(Sorry I do not offer meet & greets ) Hello my name is Julia I currently live in Peabody Ma , I have quite a lot of experience with watching and caring for pets. I’ve done wags for 6 years and rover for about 4 years now . I have worked in doggy daycares and a local vet office for about 3 years before my pregnancy about a year ago . I love working with animals so I love having the opportunity to still work with rover and have it work with my schedule! I have used Julia twice now for boarding my 10 year old Pug Winston. This time was for 7 days and he came back to me noticeably fatter. I asked her at pick up if he’s been fed anything other than his food and Julia said no but he could’ve picked up something off the floor. I came home and weighed Winston and he was 2.5 lbs heavier than when I dropped him off. That doesn’t seem like a large number but it is over 16% of his body weight in 7 days. That’s the human equivalent of over 25 lb weight gain over 7 days if your starting weight is 160lbs. Winston is a small senior dog and I’ve spent significant effort his whole life to keep him trim for his health and now he is literally in the obese category for his body after a week of boarding. I will work hard to get him to a healthy weight again but what does really bother me is not knowing what my dog was fed while I was gone (he was left with pre-portioned food in individual meal bags so there’s no way he could be over fed by his own kibble). He’s been farting up a storm since he’s been back which means he’s been allowed to get into and eat things he’s not supposed to. This does not make me feel like Winston had the appropriate eyes watching him while I was away, which I’m not surprised by since there was at least 1-2 other dogs that was there during Winston’s stay. I messaged Julia again after I got home and weighed Winston asking again if he got into other dogs food or any human food with no reply. Julia overall is very nice but I would not book again after this experience.
Julia took great care of my dog & I got pics of her son playing with him. It was sweet & I knew he was in good care!
Phuch had a great time with Julia. She was amazingly responsive.
Julia was great! I had a bunch of last minute changes (weather / travel) and Julia accommodated every one. It was so helpful to know Louie was being cared for while getting weather updates. He came back extremely happy and had a great weekend away.

Depending on the dogs health and age would determine what I would do to insure they have fun and get the daily exercise they need ! Your furr baby with have fun with me and also be safe and comfortable while doing so . :)
