About: My mom was a vet growing up as well as a dog trainer and daycare owner. I have taken care of dogs with her for years and have also learned basics like giving dogs insulin, flea meds, and other meds. I am a college student at endicott college in Beverly Ma, I am just looking to make extra money and get outside and with some furry friends! I miss my animals and love the fulfillment of playing with them. My dogs at home have an invisible fence. I still usually will check on them a few times to make sure they haven’t gotten out, but that is a very rare occasion. In the past when taking care of animals without an invisible fence, I be sure to have them on a leash or in very close proximity.
About: I have my very own rescued golden retriever/hound mix named Goldfish. He’s taught me the importance of patience, slow introductions and the power of treats! I have experience working with large breeds, anxious dogs, reactive dogs and senior dogs with special needs. I’m also a runner so I’d be happy to take your high energy pups on a run! I have a flexible schedule since I work part time. I will be available to hang out with your pups most days of the week! I’m attune to dog body language and make sure to read their cues when approaching them. I’ll be sure that they’re secure when entering and exiting a home. When we’re on walks, I’ll make sure that they don’t get into things when they’re not supposed to and be cautious of other dogs and people.
About: I first discovered my passion for animal care in fifth grade when I brought home and later adopted my class pet, Spot, an anole lizard who remained with our family for two years. About: I've had Cats all my life, and Dogs as long as I can remember! I worked my way up from Attendant to Supervisor at a local Veterinary Hospital I was at for 6 1/2 years. I had 15 Attendants working underneath me that I hired, scheduled and trained. I was in charge of Small and Large Breed boarding departments, Doggie Daycare, and cats as well. My duties consisted of Monitoring, Feeding, Medicating and exercising Boarding and Daycare Animals from Friendly to Aggressive and Puppies to Seniors. It’s a blessing to be able to give each pet (or household of pets) their own deserved care and undivided attention rather than having to split my time and energy between pets at a large facility. I consider myself lucky to be able to work for myself and make my own schedule. This allows me to care for pets and still spend time with my family. I have a friendly 6 year old mix spayed female at home that I trained myself. She loves playing ball and going for our daily walks. Sophia always takes such great care of my cat while I am traveling and sends me daily pictures. Sophia also feeds her, changes her water regularly and spends time playing and brushing her. But the best part is my cat has become more friendly and playful each time Sophia has stayed with her. This provides me with great comfort knowing I have a quality and trustworthy person caring for my cat and my home. I always return to a spotless home and a friendly face waiting my return. Malena was fantastic with our 3 large dogs, one being a puppy. She stayed in close contact with us with plenty of updates and the pups loved her. All of our dogs have very different personalities and she did great with all of them. Our request was very last minute and she was able to accommodate everything we needed.
