“Sophia did a great job keeping our furry baby company while we were gone. She updated us every day on how he was doing and sent photos. She also left our home in great shape. This is our third time hiring Sophia and we can highly recommend her.”

“Vanessa treated our pup and home as if they were her own. Our place was spotless! We are so happy to have found her and feel so comfortable leaving our girl in her hands again. Thank you so much, Vanessa!”

“Johnny is a great dog walker. He was available on short notice, and he sent lots of update pics of my pups. My one dog is particularly reactive around strange dogs she sees on walks, but he seemed to handle her with no problem.”

About: I've cared for animals of all species since I was a kid. Whether it's for drop-in visits for play, walks, and exercise, or extended stays, it's always a joy to get to know each animal's unique personality. Whether they're full of energy or full on couch potatoes I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. I have experience with senior dogs, anxious dogs, highly active dogs, and those with specific medication schedules. I'm also experienced with (and a big fan of!) caring for cats-whether they're shyer with new folks or instant lovebugs! I'm available daytime Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and during the weekend. I also have flexible evening availability during the week. I am available for house-sitting both over weekends and by arrangement during the week. I care for people's pets in their homes, either on a drop-in basis for walks, play, and exercise, or for overnight pet-sitting. I like to begin with a meet and greet with owners and pets to get to know both parties, and get an introduction to the care needs and personality of the pet. My goal is to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for your animal and to communicate with you so that you have peace of mind while you are away.
“Omar took great care of our cat, Ashe. Ashe is a people cat and needs human attention and companionship. Omar made sure Ashe was happy and content. We also received photo updates every day as requested. Omar took great care of our home. We will be rebooking with Omar.”

“Katie seriously could not have been more perfect for the role! Patient, kind, animal loving - our special needs dog thrived in her care. We feel so incredibly lucky to have found her! Already booked for more opportunities. Katie, you are a gem! 1000 out of 10 recommend ❤️”

“Sarah is an attentive and caring sitter. She treated my home as her own and was so careful with my senior citizen and my little troublemaker. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sarah again!”

“We couldn’t say enough great things about Matt! He was beyond awesome. Not only did he take great care of our pups, communicate every step of the way but he also helped do some odds and ends around the house. We would highly recommend using Matt for your pup needs!”

“Maria was amazing! This was our first time using Rover, and Maria was so accommodating with a last minute request to watch our dog, Zolie. We felt so comfortable leaving her with Maria as she has experience with reactive dogs. We would definitely love to work with her again!”

“Jo was an incredible sitter for my two girls, one a young pup and one a senior. She provided updates and photos and was great with handling the special needs of a senior dog. Highly recommend!”
“Meredith was great with Arlow and Zoey. She sent me photos, kept me informed, the pups had a great time and she's super flexible. I highly recommend her and I'm already booking her for two upcoming trips.”

“Makayla was friendly, communicative and experienced handling our two dogs, giving them their meds and looking after our house. We would absolutely use her again for pet sitting.”

“Teri was incredible with our big, anxious bernadoodle puppy (and with an equally anxious dog mom)! She spent a good amount of time with Walter and us prior to the trip, with a few walks to get to know him. On our trip, she was very proactive and clear in her updates (with photos and videos!) and Walter warmed up to her pretty quick. We also benefited from her dog training and wellbeing skills to improve Walter’s happiness and behavior. On returning, the house was immaculate and Walter was content. We definitely recommend Teri for dog/house sitting and walks.”

“Ida is the best!!!! She did great with both of our cats and our very nervous dog. House looked great, pets were happy, all around good! Happy to have her close by to watch ours in the future :)”

About: I've lived with cats my whole life and I love dogs too. I regularly walk many miles per day and can walk a dog any distance needed, and have no issue with walking larger dogs. I can't help but call any cat or dog 'buddy' when I see them. I am home most days working on my business so I have very flexible hours. I don't mind walking in the rain or snow. I'm currently working on building my own businesses and have very flexible hours during the day. I can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care. I have two cats at home so I can't really take care of pets in my own home but I am happy to take care of a pet in their own home.
“Kathrine is such a professional, I knew from the moment she walked in that she was prepared to learn everything about my dog and home in order to best care for him. We were so pleased! She communicates frequently, sent happy pics of our pup, and took good care of our home while we were away. Would definitely use her again!”

About: I've had pets since I was born and I love taking care of them. My family, neighbors, and friends have all relied on me to take care of their pets over the years, whether it's for walks, check-ins, or overnights. I am a full-time college student, but I will have plenty of time during the week for quick check-ins and walks, and I will be able to stay overnight during the weekends. I am very comfortable around dogs and would have no problem going on walks, crating your dog, or doing any other tasks that may be required.
“Didn’t feel like it was the first time meeting! She was flexible with my schedule and planned fun outings for my dog. She loved him despite his quirks. And he came home exhausted! Would highly recommend Sharon to anyone looking to leave their baby in a loving home.”

Sarah was lovely - both my dog and cat fell for her the moment she walked through the door for our Meet & Greet, and our cat even rolled all over her feet, which is incredibly rare! She took great care of both of them, was very communicative, and took great care of our home as well. We would absolutely book with Sarah again.

Sophia always takes such wonderful care of my cat when I travel. On my recent trip my flight was cancelled because of the snow storm and my return travel was delayed three days. Sophia really came through for me and extended her stay and continue to provide wonderful care to my cat until I was able to return. I am truly grateful to have Sophia taken care of my cat.

Kathrine is such a professional, I knew from the moment she walked in that she was prepared to learn everything about my dog and home in order to best care for him. We were so pleased! We couldn’t say enough great things about Matt! He was beyond awesome. Not only did he take great care of our pups, communicate every step of the way but he also helped do some odds and ends around the house. We would highly recommend using Matt for your pup needs!

Kirssy is amazing! She took care of our 3 month old lab for our first trip away and she was so communicative and we felt that our puppy was in great hands. We really appreciated her attention to detail ensuring she knew our preferences in his routine. We look forward to working with Kirssy again!

Best sitter we have had so far We highly recommend Olivia for the concern and care she gave our 3 dogs including a special need Frenchie She constantly provided us with updates and photos to keep us informed We were very lucky that she was available on short notice

Elena is fairly new to dog house sitting and was most attentive via text and spent a lot of quality time with our dog, sharing lots of picture and videos. Feedback: She was perhaps too eager to please - she washed the sheets, bathroom rugs and dog bed cover without asking, something perhaps worth asking the homeowner first. We should also share this is only our second time using Rover in over 10 years. We usually have a regular dog house sitter that was busy. Maybe Rover should have a check list of house items that the Rover employee could ask the client upon meeting them. This would clarify many things for both parties.

Stacey is the best dog sitter - Not only is she an expert with dogs (yes, my pup is very strong willed!) but she is very responsible and sent continuous updates. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was in her care and my dog returned to us very happy (I'm pretty sure he even wanted to go back to play more!). I would recommend Stacey to anyone!

Nadine stayed with our dog and cat for a week and took wonderful care of them. She sent photos and updates daily and was very responsive to any messages. It was a huge relief to know that our pets were being taken good care of while we were away. She left the house super tidy as well.
