LOVE is a four- legged word...Everett, MA

My family owns and operates a dog kennel. I have been working there part time for the past 12 years. I am not afraid of dogs, I love them! Please consider me to care for your pet, I am fun loving, caring, a huge animal lover, and your pet won't be disappointed with my company. I love long walks with dogs and enjoy their company. Pets truly make a difference in my life, and I will care for your dogs the same as I do for my own. Dog walking is a great way to exercise which benefits myself as well as the animal. I look forward to caring for your animals and showing them the same love that you and your family do. I find myself caring for more and more cats during drop in visits and really enjoy spending time with them also. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I look forward to working with you!!

Cape Ann Pampered Paws-Fenced YardBeverly, MA

Hi, our names are Billy and Lori and we are a married couple with a passion for animals. You can rest easy knowing your pup will be safe, secure and well loved and cared for in our home.

We are located in Beverly off Hull Street in Centerville. We are on a quiet cul-de-sac and we have a beautiful fenced in backyard for the pups to safely run and play. We also have central air conditioning so it is always cool in the summer, which is very important for the short nosed breeds like our Pugs.

Billy is able to work from home so your pup will never be left alone. He takes the pups for long walks and spends his entire day playing with them. Your pup will go home very tired and happy!

The happiness and well being of your pup is of the utmost importance to us. We can be reached at any time on our cell phones and send you tons of pictures of your pup happily playing and having fun in our home.

Let's have a playdate! /Home FTEast Boston, East Boston, MA

We’re Loba’s Petcare, your friendly neighborhood pet sitters. Our full time job is helping you care for your pup while you take care of business. We like to establish a genuine connection with our clients and owners in order to match your at home training and care. We run weekday doggy daycare and walks along with daily boarding and drop-ins (including cats and rabbits).

A bit of background: I was born and raised in the Boston area and studied pre-vet at MCPHS University for about 3 years while working as a receptionist and shadowing at a local animal hospital for the later 2 years. While working at the vet I was introduced to the world of pet sitting and fell in love immediately. I got Violet(CEO) then began working for Rover when she turned 6 months and completed her vaccines. A few months later, my fiance joined and is currently lead walker.

We've been on Rover for 2 years and helped with everything from consistent/vacation services, to co-parenting and even parenting for longer stays. We have worked with different tempered dogs, from very-friendly to fear aggressive and always stick to your diet/feeding schedule. Basic training is enforced but we also stick to your at home training and can work on socialization with other dogs and people.

On a daily basis, your dog will be joining Violet’s general schedule, we typically go out 3-4 times, we have a fenced- in yard for roaming and outdoor play time (Larger, higher energy, or anxious dogs will get extra walks if it helps them get comfortable or they need extra exercise to calm down). We also have lots of toys to keep pups busy and recently bought some canine enrichment puzzles for the higher energy pups and we’re having fun watching them learn.

We have supported a few frequent travelers, along with traveling entrepreneurs. We’re located minutes away from the airport for easy drop-off and offer flexible pick-up/drop-off times, however we need strong communication for flexible scheduling or consistent scheduling so that we can plan our daily lives in advance. While we are home, just about 24/7, we will occasionally go out when boarding dogs are ok to be left home.

Full-time dog lover/walkerMalden, MA

I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates.

I live in Malden and provide service to Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, and Saugus (My service area is within 4 miles) and commute using my own vehicle.

I have had five dogs personally, and I have watched many of my friends' and my mother's friends' dogs, beginning from a very young age. I have one ten-year old Schipperke that I have had since she was 8 weeks old, and two who are watching down on me from heaven (Bubbles' brother who passed on August 7th 2018 and my first dog). I had a Tuxedo cat named Gus who passed away on April 14th, 2018 whom I had for 12 years. He was a rescue so his real age is unknown.

I love all dogs, big or small. I don't have favorites because they are all the greatest gift life can give us.

I have experience working with Dogs and Cats who have special needs, dogs who are, or become, aggressive in certain circumstances (i.e around cats, small children, other dogs), dogs who are leash reactive, and administering oral medication and injections.

My first dog, an old rescue dog, developed diabetes about a year after we found him, and shortly after became blind. He required insulin twice daily and a lot of attention due to incontinence and his blindness. My boy that I recently lost, Bubba, had diabetes for about 5 years and also went blind. His sister was also recently diagnosed with diabetes at age 9. He received all the love in the world and more from my family and I. He followed me all over the house and knew the words "love" and "attention" as well as many other words.

To conclude, anything involving animals or helping people will make me happy, so here I am, trying to help out.

I PROMISE to give your animal(s) tons of love!!!

****Key pick up and drop off: The first time you book with me, there is no fee.

For repeat clients, after the first booking- there is a $15 charge for pick up and a $15 charge for drop off. You will see this on your stay summary as an add on charge. This is to cover the cost of gas and time.

Everything you need under one woof.01867, Reading, MA

Hi! Sophie & Rick here! We currently live in Seabrook, NH but travel down to the Reading area Monday-Thursday to go on our dog walks and pick up dogs that are boarding with us! I previously worked as an emergency veterinary technician for over 2 years, and we have several years of experience with dog walking and pet sitting. We are comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and have a lot of experience with aggressive and submissive animals. If your dog has any behavioral quirks please let us know and we will try and work with you! We are qualified to provide basic medical care for your dog or cat. We are super active and will take your dog for a long walk, run, hike, swim or whatever they desire!

About this sitter:

We grew up around dogs and cats and love spending time with them! Your pet will enjoy a fun filled day of hiking, swimming, naps & lots of love! We grew up with a dog and a cat in a rural town in NH and Rick grew up in Maine! I majored in Wildlife Ecology at the University of New Hampshire and have previously worked as a veterinary technician for over 2 years! We would prefer not to sit inside while we are watching your pet. I would love to bring them to the park, beach, hiking! We feel very comfortable with administering medications and following your pets routine but are also willing to wing it & come up with a fun filled day!

Why we love dog sitting

We majored in Wildlife Ecology in college and have been around animals my entire life. Sophie grew up in a rural town in NH with a dog and a cat and we love being outside and going on adventures! I would love to take your pet for a long walk in the woods, or bring them to the park to play ball.

The more the merrier in our homeLynnfield, MA

We are a young family with a 6 yr old male and a 5 yr old female bearded collie, a 1.8 yr old English Setter and one cat who thinks he’s a dog. My 16 yr old adores pets and has taken pride and responsibility in helping care for and train our dogs. We would take care of your pet like it was one of our own to assure you that peace of mind while away from him/her. We have a very large yard and live close to 2 dog parks. We would also be more than happy to send text messages with photos or videos of your pet while with us!

About this sitter:

I am an animal lover and cannot imagine our home without one in it! My husband works from home as well, so your pup would never be alone.

Your dogs will feel at home while staying with us. They will be able to sleep wherever they would as if in their own home.

Why I love dog sitting

I have had dogs all of my life. As a child, I had a cockapoo who passed away when he was 15 yrs old. Then while I college, I rescued a collie pup from the pound. Athena was with me until she could no longer walk at the age of 13.5. My past two dogs, unfortunately had lyphoma..one was a scottish terrier who passed at the age of 3 and the other was a wheaton terrier who passed at the age of 4.5. After this terrible experience of losing 2 dogs at such a young age, our family steered away from the terrier breed as they are prone to cancer. Our bouncing beardies have brought so much joy and love to our lives...

About my yard

Our yard is large, and completely fenced in! It’s like having our own doggie park in a safe environment.

My experience administering medication

Administering medications is not a problem. Over the years, I have administered pills, drops and liquid medicines to our animals for various reason

Dog lovers will love yours as ours!Swampscott, MA

We are avid dog lovers and I am a member of several rescue organizations in NE and NY. I currently have 3 rescued small dogs, 2 of which were badly treated as breeder females in a puppy mill in upstate New York. My friends saved them from a bullet to the head and brought them to me to love them back to life. We adore being surrounded by wet noses and slurpy kisses.

I will take care of your baby the way that I do my own. They are not left alone often nor are they left outside for longer than a few minutes unless we are walking them...and living 2 blocks from the beach, they get to run in the sand and the surf!

About this sitter:

Married for 30 years with a 25 year old son. I'm a consultant that works mostly from home and loves dogs. My husband is an Critical Care RN and runs 2 ER's and 2 ICU's.

I have over 9 years of administering insulin shots (2 per day) for my beautiful and sweet boy, Heartly. He was diagnosed at 6 with Diabetes and lived to be almost 16. So, I have a lot of experience of taking care of dogs that need a little extra care.

We are "empty nesters" with a great son who is 25 and now lives in Brooklyn, NY. He is in the music biz and is an avid dog lover just like us. He visits often.

We offer a nice house in a nice neighborhood (full of dogs and loving owners) with a fully fenced back yard and a quick walk to the beach for lots of fun by the ocean. We do this for the love of dogs and for the humans that love them. We want to offer loving dog parents a chance to get a little break for a getaway or for a work trip while leaving their sweet fur babies with someone that they can trust and will always take excellent care of their babies. We will love yours like ours!

Why I love dog sitting

All of my adult life. I work with dog rescue organizations to rescue, foster and adopt regularly. I have had 6 rescue babies in the last 4 years and I give them every bit of love in my heart.

Meet my pets

3 small girls, Zoe, Lilly and Tinkerbelle; 1 Lhasa Apso and 2 Shih Tzu

About my yard

Flat, fenced in with a deck to play on, lots of trees for shade, a garden and well maintained grass.

My experience administering medication

Yes. I had an insulin dependent baby that I administered insulin shots to twice a day for almost 9 years. I have given every kind of ear and eye medicine and wound management. With my experience and my husband's medical knowledge, we know how to take care of medical situations and when to bring a pup to the vet.

Boarding rates are for 24 hours. There will be a overage charge of $10 for up to 4 hours or a $20 charge for 4-8 hours over. This charge is only applied one time, for the hours on the last day. Thanks for understanding!

Puppy Playland By the BeachRevere, MA

We are a young, active couple with no kids. Both of us have full time jobs but are free most weekends. Abby [7 years] is a ball of energy and loves to have friends over. We have a small side yard that is fenced in but do constantly supervise the dogs when they are out. We also take the dogs to Belle Isle Marsh, especially on the weekends as they have more space to run and play During the Fall/Winter/Spring we also have access to 2 local beaches for those water loving canines.

We average about 2 long walks daily and of course there is lots of tiring play time.

If you are looking to get out of town for a long weekend or vacation please send us a message. We take dogs during the week but due to work there will be some time they will be home alone.

Your Dog's Little Place in BostonEast Boston, Boston, MA

We pride ourselves on taking lots of photos and providing updates for every dog who stays with us. Usually we text or email photos and provide photo galleries with dozens or hundreds of pictures throughout a dog's stay. (Depending on length of stay.) That seems to work better for most people than using the Rover app for photos. You will definitely receive photos of your dog during their stay with us from the first day to the last!!

We are dog lovers without a dog of our own at the moment and thought this would be a useful service we could offer to others in our community. We love dogs and will treat yours just as we would our own while they are in our home. (Being careful to follow all of your instructions of course).

We own our own pet-friendly condo near a nice big park and a dog park too (literally around the corner) in East Boston. It's just one T stop from downtown Boston (waterfront/financial district), or we're right off of 1A or 90 by car. If you're flying, it may be convenient that we're very close to Logan.

We're only a block away from East Boston Memorial Park and the Bremen St dog park. We go to the park for longer walks a couple of times a day weather permitting, and depending on the ability and preferences of the dogs of course. We also like to take the dogs who stay with us to the dog park, unless that's not something they enjoy. And of course that's perfectly OK too!

We don't have many of our own rules inside... about keeping off of furniture and that sort of thing, but we are always careful to follow any rules that come with each dog.

We typically watch only one dog at a time, although we will occasionally make exceptions for dogs from the same family or our regulars who we know get along very well with other dogs, but only with the explicit permission of everyone involved.

We have a small place but there is plenty of room for favorite toys, beds, blankets, etc.

About this sitter:

My beloved Dalmatian Billy died a few years ago. I haven't brought a new dog home yet so I thought this would be a great way to help other people and get my dog fix!

Why I love dog sitting

There wasn't an option like Rover when we had our dog Billy. We didn't feel comfortable leaving him at kennel, which really limited what we were able to do for a long time. I love that I can provide a home away from home with the fun and attention all dogs deserve so that you can feel comfortable leaving your dog when you need to, knowing that they'll be well cared for.

Meet my pets

Our cats, Molly and Katie, get along well with dogs. They've had a lot of practice since we've started working with Rover (and previously DogVacay).

Dog Lovin familyRevere, MA

I have never had a time in my life without dogs. I love everything about them. I am the person who stops you on the street to pet your dog....just can't help myself I love them all.

I can promise you your pup will be in a safe and loving home. I live with my husband and two teenage children and we are all CRAZY dog lovers. We have two dogs, one who lives with us and one who lives with my sister-in-law downstairs. Sassy is a mixed terrier, Chloe is a silly Irish setter. Sassy likes to sleep a lot and chase squirrels in the yard and Chloe wants to do whatever Sassy is doing and always be within 3 feet of her people and love them up with kisses.

We have a locked fenced in yard and two doors exiting our home to the front porch where we have a locked gate to the front stairs so our dogs can't escape to the beach at the end of the street. Your pup will never be left outside unattended. We stay outside with them. You can have total peace of mind that your fur baby is getting the best care ever!

Your pups can spend their days enjoying the company of people who love them, playing with our dogs, resting on the porch with us while we have our morning coffee and taking a daily walk to the beach or the park.

You can be sure your dog will be happy and well cared for while you are away. Our home is very clean and well kept. I am home all day to care for your pup and we have a separate doggie room for the few times I need to leave your pup to do errands.

We can provide your precious pet a safe and loving vacation with walks on the beach or to the park, playtime with their new canine pals, love and LOTS of hugs and belly rubs. What could be better than that? So give your precious pets the 5 star vacation they deserve with a loving family. Looking forward to meeting you.
