten named Pippin. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! I work from home full time and set my own schedule, so I can be flexible with timing of walks and drop in home visits. I have a car and easy access to all forms of transportation. I can visit your home and stick to your and your pets’ routines, or pop by in the middle of the day for walks and trips to the dog park.
About: I’ve been a pet lover all my life. I was lucky enough to work in an Animal Hospital while I was in college and learned basic pet First Aid, and how to spot health issues with animals before they become a problem. I currently walk and pet sit dogs as small as 7lbs to my biggest client who is 135lbs. I’m semi retired and love spending time with animals, so walking and pet sitting has been great! I am flexible and have a good car that is reliable in all weather. I have two large pups at home ( Beau and Casey Jones), who stay home when I pet sit and walk dogs so that I can give my client’s pets my undivided attention.
“I cannot say enough great things about Tawana's pet-sitting service! She cared for my cat with such love and attention, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Despite the building management losing the spare key, Tawana made an extra trip on the same day to ensure my cat was well-cared for, demonstrating her commitment and professionalism. She took the time to feed, water, and clean the litter box, and even played with my cat to keep her happy and entertained. Tawana also sent me the most adorable pictures and videos, which made me feel so connected while I was away. Her kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals truly stand out. I am beyond satisfied with her service and incredibly grateful for her help. I highly recommend Tawana to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!”

About: Hi Pet Parents! 🐾 please read 🐾 Multi-Hour & Constant Care BookingsPlease note that my listed drop-in rates cover standard 30 to 60-minute visits. For extended, continuous care where I am required to stay at your home for multiple consecutive hours, I charge an hourly rate of $25/hour.If you need a multi-hour booking, please message me directly before confirming so I can manually adjust the request to the correct total! This ensures your pet gets my undivided attention for the entire block of time. I bring over 6 years of pet care experience from Wag and have been on Rover for about a year where I built long term relationships with pups (and their humans!) through a ton of walks, drop-ins and sittings! ✨ What sets me apart? - Consistency & reliability: I treat your pets and your home with the same care I’d want for my own. - Experience with all kinds of dogs: from shy rescues to energetic puppies to senior pups or disabled dogs who need gentler attention and care - Communication: I keep you in the loop with updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your best friend is happy and safe. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone and I don’t take that lightly. Whether it’s a quick walk, an overnight stay or daily drop ins, I’m here to make sure your pets feel loved and cared for while you’re away. - I know a lot of you are parents and / or are very busy if you need more assistance such as picking your dog up from doggy day care, grooming appointments or simply just cleaning up the house please let me know and we can discuss further Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! 🐶🐾 I have the flexibility to adapt to your pet’s specific routine and needs, so they get consistency and attention just like they would if you were home. When I care for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. - Walks & exercise: I match your dog’s pace and energy level whether that’s a quick potty break, a long walk playtime. - Drop-ins: I handle feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks and always make time for playtime and affection so your pet feels loved, not just “checked on.” - Sitting: I provide companionship, stick to your pet’s daily schedule and make sure your home is respected and cared for while you’re away. I completely understand how much trust it takes to let someone into your home. For extra peace of mind, I always encourage pet parents to use cameras if they’d like because that way you can see your pets happy and comfortable while you’re away. I also send regular updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Just for extra reassurance, I don’t invite people into your home. The only time I ever have was for a family I’d been sitting for over many years, and I made sure to ask first—I only had my dad over for dinner because it was Thanksgiving during that stay. Aside from that, I would never invite friends or anyone else over, as I personally find that disrespectful.
“Victoria took excellent care of my shy boy Ron! She made sure all of his needs were met while also making friends with him! I will be using her for care of my car in the future! Thank you!”

About: Every animal is unique, and I pride myself on understanding your pet's particular set of wants and needs and meeting them where they're at. If your pup is the type that jumps up off the couch to greet every person who walks in the door, I'll return that energy. If, like the Jack Russell I grew up with, they mostly want someone to feed them, walk them, and give them the occasional pet, I'll tend to their needs while giving them the space they want. And if, like my sister's dog, they're anxious about every new face they see, I'll approach them with the tact and patience they need to be comfortable. I've grown up with and cared for dogs for the past twenty years, and I've loved each and every one of them. I have experience caring for both puppies and seniors, walking large and reactive dogs, and administering meds. I do this full time and attend graduate school part time, so I have a very flexible schedule and am able to attend to a wide variety of needs. Your pet's safety is always my number one priority. I like to have a full written list of their needs so that there is no room for confusion and to ensure I know about any quirks of theirs and/or worries of yours. I tend to send updates on a daily basis, but that can always be adjusted to a schedule that works better for you.
“Emily was outstanding in taking care of our cats and keeping us updated on how they were doing while we traveled. She brought such peace of mind to our trip, and our kitties clearly loved her!!”

About: I have cared for pets for almost 6 years, ranging from pet sitting to caring for dogs while working at my local grooming facility. I also frequently volunteer at Cape Ann Animal Aid in their cat wing caring for the shelter cats. I have fed, cleaned, and walked dogs. I am also experienced in veterinary care including administering medications and being certified in FearFree, Pet first aid, Pet CPR, and more. I fully dedicate my time to your pets, and I am able to take them to dog parks, beaches, anything that’ll allow them to socialize and get proper exercise! When you are gone I would do anything and everything to make your pet feel as comfortable as they can, as well as keeping up with their current routine. I am experienced in dogs/cats that are very anxious, whether that means shy towards humans/dogs, afraid of loud noises, reactivity, etc. Due to my veterinary background and personal experience, I am fully capable of administering medications including daily or preventatives. (Oral, topical, etc) I am currently working part-time, but I am fully free on days that I am not working. I am available after 11am and before 8pm. I am available on weekdays and weekends, as well as some holidays. I am a college student, so I am only available over the summer, winter, and spring when I am home for breaks. I am currently unable to care for pets in my own home at this time due to the temperament of my pets, however I can care for pets in clients homes. I am familiar with using crates, basic obedience training, and petsitting dogs and cats including feeding, cleaning, playing, and walking the dog.
“Megan is passionate and caring ! She sends the best updated and photos of our fur baby. She is super helpful and punctual. We love her services and our dog does too. Thanks for being great!”

Brooke was great! She was on time (with treats in hand) and did a great job with walking, playing with and taking care of my golden retriever puppy so I could take a work call. Charlie was pooped and went right down for a nap after. So helpful for those that work from home!

Highly recommend Johnny! He took excellent care of our dog Candy, feeding her and taking her out for a nice walk. He was incredibly communicative, followed all of our instructions to a T, and gave us total peace of mind. Candy was in great hands, and we will absolutely reach out to him again in the future!

Perla kept nervous and super sweet bully breed for several nights, She treated him like one of the family, gave him lots of cuddles, and had him calm and snuggled up in no time. Her home is very peaceful, loving and quiet, and she has lots of nice outdoor areas for walks. She also had great communication and sent me lots of updates. Highly recommended!!! My boy will be back soon!!!

We have a reactive pup so we scheduled a meet and greet with Jesse - it went incredibly well and he understood exactly how to approach our pup with his specific temperament to make it all go well. By the end my pup was literally falling asleep in his lap which I had never seen before with a newly introduced human with my dog! Im very excited to continue booking with Jesse!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
