Hi! I've consistently cared for both dogs and cats for a variety of families both in my own home and in their home back in my hometown in Connecticut for about 6 years. I also worked part-time for a pet care company called Shirley’s Pet Project in Chicago for about two years before moving to Boston. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, needs, activity levels, and have two cats of my own. I have experience administering oral medication, providing for a special diet, and addressing special needs. I have a car as well. A little about me: I’m a full-time speech language pathologist for Boston Public Schools. I live in Brighton with my fiancée and our two cats, Debbie and Howie. I follow all care directions and will not hesitate to ask questions or report concerns. For pups, I would not take them off leash on walks unless explicitly permitted and dedicate my undivided attention to them when caring for them. For all animals, I ensure their food, water, and toileting needs are looked after and will provide frequent play time.

Lauren was so wonderful caring for our two cats, Ozzy and Willis. She was incredibly communicative and attentive to our boys and I would absolutely have her care for them again! Thanks for all that you do, Lauren!
Lauren was so fantastic! She was very responsive with a last minute request and made time for a meet and greet before I left town. She sent lots of pictures and updates, and couldn't have been more pleasant or easy to communicate with. The house was in better shape than I left it! I can't wait to have Lauren house sit my cat again, 10/10

Lauren took amazing care of my nervous cat while I was away, even got her to come out to play. She was also very communicative and responsive, and was accommodating when I made a scheduling mistake and needed to add extra visits. I highly recommend booking with Lauren to care for your cat(s)!

Over the summer, I am free all day for pet care activities. During the school year, I’m available before 8 am and after 3 pm.
